My daughter's car recently needed a quick repair and we had to find a mechanic in the Castleton area. We knew nothing about My Car Doc, but after our first interaction with them, we were so impressed with: their consistent level of communication, their expert approach to fixing cars, their honestly, their reliability in doing quick excellent work in the estimated timeframe, and the way they spoke to me and my daughter throughout the process. Once the repairs were made, we were sent a link to pay by credit card online (you are not required to do this, but this worked for us) and my daughter could pick up her car immediately or even after hours. When she got her car back, there were small gestures of appreciation left in her car: a thank you note, a small gift basket with some holiday treats and cup holder coasters. This experience left us wondering why other auto repair shops don't work to communicate and appreciate their customers. We will definitely use My Car Doc when we have need for them again. Thank you My Car Doc for your kindness and professionalism!

I will not go anywhere else. When it comes to mechanics, I was VERY choosy and typically didn’t stick with a mechanic for longer than a year at most. MyCarDoc has been the best, most helpful, genuine, honest group of mechanics I have ever worked with. This is THE ONLY PLACE to bring your cars for work.

I have used My Card Doc for over ten years now, and I live in Mooresville, IN (25+ miles away). The reason is I trust him. If he says it needs to be fixed, then it needs to be fixed. He also understands budgets. He will chat with you about what needs to be done vs. what should be done and do everything he can to keep you within your budget. He understands long-term relationships vs a "quick buck." Another reason I use him is customer service. When was the last time you received a handwritten note AND a goody bag from the owner when you picked up your car? Seriously, who does this anymore? John at My Car Doc does. I highly recommend him!

It’s taken me a while to write this review bc Google kicked me out of my account haha but I came here a couple weeks ago! The service is so wonderful, my boyfriend and I left talking about how this is a mechanic you stick with for LIFE! They gave me a run down of everything that needed fixing in my car, and rather than pressure me to fix everything all at once, they let me tell them what I’m comfortable doing at the time! Being a young woman who doesn’t know much about cars, it would have been really easy for them to take advantage of my lack of experience and charge me like crazy for things that aren’t imminent, the way my hometown mechanic would do. Not here!! It seems like they genuinely care for their customers and it felt like they honestly wanted me to do what was best for me at the moment. I went home with a little goody bag as well, which is HUGE for someone like me! They didn’t have to do that, but the fact that they did just shows so much about their character and stellar customer service. Incredible experience from start to finish, and I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you John & the rest of the team! <3

The number of things they did for my car in the time they did it in was a breath of fresh air after dealing with a questionable mechanic elsewhere for a year. Went in for an inspection on vibrations and grinding sounds on my Kia. They did a full inspection on short notice. I had my car back fast and is running smoothly! I have never been treated more fairly and felt taken care of getting my car repaired in my life!! John and his team worked tirelessly to insure everything to make my van run safely was done. I was shocked how affordable it was. I had a warranty through a 3rd party. Which it was a pain to deal with the company and My Car Doc handled it without complaint. When I picked my van up there was a thank you note, treats for my kids and a thank you for me. Red carpet treatment the entire time

I went through something terrible, but they fixed my vehicle and my mood! My catalytic converter was stolen, and I felt super violated that someone would SAW OFF part of my beloved car. They were able to get my car in within a few business days, the repair took just a few hours, and John is such a nice guy! We chatted until my ride arrived, and he even gave me two cute baby plants; when the repair was over, I was surprised to be handed a coffee gift card AND there was a cute tiny gift bag in my car (simple things, a couple candies, a magnet, a travel-size bug spray wipe) for my Fourth of July adventures. My ONLY complaint is that the reception area was hot, but that’s so minor! They even topped off my wiper fluid and CLEANED my floor mat after service — the mechanic that changed my oil days before got dirty boot prints on it, and it’s now shiny and clean.

John & his team went above and beyond to provide excellent service for my vehicle. I went in for an oil change, and they provided an exceptional and thorough review of my vehicle with photos and explanations. They had excellent communication and made the entire process extremely easy. I was able to pay online and pick up my car at my own convenience. They truly care about you as a customer and go above and beyond. The customer service is literally exceptional. I hope to not have any car issues, but if I ever do, I will 1000% be going back there again and definitely will continue to go for my scheduled maintenance!

John and crew gave me the feeling of being home 8000 miles away from home!!! As an immigrant from India where giant corporations are still in their budding stages in comparison to the USA, I'm used to local small businesses who go above and beyond to provide best service they could possibly provide and try to understand each of their customers needs and preferences. John greeted me well upon my arrival , inspected my car and explained everything that needs to be done and things that could wait with reasoning behind that as well. I never felt like I was being forced a service only because the computer says so. Thank you for the care.

I could not have gotten this good of service anywhere else. I truly believe in small owned businesses, but these men take the care, communication, and time so much more to heart. I was never out of the loop, confused, or felt like i was being taken advantage of. If I didn’t understand the car language it was broken down so that I understood and was able to explain myself. I am very busy and cannot sit on the phone, they were willing to put communication into text or email for me. Above and beyond! Made it easy to get my car back after working hours. (PS the care package was so heart warming!) Then I ended up in the shop for an alternative reason and heard first hand the same man who bent over backwards for me doing the same thing for someone else. There is no length they won’t go to deliver the best service. And this is coming from someone who was already discouraged by taking my jeep anywhere without feeling like my money was just being taken from me.

I took my 2014 Lexus to My Car doc last week for a complete brake job. Not only did they do a superb job, in less time than they said it would take AND for less $$ than they estimated, but they also did a complete diagnostic review of my vehicle that showed everything that was working well...but also items that might need to be addressed in the near future. Wonderful Small Business! As always, John and the My Car Doc Crew took great care of me and my car. I started going here because the dealership lost my trust in a fiasco of a service that took my car for 3 days and fixed nothing. John looked at it and fixed it same day. Since then, he and crew are ever thoughtful, do a great job, and always remember me. Today they fixed my issue, ran a full vehicle check, and recommended other things to keep in mind for future, with estimates and no pressure. They were even kind enough to tell me which things I could probably do myself for a lower cost/ what to get / where. On top of that, every time I have a service, they leave me a little note & treat in my car for pick up. Customer for life!

I was greeted by John, he explained the inspection process, how long it would take and what to expect. He was very approachable and easy to talk to as well as ask questions to. Once the inspection was done my technician, Doug, pulled my vehicle around and was also very friendly and approachable. This is not something that you see at automotive shops often. As far as the inspection report, it is very well organized and easy to understand. The pictures are excellent. The whole experience was far above expectations and they got it done in less time than the expectation that was given.

Maybe you didn't read it right I was living in my truck during the hottest part of summer with no A/C and had no access to showers so of course my vehicle smelled and there was no rotting food just some trash and it was packed with way too much stuff cause I had no where to put it.I know you people were the only ones that had access to my vehicle and I said 4 watches that go on your wrist were stolen and 1 machete.I gave nobody access to my vehicle during that hard time in my life and then you bash and try to shame me for living outta my vehicle shame on you, you overcharged me for one brake line $475 when I was quoted just a couple hundred more for all 4 you also used some of my brake fluid guess you ran outta yours and you stole 4 watches worth over a 1,000 and a machete and want to talk to me like garbage it shows what kind of person and business your running there when you talk with such disgrace your business is crooked and you have absolutely no class.A bunch of con men hope you get what you deserve.
