We have used muffler man for years and now that Kenny the great has retired I was worried about not receiving the same quality and, most important, honest service. Having taken my car in last week I had the same level of experience. 😁

> Call the prev week to confirm a same-day inspection and possibly fix > Come in today, "We'll get it looked at in a couple hours" Go to the library because I live 15 mins away. > 2 hours later, no call > 4 hours later, no call > I call them "There are a couple cars ahead of you. It'll be a couple hours." > 2 hours later, I go in "There are a couple cars ahead of you." If they're not accurate with the timeframe or don't communicate with me on this, what else will they do? I asked for my keys back and am heading home now.

I have found Muffler Man to be honest in their evaluation of my cars. Always competitive pricing and they don’t over sell you on repairs. I have even received a “nothings wrong” evaluation and paid nothing. Refreshing!

Just skip this place. Talked to them a few months ago on our lot truck ($1000 Dodge) nothing special. Someone cut our cats off, we called and they recommended buying cats and mufflers online to save money (great advice cost me $100 for 2 cats and 2 mufflers) then we finally made the appointment to get the truck repaired and "We can't install customer supplied parts" I explained that they had recommended this course of action and the manager said well, too bad we can't do it, I asked why? They said we cant stand behind it, told them I'd sign a no warranty waiver, nope, too bad. They did get bought out, but I dont think this relieves their blame for what should've been an easy job. We've used them in the past and they always did great work. I think it was Ken? Really nice guy. Now it's Chris, and he's awful. Won't be back.

Love the new team here at Muffler Man in Portage! I swung in to book an oil change for a different day and they actually squeezed me in that minute between appointments. Really reasonable prices with no pushy upcharge, friendly and efficient service, and they even went out of their way to try and complete a minor fix that I had jimmied myself. I’ll be seein you guys again, thanks for the great service

had an appointment for a quote for my exhaust and they offered to fix it on the spot for a great price. friendly staff and waiting room was nice and clean, also was able to fix my car in a timely manner! staff did not pressure me into buying additional things for my car which I very much appreciate as a young woman with limited car knowledge.

Many shops have really raised the cost of an oil change, but true to their word, Muffler Man will give you a quick, efficient oil change for only $30.00. I walked in one day and they changed my oil without an appointment.
