I took my car in because the coolant light came on. I read about the reviews on Google and I have to say, I can see why they are rated so high. They took great care of my car and addressed the actual problem that caused the coolant light to come on. They were very thorough, responsive, and communicative the entire time. My car is riding great so a big thank you to Mission Hills Automotive and Fred!

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Not professional definitely no service, STAY AWAY! They installed the wrong parts, caused me damage of 5,000$, and nobody care. I live in LA, my rear differential in my Ram 1500 4x4 broke, I towed my car to them. They said it will be 4,000$ to replace it with used one. Fine, what can I do? They replaced the rear axle as a hole, a couple of months later I tried to use the 4x4 (it's a work car I'm not really using it), and the car was feeling like it getting hits and made crazy noice, than stopped. I towed it to my mechanic in LA, and after couple of days of diagnosing, he found out they installed a back differential ratio of 3.21when it needed to be 3.55!!! Caused the transfer box damaged, and the front differential gears as well, I had to replace both. My mechanic did 3 times what they did and charged me about the same. and the WORST PART is they didn't care, the owner (Randy) never called me, nearly returned my emails. Even after I sent him all the proof he asked for, and even a video of my mechanic proving the wrong ratio on the car. THEY EXPLOITED ME, THEY OVERCHARGED ME AND THEY DIDN'T DO THE JOB CORRECTLY

Wow 5 star service is all I have to say! Well I'll explain... We were on our way to the SD airport and our clutch went out on the freeway...at 430am My husband got towed here by AAA. While I got ubered to the airport to still make my flight At 8am when they opened it was already busy but my husband was helped immediately. The staff was so helpful and let me husband hang out until his ride came. We live in Hemet which is an hour and a half away. They let us keep our car there while it was being diagnosed and also they kept my husband informed via text which was perfect. Then when car was ready they were able to keep it so I could pick it up when I got back to CA which was so nice. We got into town Tuesday morning and they knew exactly who I was and it was a quick checkout. I was so stressed when our clutch went out that Thursday morning but mission hills auto was very helpful and communicated great so I didn't even have to worry and enjoyed my trip! Total spent 2452 But we got a new clutch and and also a new salve and also they found something with our break light. Honestly I thought I was going to have to spend way more so I definitely breathed a sigh of relief when we got the total. So thank you again mission hills of y'all were closer wed use you all the time but I'm grateful for the five star service we received :)

I love this place so much. They are always so kind, knowledgeble, and efficient. I had a ton of things I needed fixed and they did it within one day- and they had to order parts! Also I never get the bad vibes I sometimes get when I go to other mechanics haha. They explain things thoroughly and never make you feel stupid!! 10/10 everytime I go.

Mission Hills Automotive is a trustworthy and reliable business that I feel fortunate to have found. They communicate very well about what is going on with the vehicle and don't try to sell you things you don't need. They do also take the time necessary to diagnose problems correctly. I've been bringing my vehicle to them for service for over ten years now, and I have never had a bad experience.

Really helpful, kind people; great communication. I thought I was hearing a weird sound in my new-to-me car (my first hybrid), so I brought it in for them to diagnose. It turned out to be a totally normal sound, but they were still really thorough in making sure nothing was wrong, and they helped me understand what was going on and what sounds I should expect from this car. I’ll definitely be going back for my next regular maintenance.

I had my 2017 Range Rover Sport in for an oil service and brake fluid service. Mission Hills Automotive lives up to it's reputation. Excellent scheduling process, car was delivered on time as promised, and the whole process was very transparent and reasonably priced. Excellent job team!

I have gone to Mission Hills auto for over 6 years now and have been very happy with their work. Literally the day I moved to San Diego, my battery died and I went into the shop and started a relationship with their team. Everyone is very friendly, and I feel that I can trust their advice and really understand the "why" which each repair. Never have I felt pressured to get more work done (if anything, the opposite, with them encouraging me to delay some service that wasn't necessary). Over the years my car has had lots of issues and with every one, they've kept me on the road and kept my car moving. They take pride in their work - for instance, in my recent repair they went above and beyond by double and triple checking that every leak was stopped. I love that it's in my neighborhood and I can walk from home to pick up my car. I also really like that the whole team seems to communicate. Whether I'm talking with Fred or Evan, it seems like they're both very familiar with my car and its history. I think this goes a long way. I highly recommend Mission Hills Automotive!

I have rarely if ever worked with an auto repair shop that is more honest, easy to work with, or good at what they do. From the ease of booking an appointment, to the fact that they always, always do what they say, for the amount they said, and actively try to save you money. This may seem like real baseline stuff...but in my experience auto shops seem to thrive on ambiguity and in weaponizing their knowledge against the customers to extract the most amount of money. Not these guys. I hope they never change...

Wow! What a disappointment. After moving to the neighborhood recently, I was seeking a well respected and well reviewed auto repair shop for my vehicle. I was under the impression that this shop fit that description. However, after dropping my vehicle there for the replacement of a tire pressure sensor in one tire and a sporadic shift lever issue, I found that the shop wanted to charge me $180 just to look at the shift lever problem, and almost double the going rate at a tire repair shop like Evans tire to replace the tire pressure sensor.
