Charles is an excellent mechanic, and cool person as well! I really dislike dealing with all things car related and Charles made the experience easy, comfortable, and even fun! He is extremely knowledgeable, and taught me a lot of helpful things about my car. He listened to what I needed, and solved the problem at hand quickly. I highly recommend his services!

Charles was reliable, professional and did a great job on my Volvo battery replacement! It wasn't the right battery at first but he quickly figured it out and fixed the problem. Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Charles and his shop!

I used Charles to replace a dead battery on a weekend. The service was convenient but expensive. Fast forward 3 months, the car won’t start and the battery is the culprit. My regular mechanic tested the battery and determined it has a bad cell. Taking advantage of the battery’s warranty through Charles was going to be extremely inconvenient and expensive. I’d have to take out the battery, drive it to Charles and then pay for him to drive back out to replace it. I understand his time is money, but not a great customer experience when I already overpaid for the initial service. Just something to consider when you’re looking for a longer term relationship with a mechanic.

Called Charles for a pre-purchase inspection the morning of, and he got me into his schedule at a very reasonable price. He went independently to the dealer and quickly gave me all the details I needed over the phone. He even suggested a few items to ask for repair, which the dealer did for me. Highly recommend Mobile Auto Works.

Working with a mechanic is a universal stressful feat, with fear of being taken advantage of, and oftentimes given the runaround. I am happy to report Mobile Auto Works breaks that stigma. Thorough, direct and honest. 10/10 Recommend.

Their prompt and honest repairs, from brakes to electrical issues, were done at an affordable price. Charles is extremely knowledgeable and cares about doing a good job. He came out to diagnose my dead Ford Ranger. He got her running after a month sitting idle and we have a plan moving forward with maintenance and fine tuning. I would STRONGLY recommend this mechanic. Charles was great. Got a pre-purchase inspection. Came by right on time, checked out the car quickly, pointed out everything he found and explained it all comprehensively. He answered any questions I had in a very kind manner and offered further help in the future. Didn't even pay that much for a PPI. Setting an appointment was easy and quick. Give him a call before you set it online and it's even easier. I would definitely recommend MAW to anyone looking for a kind professional who knows what they're doing.

Charles came out to my house to give me a repair quote on my Jeep! He’s very knowledgeable, that much is obvious! However is is also extremely kind and took time to explain the repairs! I am scheduling the actual repair work next week, but thought a separate review on the estimate process was warranted!

Charles did an excellent job helping me with a pre-purchase inspection. He was on time, communicated well, and was very thorough in his work. He clearly communicated what he was checking, offered to teach a bit about what to look for, and took his time answering my questions. His advice and expertise paid for itself, would highly recommend him for any other pre-purchase inspections!

Don’t bother calling anyone else. This guy is top shelf. Fast, very knowledgeable, effective, professional, and considerate. If you need it done fast, right, and reasonably this is your mobile mechanic.

Gave me a used battery and over charged for the labor. Better off going to a real storefront that is established instead of worrying about getting ripped off. Keeps making excuses but his hustle is to sell used and old batteries in order to make a living.

I can't say enough appraise for Charles' work! He just saved me from buying into a long-lasting trouble with his thorough inspection. The car I was interested in is expensive and looked fantastic on the surface, but Charles' found out issues that made the car unsafe to drive. I dodged a bullet. Besides, talking on the phone, getting the report and pictures through text and email, convenient appointment online just make everything super efficient.

I've used Charles twice now for pre-purchase inspections, and both times he saved me from buying total lemons. He takes his time and goes over every inch of the car. He not only tells you everything that needs to be addressed, but he is able to give you estimates, and is able to break the news to the sellers politely. He is a well of knowledge, and is simply a great person along with being a great mechanic. He is very trustworthy and always has the customer's best interests in mind. His services are worth every penny, you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Charles!

Charles is AWESOME. I hired him to do a pre-purchase inspection, and he was incredibly meticulous, thorough, and patient with me as I asked what I'm sure were very stupid questions. He made sure I understood every aspect of the process and even went for a test drive with me as he gave me his run-down of the vehicle. In the end, I was able to get the price I wanted (even though this dealership was notorious for being "no haggle" and downright stubborn). It really helped having Charles in my corner, who is clearly passionate about what he does and is a genuine consumer advocate. You should definitely hire him if you are thinking of buying a car. Charles is honest, punctual and thorough. I used him for a used car pre purchase inspection. He sees things any buyer would miss with the naked eye. Gave me an honest opinion on if he’d purchase the truck and saved me about 3k. 100% would use his services again. I paid $200 all in. A bit of a premium compared to others, however, you get what you pay for. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust.

I had booked an appt. with yourmechanic.com and they cancelled because it was too difficult for them. I then booked with Charles @ Mobile Auto Works who gladly accepted. Charles came out and had the problem completely fixed within 15 minutes. Very knowledgeable!
