I recently visited Monroe Tires and had an excellent experience! I purchased four new tires, got an alignment, and even received a free oil change. I’ve been coming to this location for years. Bri and her team are always honest, kind and respectful. She and her team always demonstrate proficient knowledge of issues I’ve had with my car and I have never felt taken advantage of. This is always my go to place for car repairs.

Me and my family was customers at this location for a long time but we had to leave, there was so many reasons and cept giving them chances to make things right and turn around what they did but we had to leave after the last experience we had there. We had a van that we loved taking to the beach with and we took it for a look over and told them to test the battery, brakes and rotors and to do a oil change. After picking it up we always take it to auto zone and I do a free battery check and other stuff myself. Someone definitely messed up because they said everything was good but when I checked the battery it was a bad battery. I checked it right after I picked it up from this location, dont know how somebody can mess this up like that and I definitely suggest somewhere else. They failed to do a simple car battery check. I worked on cars for years for my family members by replacing parts and fixing there cars and I'm only 25 and have been working on cars since I was 5 or 6 and the first thing I learned is how to check a battery and to jack up and replace a tire. Definitely embarrassing for them

Took my car into this place on 10/23/2024. I called and told them I was referred to the by their sister shop in Dormont that told me that I could possibly need a replacement of my power steering pump and serpentine belt. I was quoted from 1400 and it would be done same day. I was called later on that day same date and was told that they had ordered all wrong parts and that instead of me picking my car up today as originally planned I could retrieved my car on 10/24/2024 instead. On 10/24/2024 Upon arrival I seen that one of my tires was low causing my car to be tilted backward like it had a flat tire, I started the car, turned the wheel and still with the same problem as I had. I explained to the manager that it looks like my tire needs air and why wasn’t I recommended to get a new one. She said it was “her bad about that” and that it was a mistake. I paid my bill and started my car. First thing, I noticed that the mileage never left its original count as it did when I took it in. Next thing, was my dash lights were still on and my steering wheel was still the same as I took it in. I explained to manager that my car wasn’t right. She told that they do a basic inspection of the car and since I didn’t ask for a diagnosis, I didn’t get one and they just did the work I asked. My mind was completely blown away. I asked her could I speak to the mechanic who worked on my car and he came out with so much hostility and aggression I was very nervous and uncomfortable talking to him. He explained how he fixed the power steering pump and serpentine belt. I asked did he take it for a test drive after and he stated he went “around the block”. He walked away very angrily after and dismissive. I then asked the manager could she put some air in my tire and asked her why was he so aggressive and mean, she says “oh that’s just how mechanics are”. That’s not okay, not professional and very rude. I told her I would’ve paid for the diagnosis had I know I wasn’t getting one and also reminding her I just paid $1400 to get my car fixed, another $150 or whatever it would’ve costed wasn’t going to break my bank. She said that I could bring my car in tomorrow for a full diagnosis and she would waive the fee but after all of the hostility I told her that I was not comfortable leaving my car their and having it serviced. She then told me that the shop in Dormonts mechanic didn’t know what he was talking about and misdiagnosed my car. I had enough and was extremely upset with the customer service I received and I 100% believe it was a race issue. I did not receive an apology for the mechanics behavior or for the misunderstandings. I left the shop and went back to Dormont location and asked the mechanic could he please look at my car again. He looked at the car and let me know that my power steering hose corroded out was supposed to be replaced in addition to the power steering pump. I called the shop back and was told that I could take it another Monroe to get power steering hose replaced and that they would be back billed. I called the Crafton location and was told that my issue would have to resolved by Audi. I called the shop back (that did the service) and let her know I went back to the shop I was originally diagnosed at and that my power steering hose should’ve been replaced with the pump. She started talking over me very loudly saying why did I go back to that shop if they misdiagnosed me. Overall, The energy was very high dry when I retrieved my car and not welcoming. I felt like they just wanted to get my money and get me in and out. They continuously talked loudly and over me while I was trying to explain why I didn’t understand why wasn’t my car working properly and why wasn’t a full inspection and diagnosis done. I will never return to this location and am writing to corporate as well. Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers does a courtesy inspection and they failed to tell me that I needed a new tire. I had taken my car to a previous Monro location before this one and they were amazing! I tried out this location and I will never be going back. My experience started when I took my car in for an inspection when i walked in I was ignored for a few minutes and treated as a "bother" for dropping my car off. A few hours later I got a call that "the mechanic highly recommends a new battery, cabin air filter and left front axel". I declined the services and asked for clarification on what was going on with the axel and all they said was it was popping and my car failed inspection because of it. I asked the price for the replacement and labor and when I heard it would come out to almost $900 total I didn't feel comfortable especially since I could not get any clarification as to what they exactly meant and what the issue was since all they just kept saying was it was popping. I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere. When I went to pick up my car I noticed 2 mechanics, the one was working and the other was distracted on her phone, blowing off the receptionist when being asked for information that I had requested and all the mechanic did was roll her eyes, wave a hand and walk away after having to show the paperwork. Ironically this paperwork contraindicated what they were saying over the phone in regards to the location of "the issue" along with how much it all would truly cost (it would have been more than what they originally told me). After this I took my car to other experienced people (I had probably 4 people look at my car for the problem Monro was stating it had) and they all had said there is nothing wrong and my car ended up passing inspection no problem. Overall my experience made me feel uneasy.

This Monroe store has made me a lifetime customer with their professionalism. I’m never looking forward to car troubles but I know I will always be taken care of here.

My recent experience at Monro as a first time customer was excellent. The team there is friendly and knowlegeable. They worked quickly and efficiently on my car and got me on the road in no time- new tires, alignment, oil change, etc - I highly recommend.

Never received a call that my car was done. I had to walk in and ask after seeing it sitting in their parking lot for almost an hour. I also had to replace 2 over the valve caps as they were missing after 4 brand new tires were installed.

Went to this location for a brake job and the service was fast and efficient. Everyone who I met at that was very understanding and patient with me. Most importantly, I didn't feel like I was getting upsold or anything, very straightforward and respectable service

What a wonderful place to do business. The lobby was filled with loyal women customers. It was equally impressive to watch Brianna replace my rotors and brake. The manager (Brianna) and her colleagues were beyond professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. How refreshing to see women and men working seamlessly in a male dominated milieu. Came in for a simple oil change. The technician did a complementary check and found that my brakes were low and I was on the verge of causing irreparable damage to my drivetrain. Saved me an arm and a leg not to mention the cost of a new transmission. TLDR great service friendly staff would come back any day.

Definitely recommend! We used to go to an expensive dealership (colussey in bridgeville). But they had long wait times and something always broke soon after a visit. We switched to Monro when we needed unexpected service on a weekend. They were way better (and cheaper). Our car has never run better since coming here. The store manager is super helpful and the service crew knows what they are doing.

I have had multiple great experiences with this Monro going back almost 2 years, however today takes the cake. I was doing an oil change and had a pretty big bone head moment where I drained my transmission and caused some serious damage. I brought my car in to them immediately and they were able to refill the trans fluid for me to see so I could drive it and see if everything was ok. Long story short, it wasn't. Today they put a new transmission in it same day and came in almost exactly on point for their quote (which was huge for such an expensive repair). The team here is great, they communicate quickly and courteously, and I wont be bringing my vehicle anywhere else for repair and upkeep. They have done inspections, breaks, bearings, and a transmission install for me, and I am fairly certain there are other small things as well. 10/10 excellent shop.
