Montang Body Shop is an established body shop in Council Bluffs that recently changed ownership to Tim Varn. Tim has been in the auto body business for 28 years. Our goal is to provide high quality repairs in a timely manner. We provide high quality customer service throughout the repair process through phone and email with our vehicle owners. I will never go anywhere else. The speed, the price, the customer service was the very best. I wasn’t planning on having to find an auto body shop, but I was recommended this place by someone in the O’Reilly parking lot and they said the owner was an honest standup guy. They were right. I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen.

I needed body work done on my new car after someone backed into me. I contacted Montang’s on a recommendation from a friend. I met with the owner, Tim. He was great to work with and handled most every detail with the insurance adjuster. My repair was done in a timely manner and when promised. I was very happy with the repair and it looks like new again! Tim has earned my business and I will refer friends to him for any future repairs. I highly recommend this very clean and well run repair shop!

Won't help with an estimate for restitution from a drunk driver. Has no regard for victims of drunk drivers. I'm here from Texas to visit a hospitalized relative with a near-fatal stroke.

I have to say that Montang is the best place that I have ever taken a vehicle to. The shop is extremely clean and organized! The staff is very professional, friendly, and all around amazing! I’m so happy I found them because they went above and beyond! Thank you for the amazing service, and I will tell everyone I know!!

Damaged my bumper, and wheel well, and spoiler on my car in the last snow storm. Since I use my car for work, I needed it back on the road, and safe, and looking right ASAP. I took it in for an estimate, and left with an appointment for service in less than 10 minutes on the basis of that estimate. The dealer gave me an oppressive estimate that included replacing the bumper, wheel well, and spoiler. And painting, because replacement bumper. Montang was able to save my existing bumper, which cut the cost of the job very significantly, in just a few hours too. The dealer was going to take days and cost way more. I was treated very well, and everything went smoother than I could have hoped for. Very easy to work with, and very flexible. He even stayed late for me to pick up and pay. All told, one of the best experiences I've had with a body shop, and I can assure you I will return when I bust up something else.

Took over a month for them to not even fix something they installed incorrectly the first time. Re-used old no good parts. Rude to other customers, especially younger or old people. Careless effort. Vehicles are not safe in their gravel storage lot, my once nice f250 now has scratches all down the side. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. July 23, 2018
