Very disappointed. Have had excellent service over the years, but feel like my business was not valued at all in recent transaction. My car needed a new tire. Nick asked me to come in Saturday morning to get it replaced. Arrived and he told me the wrong tire had been sent over. Said they could get the correct tire and replace it Monday evening. As I had obligations, I asked the latest I could arrive. He asked me to be there by 5pm. Arrived 5pm, Nick had gone for the day, Derek had no idea why I was there. No tire, no information from Nick. Derek could not reach him. He asked me to return the next day, said the job would take a half hour. Arrived 5pm the next day, job took over an hour. As a result, I had to postpone my obligations at 6pm. Because of someone's mistake, my wife and child had to drive around on a faulty tire for three extra days, I had to rearrange my schedule twice to get this job done, and then had to postpone additional obligations because my job was not made a priority when I arrived on Tuesday evening. I will not bring my business to this establishment again. UPDATE 12/8: Nick called me and apologized for what happened and offered a way to make up for my lost time and anguish. I very much appreciate the gesture and restitution, and the commitment to customer service. I feel valued as a patron again and will continue to come to this Monro for my auto needs. UPDATE: For some reason, I am unable to write another review. Good job google. So I'll just edit my original review with a new development: I had an issue changing my driver's side headlight and ended up breaking the connector from the bulb. As a result, there was little left from the bulb to get it out and I feared I'd damaged the apparatus. Alex helped me out greatly by extricating the broken blub stem from the socket and installing the new bulb, and assured me the connector would still function. He wouldn't accept any payment for it. I even offered to grab him some food to show my gratitude, but he just asked for a good review on google. Thanks again to Alex and Monro for helping me out so expeditiously.

That manager Alex really knows his stuff. Makes, models, quirks and common problems. He nailed the alignment and balance on my caddy and gave me good solid advice and ideas on other problems I brought up and was happy to go into details and potential causes. Very knowledgeable like a freaking encyclopedia. I highly recommend. Yes he has a Russian accent but dont worry, I dont think hes going to try to hack our elections. Whatever it is management is paying him- double it! It is impossible these days to find, much less retain, competent employees. Kudos!

Scam Alert: Avoid This Company! (Update 12/22/24) ***UPDATE 12/22/24: The company reached out to me after my initial experience, and I spoke with an associate named Alex. He explained that the North Port location is temporarily closed on Sundays due to staffing issues until the New Year. I also noticed significant discrepancies between the call center and the store regarding hours and inventory, and when I returned on Tuesday, the system still showed incorrect information. Additionally, when I arrived at the store, the tires I had ordered were out of stock, and I was initially quoted tires that were much more expensive than expected. However, Alex went above and beyond to resolve the situation. He quickly corrected the pricing error and made sure the exact tires I was originally quoted were delivered and installed by Thursday, despite the logistical challenges. Thanks to Alex's exceptional professionalism, attentiveness, and commitment to customer service, he turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. While the company clearly has some operational issues, Alex’s outstanding service has earned my trust, and I would absolutely return because of him. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (12/15/2024) I recently had a very concerning experience with a business at their North Port Washington location. Here's what happened: - I made an appointment for noon on December 15, 2024, which I received a confirmation email and text for. - I arrived at 11:55 AM to find the store appeared to be open: all the lights were on, and two cars were parked outside. However, the front door to the lobby was locked, and no one was inside. - Looking through the garage, I saw that the lights were on, but there wasn't a single person around. A sign on the door said they were open until 5 PM, including a neon glowing fluorescent Open sign, lit and turned on. - At 12:20 PM, I called the Brookfield location. They said the manager was busy with customers and promised to call me back. - It's now 12:47 PM, and I still haven’t received a call back, and there’s still no one at the North Port location. - As I was about to leave, another customer arrived for a 1 PM appointment, and I informed him that no one was there. He left immediately. This situation raises serious concerns. The appointment system seems fraudulent, and it appears that this business is not reliable or trustworthy. Do not use this company — their appointment system is a scam, and they don't honor scheduled times! Be cautious and save your time and money! ** update: it is now 1:33pm and I still have not received a callback from the Brookfield location Service Manager.
