I spoke with these guys about an oil change. I was screwed around for 5 weeks until I finally just asked... Can I get an appointment?? Or are you unwilling to work on my vehicle? After 5 weeks, I was denied service. I went to the Valvoline down the road and had my oil changed in 20 minutes... The amount of issues those wasted 5 weeks cause me was brutal... I felt very stupid for waiting for them, after they outright denied service. But I'll be honest, I had moved on. Didn't care, since this was back in October. 3 months later, I get an email "Do you still need help with your vehicle?" No. Even if I did, even if YOU paid ME... I would never be stupid enough to return to a shop that wasted 5 weeks of my time to tell me they weren't able to do AN OIL CHANGE... Sorry you're slow this January, guys. But the unprofessional behavior in October lost me as customer permanently. If you have an imported vehicle, these guys will struggle and just waste your time... Despite literally being told about all the experience they have with VW imports... I won't forget what it cost me to be screwed around for 5 weeks when I needed my vehicle for work. 0 stars, do not recommend.

Probably one of the most thorough shops I've been to. Mark was awesome on the phone and helped me figure out a clunk before bringing it in and saved me some money on the inspection. Super cool shop, can't recommend enough.

I worked for one of the Big 3 for 35 years and was very familiar with the automotive service industry. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with how everyone at Munk's, from the owner to the technicians, all treated me like family. My '73 Thing was looking good but just didn't handle like it should. After the initial inspection, the tech took me under the vehicle and showed me all the issues. Then Chris took plenty of time explaining everything in the estimate and answering all my questions. The written estimate included the step-by-step procedures for each repair and Chris even gave me some tips in case I wanted to do any of the work myself. With a better understanding I decided to have Munk's do all the work and had also them install a front disc brake kit. Once the repairs were started, Chris kept me in the loop with several updates and took me through a couple additional issues that would be easy to address while the vehicle was in the shop. Once the repairs were completed, the owner did multiple test drives to make sure everything was right. And Munk was right - it now drives like a brand-new vehicle, and the disc brakes are fantastic! I highly recommend Munk's Motors! They will take good care of you and your classic car.

Attn Audi Owners: If you have a transmission light on DO NOT take it to Munk Motors in Waterford! Munk Motors run a diagnostic test, change the transmission fluid for a charge of $1,058.87. Then Munk Motors suggested I take it to Multistate Transmission two businesses down M59.

Terrible service, I sent the information that they asked for and never followed through. Anytime you have to call someone to get them to follow up is a sign not to give them your vehicle....

They worked on my VW van and I made it all the way to San Francisco before major engine failure. They shipped me an entire new engine without charge. The Best. Wish I could give a sixth star.

They host many different events such as technical sessions and car care clinics, offering the ability to see and interface with the shop. As a client they allow you to be as involved with your car service as you want to and they offer friendly and professional advice. I can't recommend Munk's Motors highly enough!

Munks is always on top of their game. I went for a pre-purchase inspection and was met with great professionalism. Josh managed the job and Rick was the tech who checked the car. I couldn’t have asked for better. With their recommendation I purchased the car and I’m comfortable and confident that I made a good decision. Chris, the head chipMunk, gets five stars on his own!

Whoever drives a black Porsche Cayenne who works here is a piece of work. Was almost run off the road by them 3 times while they were pulling a trailer way to big for the small suv. Not only myself but almost hit several others as well. Driving like a maniac using the trailer as a weapon behind them, cutting people off. This vehicle is always at the shop and trailer, so we know they work there. Will stop in and say hi when I have the time and I'm in the area again. So much disregard for anyone else on the road. Would never use this shop after seeing this behavior

This place was really amazing. I VW owners dream. I knew I was in the right place as soon as walked in the door. They got me into the car I wanted in no time and I absolutely love it. Make sure to come and check these guys out. They are all very polite and respectful and very knowledgeable. We'll worth my time and money. Thanks again Chris for the beautiful Cabriolet!
