Written for my BF: Horrible location, rude techs, & overpriced is all you need to know. Once a frequent customer, but I now will find another location. Been going here since I moved to Texas (approx 6yrs). Today I went in for what I thought was a simple fix, a slow leak. I was initially told $25; already overpriced as most places charge $5-15; but I was familiar with what I thought was quality work, so I said ok, even though my gf told me to try another place. I was told to wait because the tech was busy - then another tech came took my wheel off & came to back to say my rim was bent. I asked how much the repair would be, I was quoted $400 (overpriced again, I've gotten previous rims fixed for $100). I asked about a used tire, was told $80 (I could've gotten a new tire from another place for that price). I asked if the tire still needed a patch, the new dude said yes, I said $25 right, he said no $50. I went to the orig tech & questioned the price, he said "a rim patch is $50, a tire is $25". None of which was disclosed to me before they took my tire or during the 15min wait it took before they even got to me. They then said "well the tire doesn't need a patch, just the rim" when I again asked if the tire still needed a patch. I declined both services, then was told $15 for taking the tire off. I instantly got upset because I was quoted multiple prices & now was being charged for them to remove the tire just to figure out how bad the slow leak was. They are in consistent with pricing bc prior reviews advised they were only charged $10 when work was declined. I then went in to pay the stupid fee & was charged $1.64 due to using a card & when the receptionist asked what I had done, I said nothing. I then questioned what they were charging me for & she couldn't answer. A complete waste & still have to go elsewhere to have my rim fixed. BEWAREEEEE!

If you want to be over charged and your tires installed and balanced for 70 dollars each go here. So many other places better than this. Don’t let them scam you.

Not only did I get a great deal but I was in and out with 4 new tires in under 15 minutes. Amazing!! Thank you Montoyas for the stellar service.

Stopped in to get a tire fixed(nail). I'm from Michigan and I looked them up and read the reviews. They didn't disappoint. Was in and out very fast.

Customer was rude ! Mad because I didn’t want to buy there tire $300 when I get them for $200 , first they changed me $30 for a patch then it went up to $40 after I declined the tire! Goofy place , do not recommend or going back !!! There’s a tire shop down the street , cheaper price and they actually want to work for you with great customer service!

Came in with a flat tire tried to charge me $100 for a used tire. Guess they thought I was a lick. Went to royal tire down the street and paid half the price

Horrible tires shop brought brand new tires they only last 6 months. Don't waste ur money go to Walmart buy them yourself and let someone in south dallas put them on for cheap. You save money and they last longer

Was pleasantly surprised at how quick and efficient the crew at this location was. I called a couple locations and Montoya had the highest price for the replacement of my TPMS sensor. I went to a different location first and even though I had the wheel off the vehicle and the new sensor in my possession it was still going to be a 30-minute wait. I drove back over to Montoya I was in and out within 8 minutes. However it did cost me a few dollars more. The experience was worth it and I do not regret going back.

Prices are different every day, patch a tire for $25-$40 depending how they feel like charging…. Any other place is like $15-$25. Be careful they will ask for cash first!!! If not it will be more expensive plus tax and card fees….. You’re welcome guys! ;)

Debí ver visto los Reviews! Solo quería cambiar mi llanta de mi tractor y fueron muy irrespetuosos diciéndome que tenia que quitar la llanta pero no en la propiedad porque el señor Agustín Montoya no lo permitía y regresar y ellos solo así podían a ser el servicio. Me deje ir a una llantera ala vuelta llamada Royal Tires sin problema me cambiaron las 2 llantas y a un muy buen precio! Que decepción de tener jente sin preparación de servicio al cliente y al igual terminen diciendo que el señor Montoya no lo permite. Negocio es negocio por mínimo el trabajo el señor Montoya va querer dar el mejor servicio al cliente! Recuerden que su checke viene del cliente no del patron.

I've used this shop for several years. Beautiful plants. Great place to JUST replace tires. That's it. Replaced my breaks. 2 weeks later, I need breaks and roaters. Great pricing for labor they didn't do well with explaining what is needed, so 2 weeks later, I need the service done again, breaks pulsing, and scrubbing.... $200 in labor isn't money I have laying around to repeat a job that wasn't done correctly the first time.

Muy mal no recomiendo esta mugre de Negocio. El que está de encargado es una Mugre. La semana pasada acudí a parchar una llana. Y el encargado de negó a parcharla Según el por qué la llanta ya estaba muy gastada y así no podía arreglarla. Obviamente este 1mbec1l. Pensó que le iva a comprar una llanta nueva. Jajajjaa. Si pueden ahorrarse el disgusto. Mejor no vallan

No stars! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! In every sense of the word! If you can help it, I would recommend you not stop here! For your own good. They are seeing people in need and taking advantage of them!!! NEVER in the history of tire shops have I EVER paid $80 for a USED tire!! But I guess because it was raining today, they just needed to recoup on some cash. Today I was faced with what you call "Highway Robbery"!!! This business will never truly flourish with you cheating people and getting over on them in their time of need! Again, if you can avoid having to stop here and can make it to another place, you should do so.

I fail to understand the negative ratings. Able is an excellent mechanic and extremely reasonably priced. I had him install tie-rod ends which of course resulted in the need to align the front end. Total bill was well over $100 less than what I would have paid to our regular mechanic shop. I will be returning to Able! EDITED 6/7/2014 I have to drop to 1 star for Montaya himself and his tire policies. Montoya sold me 4 tires over the course of a few months. He stood and told me when I purchased the second set of two that, "The manufacturer of these tires do not prorate. Full road hazard for life of the tire and they are 60k mile tires." He also told me, "With all four being our tires, free rotation". Well, guess what? He either lied through his teeth or changed policy. I came after around 5k miles for rotation - they wanted to charge me $30. Of course, Montoya was nowhere to be found. Now I get a flat due to debris from the recent storm so I go back. They want $20 if it can be patched. Nope! The hole is too close to the sidewall so they want another $100 if I want a new tire. Again, Montoya nowhere to be found. I strongly objected to the one English-speaking man and he just about told me I was lying, that Montoya would have never said that. Also, when you buy from this place you get nothing but a receipt for how much you paid - nothing about any warranty or whatever. Lesson learned - if it isn't in writing, don't trust ANYONE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I'm going to Mike's Tire. Prices are better ($94 for new tire, obviously your car/truck may be different) and no double-talk. Gently used tires are $45. Given the very positive reviews of Mike's, I anticipate a much better outcome.

I got an emergency on the road and they took advantage of the situation . Sold me a BAD used tite for $75 dollars. They want it me to pay cash so they can keep The money and not report the sale, eeven suggest to go to the ATM machine and get cash to pay them. BE ALERT WITH THIS BUSSINESS

Pésimo servicio lleve a reparar una llanta que tenía más de un 70% de vida útil, y me salió un pitufo a decirme que la llanta está mala, que ellos me la pueden vender..!! Vine a otro lugar cercano, y rápido la repararon..!! NO LOS RECOMIENDO

Tengan mucho cuidado con que no les vean la cara en este shop , empezaron super bien pero ahora cuestionen los precios y comparelos con otras llanteras , 40 por una parchada .. enserio?? Y fíjense bien que pongan bien sus tapas , fui a que me arreglaran una llanta y llegue sin tapa a mi destino.

Terrible place to go to, I spent $80 on a tire here and it lasted me 10 days before a bubble started bulging out the side wall, I have rarely been driving my car before and they say they can’t do anything about it. Not only do they wanna charge me for a whole new used tired but also charge me to help put my spare on. They don’t care about anyone but a quick buck. I’d be careful getting anything done from this place
