I came here after the negative degree weather unfortunately made the rear main oil seal on my 2017 Chevy Equinox Freeze and break. Took it to the dealership, and the price of fixing it was so unbelievably absurd I couldn't believe it. When I called Nick and described the problem, he was quick to asses it and give me a price that was far, far better. Thankfully, it was not antifreeze in the engine but moisture on the dipstick. Not only did he fix the problem, but he and his crew went above and beyond to make sure it didn't happen again. They saved me thousands and went the extra mile to make sure to let me know what repairs may be needed in the future when the time comes for normal maintenance and upkeep. I've only lived in the area a couple of years, but I can say without a doubt that Nick is my new one-stop shop. I am so grateful for all of his help and hard work. If you want quality work, expert knowledge, and service, do not hesitate to call him. I would recommend him to any, and as I am a truly grateful.

We travelled from Baltimore to Mentor for Thanksgiving and while on route our brakes started making a whirring metal sound. Not good especially when it was snowing pretty good. Nick was recommended as a great mechanic. The problem was I needed him to diagnose my problem and fix it on the day after Thanksgiving. We had planned to leave on Saturday. Nick went out of his way to get us in and did a brake job to fix everything by Friday evening. He was professional, courteous, and kind. We couldn't have been more pleased and appreciative. Highly recommended!!

I had issues with my car oil being consumed too fast which is a common problem either certain Hyundai models. He was able to help me fix it, discuss what I needed to talk about with the dealer and helped me tremendously. Highly recommend!!!

I went to Nick with a check engine light. Turns out my emissions were still under warranty and he set up a service date for me to get my catalytic converter replaced at my dealer at no cost to me. I have a 60,000 mile warranty and wasn't aware that emissions were covered up to 80,000. Thanks to Nick's honesty I am saving a bunch of money. I will definitely return in the future.

Late Review here.Well basicly we have a barely functional pos rust bucket.It's difficult to work on because of if you are not careful you may further damage the car.We had been looseing power steering fluid and a few other issues. Nick fixed our car quickly and the cost of repairs was fair.

This is a review of the customer service and experience I had trying to make an appointment, NOT the quality or price of repairs. I called to ask prices for replacing an alternator, and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude. When I told him what make, model, and year the car was he asked to know the engine size, which is perfectly acceptable. However as I wasn't entirely sure of the correct size I said "I think it's a v6." The man then laughed loudly at me and as if speaking to a toddler told me he needed to be sure. He then suggested that I look at the Vin number, again in a derogatory tone. However, by that time the damage had been done. I said I wasn't near the car and that I would have to call him back. I understand that dealing with ignorant customers can be frustrating, however that is no excuse to lash out at them. I definitely recommend re-examining how to talk to potential customers in the future.

I had a walk-in appointment with Nick. He started working on my car immediately and let me come back with him to explain what I was hearing and where. Eventually he was able to determine the problem and fix it on the spot. Pricing is very reasonable. Would recommend Nick to any of my friends.

Nick has been my go to mechanic for the 4 years since I first found his shop. The places I went to before him would always try and guilt you into paying for services you do not need and overcharge you for each service. Nick never tries to up sell me like that and is honest about what my car needs. He is easily the most trustworthy mechanic I have found. I cannot recommend his shop enough!

I stopped into Nick’s for an estimate on an exhaust issue I was having. Nick was literally able to diagnose the issue and offered to make the repair on the spot. 75 minutes later and I was repaired and on my way, spending way less money then I expected. Nick is clearly an old school mechanic and honest with his customers. I will be returning with all my future business.

I took my wife’s car to Nick’s shop to fix a wheel sensor that went bad that was causing a lot of warnings to go off in her hybrid. The dealership wanted to charge just over $1k to fix it and Nick was able to fix it for almost half that amount! Other shops wanted to charge us for diagnostics when we already knew what the issue was. Nick was very friendly and confident in his abilities to fix any issue. We are very grateful for Nick’s service and we will be taking our cars here from now on.
