The first time I went in, he kept me waiting without acknowledging me for 20 minutes while he was on a personal phone call. Didn't even look at me sitting 5 feet away. I should've left then and there. He Inspected the car and then complained about how the headlight was secured (there had been an accident). When I secured the headlight myself and brought it back in to get the sticker, he grabbed it with his hands and forcefully pulled it out and said my repair was no good and refused to pass the inspection, *yelling* at me and saying that cops would see the light shaking and pull me over and then HE would get in trouble.

Charged me $1000 dollars for a double wheel bearing replacement. $350 per bearing plus $200 labor. After the fact I saw that I could order two wheel bearings for my vehicle for $150. I'm not sure if someone screwed Mike but I definitely paid for it.

SCAM ARTIST! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Told us it would be a "3 day repair" and then had our van for over THREE MONTHS while refusing to answer phone or return calls. Whenever we DID get ahold of him it was alaways someone ELSES fault that the work wasnt done. Lied constantly about the insurance not getting back to him despite us having been cc'd on emails showing that they DID get back to him. When confronted about this, became VIOLENT and began threatening us, screaming and getting in our faces in front of our children. This man should be in prison, not fixing peoples cars.

The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. The work took over 6 weeks to complete despite him originally saying it was a "two day job". It was excuse after excuse as to why it wasn't done. This guy does not deserve anyone's business.

I called this place multiple times to get my car door fixed. Every time I called it was always MY fault as to why he hadn’t called me. At one point he told me to bring my car on a certain day and when I brought it he said “it’s 3 o’clock. We close at 5 I can’t get you in now you should have come at 8am.” Well a professional owner would tell me to bring my car at 8am. Don’t waste your time or energy on this place.

Mike is amazing: he is honest, knowledgeable, and looks out for his customers. He has kept our older vehicle running the last 5 years for less, sourcing used parts, warranties, etc to get us the best deal. He’s the mechanic you’ve been looking for! Small shop so that does require some flexibility on timing.

Reasonable prices and good service. Doesn’t waste your time, and good turn around. Small shop right in the morningside neighborhood. Don’t listen to all the reviews talking about rudeness, I don’t understand what they are talking about.

Pretty sure the negative reviews here are fake. Mike has taken care of ALL our personal and business vehicles for at least 15 years. I trust him immensely, and that is PRICELESS when finding a mechanic. He has never EVER told us we needed something we did not need. If Mike can't fix it, it either can't be fixed or isn't worth fixing.
