Super helpful people. I wouldn't say same day but prices were reasonable and they went above and beyond. They did the back and front breaks for us when we only asked for the front to be done. We did have the back breaks in the back of the vehicle because we were planning on doing them ourselves but they took the initiative. Super cool shop!

I was in a real tight spot when I brought my car in. I couldn’t drive my vehicle anywhere else due to loosing power. I walked into their office and was greeted professionally by both mechanics. I am younger so not being what feels like taken advantage of at a mechanic shop is a great change to what I’m used to. They ordered my parts and before I could have my buddy pick me up the parts arrived and they were under the hood of my vehicle. I was able to speak with the owner on the phone for updates on my vehicle and was always nice to me on the phone. I unfortunately arrived later than they were open and called the owner and he let me take my vehicle to drive around and get to school in the morning before paying which I respected a lot. I brought my vehicle over the next day happy to pay the shop and it ended up being less than I was expecting compared to my other experiences at shops near by. Overall this whole experience was refreshing compared to what I was used to. Thanks again to this great crew - Victor

Andy was very supportive when I recently had a tire close to exploding. All of the other shops said a polite no due to not having the tire I needed and due to the upcoming holiday. Andy went out of his way to find used tires on Facebook and we were planning to coordinate a time to install those tires on my car. Thankfully, another local tire shop called with a full new set that I got instead but having someone understand your situation and truly try their best to help? That meant a lot to me. People don’t and cannot plan their car issues around holidays Bozeman! Thanks again Andy!

This place earns a star for getting my vehicle running, when the alternator failed on a busy holiday weekend. However, they promised to put in a new alternator, not a reman (remanufactured) one. I had this conversation with Andy a couple of times to ensure it would be a new one, and he said that they don't use remans because they are not reliable. But then they installed a reman into my vehicle anyway withouth telling me. When I arrived to pickup the vehicle, Christian, told me that it was a new alternator from Napa. I asked to see the invoice from Napa, and he couldn't find it. I requested that he get a copy of the invoice and send it to me. He did that a few days later, and sure enough it was a reman, not a new one--a cheap, poorly rated one from O'Reilly. Plus, they charged me far more for the part than it actually cost them. Additionally, while they were doing the work, Andy called to say that it would take 4 hours of labor to do the install, because, he said, they would have to remove the water pump. I do most of my own work on my vehicle, but did not have the tools or time for this job, as I was working that weekend. I knew that this was not true and called him out on that. He then admitted that it was only the steering pully that needed to be removed--a pretty simple, quick, job if you have the right tools. At least they only charged me 2 hours of labor. They had the car ready to go by late morning, but didn't bother to call me until just before closing. The car started squeeling from either the belt not being tensioned correctly, or the reman alternator, but they were closed on Sunday and I was out of town for the next 10 days. They did say they would fix the situation and install a new Toyota alternator for me--which I had to order--when I got back into town. Now they refuse to return my calls or text messages. If you desperately need service in a pinch on a weekend, than I guess this may is your only option, but beware they will likely try to scam you, as well. Do your homework while you are waiting for you vehicle. I have attached the invoices, from Car Smart, which is this company, and the invoice for the alternator from O'Reilly--by the way, they get the core charge of $40 back, when they return the original alternator (the core) to O'Reilly, so they charged me $289 for a $161 alternator. They will likely try to claim that they don't have a customer with my name, which they do on all other bad reviews. But the invoices don't lie.

would encourage Andy to call me if he would like this review taken down, as he does have record of my dealings with him, happy to give transaction history as well. My dealings with him are 27 months ago, in response to his 24 month no record history (seems convenient). To say the owner doesn’t deal with the day to day operations is ridiculous, he’s literally the guy who answered the phone and who I dropped my truck off with. The following review is from me, an actual customer. Took in my Ford F-150 for a misfiring code, Andy was able to get me in and diagnose me vehicle very quickly which I was very appreciative of. He even offered me a rental vehicle if I did the full vehicle repair through him. My truck needed new heads so it was going to take a while. I gladly accepted and dropped off my truck for the repair soon afterwards Here’s where it gets bad. Dropped off my vehicle where upon drop off promised to find me a vehicle in his fleet to rent, next day said they were completely booked out all summer all of a sudden and referred me to rent from somewhere else which was going to be expensive. Such a bummer but whatever, I moved on. Checked in on the repair a few times and they waited quite a while to even start on my truck, a week and a half or so. Then asked again and they said they took it somewhere else for some work, he had mentioned remanufacturing the heads so I wasn’t worried. Then needed something off my set of keys so went in person to retrieve them. I was then informed my truck was completely pawned off to a different shop for the repair… without warning. I then contact the new mechanics and even they were confused, they thought Andy was paying them for the work when Andy now wanted nothing to do with the truck. I then had to start over with the new mechanics increasing the repair time even more as they were much busier than Andy. Eventually once repair was done with new mechanics I found out Andy and his partner Drew broke off every plastic ignition boot plug in which I had replaced 5 out of 8 before Andy saw it, and head ZIPTIED the plugs back on. Tried contacting Andy and was ghosted day after day, his WIFE eventually talked to me and his partner Drew admitted to breaking them and ziptieing them. Drew the Wife and I agreed that they would pay for 8 new plugs and same day shipping so I could fix them myself as I had done before. When I show up for payment Drew tried arguing his way out of paying me for every single plug that he broke and the same day shipping, I told him his was insane for even asking me and he asked me not to name him in a review, well too bad. Don’t deal with Andy, he’s non-communicative and shady, he takes advantage of those who know less about cars. He offered me $500 of free labor and refunded me the $120 diagnostic fee as a result of the whole debacle. I’m not going to use that $500. Sounds like he doesn’t offer those kinds of resolutions when you make a 1-star review so let’s see if he takes away mine.

Absolutely fabulous service from this team! They did a full inspection on a car before I purchased it and caught several issues. Very impressed with the level of detail and exceptional customer service. Will be back!

Highly recommend! I knew these guys were slammed (as well as most repair shops in the area). I made a call and left a message as to my predicament (broke down on a Friday in a hotel parking lot, attempting to continue my vacation travel). I stayed overnight after my efforts failed. Received a call after my efforts to get my late model Chevy Impala started. Was told he, or anyone else, would not be able to travel until Monday. With that being said, he did offer up solid advice after we discussed steps I had taken to make repair on my late model Chevy Impala. After getting the part, which turned out to be a fairly easy fix, for most anyone with mechanical abilities, I was back in busines an hour after install. I appreciate the fact that, not only are the mobile techs knowledgeable, but they are sympathetic to the needs of someone who wants to keep their vacation moving. Thanks!

NO NEED TO CALL AROUND! A++ Service. Call them now they were great! I was stuck in Montana and no one was available and everyone seemed overpriced l. Not these guys. These guys got me in Same Day, price was reasonable and they stayed until 10pm to get it done. Got me back on the road and gave me a car to use while mine was getting fixed. Best mechanic shop I've ever been too. They took pictures, showed me very clearly the problem, did not try to upsell me on things I didn't need, straight up crew. I would recommend these guys to everyone.

This is a great place. The people who work here are very competent. The owner goes out of his way to try to get you back on the road and even gives you a loaner car if it would take too long to do the repairs. Great service cheapest place in Bozeman.

This place is trash. I had to tell them how to run a code and after a week and a half they called to tell me they didn’t know anything and then still charged me for the hours they spent googling.

*BEWARE* the owner is mean, threatens, and blackmails people over real and honest GOOGLE REVIEWS!!! It happened to me. He did no work to my car, ignored me, and lied to me for 4 days. I was told verbally in person and in written text I am free to go and take my car for *free* (so that’s what I did), NO CHARGE!! ZERO! NOTHING WAS CHARGED WHEN I DROVE AWAY WITH MY CAR! You can see in mine and Andy’s conversation below how he said there will be *no charge* and then later changed his mind after I already had left his establishment free of charge by him and his employees. He is literally trying to blackmail me because I left a one star review and immediately after emailed me a fake invoice. YOU CANT BLACKMAIL PEOPLE ANDY! If you want to show collections or a judge our text messages they will tell you what you are doing is ILLEGAL!

Andy and his team got me in and out within 24 hours I had a broken ball joint and got it towed it to him. Andy was very professional on the phone and reasonably priced he got me and estimate, a time frame with in 10 minutes, I’ll be using them again and again and can’t recommend them enough.

Hey Andy a word if I could…thanks…okay you keep saying these accounts are fake but I read the texts sent between you and this customer and I see you being shady period…looks like you could not take a bad review guess what…. people get good reviews and bad reviews so because she had a bad review for you you’re gonna threaten her you’re gonna charge her and then you’re gonna actually lie about her. The people that you keep saying are fake accounts are actual real people, sweetie… You just keep saying they’re fake because The truth of so many people sticking up for this woman is the PROOF so NO NOT A CUSTOMER bc I would never go to a place that takes advantage of young woman and lies about what he promised her.shame on you and your behavior and shame on you for thinking your a better person by lying to your customers on top of it…Just tell the truth.

REAL HONEST EXPERIENCE I cannot express just how terrible our experience with this place has been. They are an absolute disgrace to the industry and should not be allowed to operate. Not only did they fail to fix our vehicle properly, but they also continued to say they would fix it, “yep be ready tomorrow”. “Yeah we have it ready”. In fact did nothing to fix the problem. If you try to leave a negative review to warn others about their shady practices, they will threaten you and attempt to intimidate you into removing it. See other people saying the same thing. This mechanic is clearly only interested in making a quick buck off unsuspecting customers and has no regard for providing quality service or honest work. I strongly advise anyone considering taking their vehicle here to run as far away as possible. You will only be met with incompetence, exploitation, and threats if you dare to speak up against their unethical behavior. This is hands down the worst mechanic I have ever encountered. LOL AT THEM SAYING SPAM. NOT SPAM - just using an account they can’t blackmail. FahQ

This is not a scam or fake review. No I have not been a customer here, however I have friends and know a few others who have used this establishment & all of them are deeply unhappy. I feel I can still leave a review on their behalf. One friend of mine is being black mailed for leaving a 1 star review. The company said "take down your review or pay $400+ by the end of the day" for services that were not performed. If you don't want honest reviews then don't leave the option. Another friend of mine was ACTUALLY charged for services that were NEVER done! And got a vehicle back with a check engine light on when there wasn't one on when brought in & they refused service when they came back to get them to check the check engine light. Cars are expensive and getting them fixed is expensive. If you want it done right DO NOT GO HERE! They will not only over charge you, do the job wrong but also illegally black mail you after leaving them a 1 star review....

***After writing this review I was threatened with a libel suit and charged for work that was not completed. I was also told I would have a lien put on my vehicle if I did not pay the fees for the follow up that was never performed. This review is 100% true*** ***Note: I work out of town so I did not drive my vehicle until 3 weeks after I received the car the first time. I spoke with the mechanics onsite and they claimed they never had a chance to investigate the improper repair I brought my car in for a fuel pump repair, and had no check engine light on when my car was dropped off. Once the repair was complete it was returned to me with a check engine light on. The service was paid for even though the work was incomplete. I contacted management and scheduled a time to fix the issue and was told it would be completed the same day. No one called me or touched my vehicle for 3 days and my issue still exists. Management does not return my daily calls and texts for over a week, and they have no intent on resolving this issue, and no one is onsite for consultation when trying to visit in person. The timelines I was given for original completion were also half of what it actually took them to get the job done. This is the worst experience I have had with a mechanical service establishment ever and very unprofessional conduct. Do not take your vehicle here.

I truly cannot thank Andy enough for the work he did on my vehicle. He got me in and done in less than a week. He answered all my calls and was extremely patient. He explained everything he was doing in a way that I understood. He quoted me a price and even when it took longer than expected he still honored the original price. I had never taken my car here and found him when I had a car emergency. I will 100% be going back here. Thanks again!

This shop had my vehicle for 4 months, charged me for repairs that still aren’t fixed. Poor communication the entire time. Got my car back and had immediate electrical issues with the dash board and turn signals not working. My car was completely dead a day after getting it back and I was told via text multiple days in a row a mechanic would be out to fix the issues and nothing has happened.

We were traveling. My car broke down on Friday in Livingston and no shop was able to help until Monday morning, I couldn't wait thank God Garet from the towing company Refer me to You're shop. Andy was amazing and Going Out of his way to make sure that we were back on the road the next day. He helped with transportation and a place to stay. Talk to his word. His employees were very understanding worked hard to do the job as soonest Possible to make sure that we were back on the road. Thank you so much Andy, Leo and Michael you guys were awesome.!!!
