Charged my husband $170 for an oil change and didn’t quote price beforehand. For reference I have my last 4 receipts from more honest places in my glovebox and the highest it’s ever been is $125. Go anywhere else like jiffy line or grease monkey where you won’t get gauged.

Paid $160 for a coolant flush, and afterwards I checked my coolant. They never changed it and it was still low. Go here at your own risk

They charge $50 for a $12 air filter. Replace 2 without telling me the price cost me $100 which doubled my total cost. Total con job. It’s dishonest to not make customers aware of gross overcharging. I have never in my life paid $100 for air filters. I will never go back and I doubt they care.

We come here for every inspection and for any maintenance we can't do ourselves. The staff here is always friendly, and takes the time to explain what my car needs and why.

Do not go here to get your oil changed. I went in since they were close by and not only was I not helped but also there was a mechanic drinking a 40 oz in a paper bag while I was there trying to talk to someone about pricing. They were going to up charge me for the service and also have me buy a more expensive oil filter because my car required a “special” one, this has never been the case at other mechanic I’ve been to before so I knew they were lying. On top of all of this, there were homeless people hanging around the premises getting high and urinating in public with none of the workers doing anything about it. I’ve worked with a variety of mechanics/oil change places before and this was by far the worst and most unprofessional one I’ve been to.

I don't recommend this place to anyone, they are scamming customers and steal their money, they don't gave you the inspection pass and make you failed until you pay for replacing windshield wiper, they charge us 20 dollars without gave any documents, we have everything recorded and documented. It's not worth a single star even Scammers and dishonest.

I got my car inspected here. They told me they would not pass my inspection unless I replaced the wiper blade, which had a very small area where the rubber was tearing off. They tried to get me to purchase two blades even though only one had a tiny tear. They also tried to get me o replace my cabin filter, which I just had changed a few months prior at my mechanic. I've never had any issues before getting my car to pass inspection. This place sucks.

Service was fast and friendly. I was helped out by Damion Jr., Raul, and Kendell today and they got right to taking care of the oil and filter changes. No wait, but I did arrive early morning. They will recommend any services they think you may want or need, and relative estimates for those services so you can compare with other locations if it makes you more comfortable. Above all they were a friendly crew that felt easy to talk to.

Small 2-bay oil shop. Family owned, with a busy Barber's chair in the small waiting room. No upselling! Just fyi advice and conversation. I enjoy coming here 4+ times a year for oil changes, inspections, car Q&A and gossip near The Chair. AND there is an attached 4 bay DIY car wash with power wands.

They changed my oil. Customer service was what you want from any place, everybody is polite. They don’t accept coupons from the Mobil 1 website, didn’t give a reason. They explain everything their computer brings up for your vehicle then you can tell them what you do and don’t want. Like many others, they try to sell you an expensive air filter. They overinflated all four of my tires, so watch out for that. Cool little waiting area inside with a TV. There’s a barber in there too. I wouldn’t go back only because they don’t accept the Mobil 1 website coupons, that would’ve helped me out a lot. Not a bad place, but not worth the same as other 4+ star places.

I live in the neighborhood, so this place would be convenient if it was convenient, at all. They keep irregular hours (don't show up at 8a unless you like to sit in your vehicle), are slow (1.5 hours for an oil change when second in line), incompetent (did not replace the my drain plug gasket, so drip-drip), and indifferent (unpleasant about my return visit, and again with the waiting–finally gave up and paid for another oil change). It's too bad, bc this seems like a great community place, but that doesn't offset the customer service negatives. Updated with photo: This is the oil drain plug with the gasket that the mechanic put back on my car after my change, so with the damage to it, it's no wonder it was leaking oil. Seems like sheer indifference or purposing repeat business.

Just moved to Austin and the neighborhood. These men were recommended to me by a neighbor and he was right! They are very professional. Their diagnostics were spot on for both my vehicles. Very friendly, I recommend them highly!!

Sign shows $99 for a synthetic oil change. Thought it was a little expensive and knew that the actual bill would be a little higher as usual after tax, some "nickel and diming" (in this case I guess the car needed a special oil filter for $11 more, I wasn't made aware of that until after), plus the extra oil for a 4Runner. But this is just down the road and I thought it couldn't be that bad. Then the bill comes out to $146... Ouch! My bad for not spending time asking for a complete breakdown of the cost prior but I really wasn't expecting such a rip off. This is more than dealership money (where the mechanic will at least know how to reset your maintenance counter). When I confronted them about the pricing they said "we do what's the best for the vehicle". I am probably not the first person to receive this line. Lesson learned, I will never go back to this location. I should have just driven down a little further to the Rundberg rapid lube or just go to the dealership.
