So, to start off, I had a previous review posted earlier describing my experience, and yet, for some reason, they were able to take down my review. I purchased four tires prior to Thanksgiving with an appointment scheduled on Saturday, 29 November, at @1100 for tire installation. Long, story short, I arrived at 1045 and was informed that it would take two to three hours to replace four tires. Tires weren't installed until 5 pm, basically when they closed. The excuse was not enough mechanics, yet I'm watching them leaving for the day, and my car tires were still not installed. Afterward that night, my tire sensor started going off for no reason. After checking the tires and verifying, there's clearly nothing wrong with them. It's just obvious that whoever installed the tires damaged the sensor during the installation process. I contacted them about the matter, and they are asking $65.00 for diagnostic and $374.00 for replacing all of the cars tire sensors. So I got to come out of pocket for damages caused by the shop. This place has a reputation for cutting corners on their work and have no regard for service members. This shop is no better than the shady shops out in town. If anything, this place should be black listed. For anyone else having similar issues with this shop, I recommend reporting them to the better business bureau.

*Good service at a fair price if you're willing to wait the timeframe* Could use an appointment system cause they are first come first serve but they handle previous day Work first. Story: Was first to drop my car off for a simple oil change at 7 (open) and they told me the mechanic doesn't come in till 8 then saw them bring in other cars at 8 to work on then finally mine around 930 then they finished and called me at 1030.

I recently took my car to the Navy Exchange Car Care center after experiencing a major engine problem. My car shut down and wouldn’t start, so I called the Navy Exchange for assistance. They assured me they had good mechanics and recommended towing my car to their shop. However, the experience quickly turned frustrating. After my car was towed to their center, they told me that if I didn’t want to wait, I could tow my car to a different shop. This was already a bad start, but I decided to give them a chance. They called me later to say that my car’s starter needed to be replaced before they could diagnose any further issues. This seemed suspicious to me because my car still had power. Nonetheless, I agreed to the repair. After replacing the starter, which cost me $636, they then informed me that my car had a crankshaft problem and they couldn’t do anything about it. They suggested I take my car to a different service center. They kept my car in their service for 7-8 days without providing any updates. He spoke quickly and didn’t explain anything about my car’s condition. He seemed only interested in getting my payment. When I expressed my readiness to pay, I pointed out that they hadn’t fixed the main issue with my car. He provided no explanation or solution. This entire experience was a disaster. I ended up paying twice for towing, and the Navy Exchange Car Care center charged me a significant amount for a starter replacement that didn’t fix the underlying issue. The staff was not helpful, their diagnosis was incorrect, and their customer service was poor. I would not recommend the Navy Exchange Car Care center to anyone. Their service was unprofessional, their diagnosis was incorrect, and their customer service was terrible. I lost a lot of money and time due to their incompetence. If you think that being a sailor in the military would get you extra attention or better service, think again. It’s not true. Don’t believe it.

Took my car in for a bad alternator instead of fixing it they charged me for a checkup and said there was nothing wrong and if there was bring it back , now I'm traveling cross country having to jump start my car every time I stop.

First time writing a review... Very disappointed with the customer service. My main issue is the lack of communication and the failure to meet expected timelines. My car was in this shop for nearly 3 weeks with them failing to have a mechanic inspect the issue for the first 4 days. This in turn delayed the process of ordering parts needed to do the repair. Every time I called to get a status update they told me they would have someone call me back. This never occurred and instead I had to call every few days to get an update. The timeline kept getting pushed and the excuses were numerous. My last straw is when they said it would be ready by Saturday afternoon...I called as the deadline was approaching and had someone else tell me that it now wouldn't be ready until the following Tuesday because the mechanic assigned was off the next 2 days and failed to finish the job. The price ended up being double what was initially expected. Overall this was the worst experience I've had while dealing with an auto shop. Can't recommend this place to anyone and I'll never go back.

Went there first thing in the morning when the open I was kindly attended by Jeremy if I’m not mistaken the immediately diagnosed the issue the mechanic working on my car broke it down to me on what was causing the issue piece by piece. My total was decent great costumer service Jeremy the front desk guy was always very attentive and by 12:00 pm I had my vehicle on the road. Best experienced I have had with an auto repair shop you can count on me to go back for any type of of service thanks guys! You guys are awesome

August 1, 2023 I pre-paid 2 tires for my vehicle. The tires that i needed are available in the store so no ordering required. The guy behind the counter as me what time do i want to bring the the next day and he said he have 0800. So i asked if there anything earlier than that. Then he said i can show up early, they open at 0700 for first come fisrt served. August 2, 2023 I showed to the lot at 0635 and was third in line. Door opens at 0700 and I checked the vehicle in with the lady behind the counter. I asked how long would it take and that's when I find out that techs dont arrived till 0800 and that it would take 2 hours to replace 2 tires plus rotate. Didn't think it would take that long but what do i know, i'm not a car mechanic. The lady asked me if i want to make an appointment instead. Which to me was a bit off because i had already woken up early, drove to the shop early just to make an appointment. 0830 I still my car outside so I asked them for status. This time the guy that i purchased the tire from yesterday is behind the counter and the lady that I checked in with is standing next to him and him that I was the guy he sold tires to yesterday. We went on talking about its a 2 hour job and that they should be bringing it around soon. I was about to tell him that my hasn't move from where I parked it but he left and went to the back to check with the mechanic and that's when found out that the mechanic is just about to get my car. So he comes in and now telling me that the mechanic doesn't come in till 0800 and they still need to prep for the job. Then I said, well it's not what you were telling me earlier that it should come around some when it's just about to go to the back. Then he asked me if I want him to go get my keys and set an appointment instead. I said well I've already COMMITTED ONE HOUR AND A HALF already so let's just go with it. This is my observation alone. It seems that it's normal to them to just say "do you want your keys back?", seems to me that they don't care about the customers time. But that's just me. It's my first time to this location so i could be wrong on first impression, but I've been to other nex auto and this branch is the least favorite of mine. In summary of my venting, I wish they mentioned to me that even if you show up early, work on you car won't till 0800 or 0830 because the techs still need to prep. Expensive waste of time. spent 3 hours waiting on an alignment and they didn't fix the alignment. They put the car on the rack, printed a sheet after I'd been there two hours, didn't deliver it, pulled my car off the rack and parked it. With no one else in the stalls. And it wasn't until another hour and 15 later and I went out into the parking lot to just see if anyone was going to do ANYTHING AT ALL. and said it'd be another half an hour of labor to take a plastic panel off my car so they didn't perform the alignment. That they know is out. That I told them was out. That'll be 50 dollars. check your wheels. Yes it's out, no we didn't fix it. I'd gladly pay an extra 40 dollars of labor to not be jerked around for 3 hours when I want something that needs done finished. Nevermind that it was still a full hour before close and they couldn't be bothered to ask me if I was ok with a charge, they just didn't do it. Told me it was probably my wheels and tires. The wheels and tires that I just inspected put tires on and balanced last week. Hot. Lazy. Garbage. Never Again.

Honestly, perfer not even going to this nex car center but some of the other NEXs can't service as many jobs. The problem is not the mechanics it's the lousy clerks who serve no purpose other than to mislead you on prices and service timelines. When I was there on Saturday morning there were more clerks than mechanics, therefore they couldn't service as many jobs that they told me the day before I could get done first thing that morning. This is not my only gripe but that is the biggest reminder that they'll waste your time. Idk who the Store manager is but I'm sure their fond of useless clerks that act more like shady car salesman than honest auto mechanics.

I received excellent customer service and service for my vehicle a few days ago, but then started getting a shaky wheel, unrelated to anything they did. I asked them to see what's going on, but instead of taking my money in trying to figure it out, they asked the right questions and led me to taking my car somewhere else to get it serviced for free. These people really care.

If you’re a woman do not go ANYWHERE near this shop. I’m a mechanic and my friend brought her car here. We both knew what was wrong with it and went to get it fixed since we didn’t have the time. They said it would be ready the next day. It’s now been a week. We still don’t have the car. ON TOP of that….. the part was about $150 so around $300 total. She signed a paper. Like I said we had both looked over the car. The claimed a hose was broken (which I had just checked before dropping it off) and TRIED TO CHARGE her $1000. When she said no, they dropped it to $600. She said no again and they said “ok we will do it for free” so either it’s not actually broken or they broke it and tried to charge her for it…

Please beware of none-adherence to their operation hours and poor communication…caused so many inconveniences for customers! Brought my car in for a basic maintenance on Saturday at 0830AM and was told that it won’t be done until late afternoon, so I had my spouse pick me up and went home. Less than 2 hours later, I got a call from the front desk that it was already done and I can pick the car up anytime before 5pm (operation hours on Google and their website also stated Saturday is from 8AM-5PM). One wasted trip when I could have just waited at the store. More ridiculously, when we showed up at 4:15PM the same day to pickup the car and the store was already closed!! Another wasted trip! Now I work Sundays and the weekdays from 5AM-7PM and won’t have my car nor able to pick it up from the store at all. Please either update your hours accordingly or train your staff to know the store hours and give customers an appropriate estimated service time!

Do not trust this place to do quality work on your vehicle. Took my car in for an alignment after doing some suspension work. Seems like their machine is not calibrated properly, even though the alignment showed it was within specs on their sheet, my car pulls to the right. I brought the car back the following morning to have them recheck their work and all they do is make excuses, blame the tires (which are brand new, just installed a week ago), blame that suspension components are bad and installed incorrectly. They were gonna charge me to have someone check their work, just ridiculous. They will do everything in their power not to correct their lazy work. The main part is that they didn’t even test drive my vehicle after doing the alignment to check if it was done correctly. The just use a machine and don’t actually make sure the vehicle drives correctly. If you care about your car, take it somewhere where they actually put some pride in their work.

Oil change and tire rotation took over four hours and charged $85. They won't use oil or filters you bring. Unless you're completely incompetent it is not worth your time to come here.
