I’ve been going to Monte and Sons for the past 3 years with no regrets. Pete and Rick!!! They’re pretty much my uncles now! They kept my old van (2005 Chrysler town in country) alive way past its life expectancy! RIP Lucious the Van) by giving me neat tips and tricks on now to keep the old guy running. So thoughtful and informative! I recommend them to all of my friends ✨

The service that I receive from Rick and Pete is always top notch! They’ve been servicing my vehicle for the past few years and my only gripe is that I wish i knew about Monte & Sons sooner! If you’re looking for reliable, friendly and professional mechanics, Monte & Sons is the place to go.

I had a wonderful experience at Monte & Sons Auto Repair this morning! From the moment I made the phone call to the completion of the service, everything was handled with care and professionalism. The staff took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me, making sure I understood what needed to be done and why. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy auto repair! I will definitely be back :D

My former mechanic retired and I had been searching for a new car repair shop. I tried several other places, but Monte and Sons was definitely the best experience. Reasonably priced, efficient, and honest. Definitely recommend!

I just called regarding my car heating system and whoever answered the phone was RUDE and condescending! So nope I don’t recommend ! Because if that’s the level of customer service they provide I don’t want it !

I've been going to Monte & Sons Auto Repair for years. A great family business that I feel are great at what they do. They work with you In regards to getting your car repaired at really reasonable pricing Will try there best to fit you in last minute if you have a emergency situation with your car. If your looking for a good Repair shop I highly recommend. This is a very kind and honest business.

Monte & Son do a very good job in fixing and repairing my vehicle for the last 3 years. They even were able to perform some minor body work for me last year when I had a fender bender. I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. So I know that getting parts for my vehicle is increasingly difficult. However they continue to come through. My one negative is that they must answer the phone when being called. Also returning messages when left on their answering machine..

This is a very well run repair shop. The level of communication with customers is remarkable. Atmosphere is pleasant and professional. Have found the work to be top notch and fairly priced. Highly recommend Monte and Sons.

10 years ago, I found Monte’s on google when I needed a tire fixed. They were more than willing to take on this tiny job and will a smile! I’ve been taking my cars and trucks ever since. The work is high quality and they never talk down to anyone.

I am purchasing a used vehicle and wanted Monte & Sons to check it out for me. They went over that vehicle with care and professionalism. I got a complete report on the condition of the car and a prioritized listing of what will need attention and when. All this for a very reasonable price!

My dad was a mechanic so he always fixed up my car, but since moving to a different state, I needed to find a reliable and honest shop to work on my car. I’m so glad I discovered Monte’s! Hands down they do excellent work and provide fantastic customer service! For context, my boyfriend and I took our cars to Monte’s for inspection. The inspection was affordable and Monte’s provided paperwork and quotes for the necessary repairs to pass. Some of the work I could do myself, so I asked if I could pick the cars back up, do the work and come back for the inspection. Mechanic shops typically have a bad rep, so I was expecting them to be standoffish and unkind about doing my own repairs, but they were so friendly, understanding and just cool with it. It was a nice breath of fresh air, especially being someone who gets really anxious about these types of things. It’s also uncomfortable going from my father doing all the work on the car to then trusting strangers. But Monte’s really provided a comfortable experience. I fixed up the cars, scheduled the re-inspection and brought them back to Monte’s. Inspection passed and back on the road in no time. Some weeks later, the tire on my boyfriend’s car got messed up and we took the car back to Monte’s since we had such a great experience. Then, a month or so later my car wouldn’t start. I knew I could rely on Monte’s to get the job done, so I dropped the car off, they thoroughly checked it out, and fixed it right up. Needless to say, you can rely on Monte’s for you car needs and they’ll take care of it.

In the past, with getting oil changes and inspections this place has been fine. A little pricey but they get the job done. Recently, I had to have some more extensive work done, and I went back twice with the same issue. Each time, they replaced a new expensive part and the day after getting it back, the same issue persisted. The last time this happened, I called yet again to bring it back in and they have not returned my multiple calls. After talking with a neighbor who is a mechanic, it’s become quite clear that they replaced parts that were entirely unnecessary. In addition to this, they put cheap oil in my car that would’ve eventually ruined the engine. Aside from these issues, they can be very condescending and demeaning—especially towards femme presenting people. Back in January, after I was told that my brake pads needed to be replaced, I asked whether it was urgent or could be put off for a few weeks and they responded “the brakes are what make the car stop”. This is just one of the many condescending statements that I tried my best to ignore. They might be more decent towards men or people that can just throw money at their problems, but if you are a woman, a queer person, or not doing the best financially- DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!

This is a wonderful family owned business, which makes a huge difference. The owners are friendly, honest and great at what they do! I trust them and go fairly far from my neighborhood for that along with great service and skill. Thank you Rick and Pete. I appreciate you!
