1st they quoted 2 hours over the phone but when I showed up they said 3 hours. It ended up being just under 5 hours. I came in because my water pump was leaking (temperature of my car was fine, but it came up with the inspection). After about 4hrs I left with my car and then within 1 mile my car was overheating to the max temperature and I got a dashboard alert saying I need to pull over right away. I drive a Lexus nx200t and will not be coming back. I only hope that my car is not permanently damaged.

I don’t have enough good things to say about this shop and the people running it. They’re fast, ethical and no nonsense. I’ve been taking my Mazda here for the better part of 4 years and I’ve never felt pressured to make any unnecessary or unreasonable repairs. Not only have i never felt pressured, but they go above and beyond to explain the problem, what caused it, and then help map out what needs to be done. If you’re in the market for a mechanic, i wouldn’t look any farther.

Very good service. I arrived only hoping to get an oil change and a tire rotation. The gentlemen behind the desk were able to give me a full inspection, and an additional order for parts, afterwards. They easily accomplished this in one visit. For customers who only require a tune up, for any used car, Miramar Auto Repair provides grade A service. Thank you. Miramar Auto Repair (previously Japanese Auto Repair) continues to cover all of my needs for a compact automobile. I recommend them for any performance car owner, even though they service practically any vehicle. Tune-ups are completed easily, spedily, and local... with a friendly smile. Thanks again.

I can't say enough about the integrity and ethics of this shop. Anthony (GM) listened about my issues and clearly knew the cause of the problem. He made honest and ethical recommendations that significantly impacted the profit he would generate in respect for my benefit. I can't say enough good things and they will continue to be the first shop I visit for future maintenance and repairs.

Routinely get my Mazda serviced here. Anthony at the front office is extremely helpful and welcoming. Never felt that I was asked to do anything more than what was required at that time. Will continue to return.

these r the folks to go to when you need answers..,they go the length to properly diagnose and solve whatever ails your ride. I was pleasantly surprised after doing a lot of research. although I missed him on my call, Anthony called me back and got me into the shop in real time, within the hour he found the culprit and explained my choices. These guys are accurate, professional, and capable. I'm most grateful for their assistance!

This was one of the worst experiences I've had at an auto repair shop. The person who appeared to be the manager charged me $80 without installing my splash shield, claiming it was incompatible with my car. When I pointed out that he hadn't informed me of this before starting the work, he had no explanation. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. It was definitely a terrible experience.

Very disappointed with the work and service received. I would not bring your car here to be serviced if you can help it. Spent over a thousand dollars in services and brought my car back twice just for the issue with my AC to not be resolved. Then on top of not fixing the issue with my car, the staff was extremely rude when trying to figure out what to do with my car moving forward. Each time I brought my car back they found a new issue with the AC. A full diagnostic was requested the first time I brought in, so all of the issues should have been found that first time. If the car is still blowing hot air after you 'supposedly' fixed it, why would it get sent back to me not once but twice. My advice if you can't figure out the issue, admit your wrong and refer to someone who actually can.

These guys do a great work at fair prices.I highly recommend them. They are not limited to Japaneses cars either. I have a Land Rover and they do an excellent job with the repairs and maintenance. They also warranty their work and honor the warranty. I trust them and that is important these days .

Andre at Miramar Auto Repair is a great guy and very professional. I came for a wheel alignment and AC service. Both were completed in short order at a very reasonable price. It's no wonder why they were referred to me by Discount Tire. Btw, they do much more than wheel alignments.

I came here today late afternoon, one hour before closing, to see if they could schedule an appointment for me to have my car's transmission fluid drained and refilled. To my pleasant surprise, they were able to take me in on the spot and get it done within the hour. The price was less than their competitors and their service was outstanding. Andre was patient, knowledgeable, personable, and extremely helpful. I grabbed a bite to eat while my car was worked on, then was well on my way. Grateful they didn't push me over til the next day bc I didn't want to procrastinate. Thanks guys! I'll be back.

I felt so fortunate found this Japanese auto specialist store, and very happy for my homework. Andre is the manager helped me for all of those repairs. He is very trustworthy, honest and patient. I asked him the problems of my car and some extras as others suggested. He answered me one by one, what were necessary; what weren’t. He even drew the pictures to make the question more easier to understand. His team did the wonderful job. I have been very grateful having Andre’s team helped me out. I've been going with these guys for over 3 years. Agree with everyone else that Andre is honest and straight talking. When I needed work that took longer than an oil change, he lent me his Toyota Prius for the day. The move to Miramar road was a good one as now you can walk to get a coffee and a bite to eat at Better Buzz coffee shop while you are waiting.

The mechanics are very professional and kind. My tires have leaning-brind issues and did a wheel alignment there. Instead of take the money and do the alignment directly, they did the wheel inspection first and told me I should replace the suspension shock first otherwise the wheel alignment would not help, the whole inspection is free. And they are being patient with my questions. I would very much recommand taking your car here.

Did a full inspection and oil change today. It took about an hour. The gentleman explained every on the invoice clearly and put remarks on what I have to keep an eye on before the next oil change. He also showed me how to check the power steering since I am not an expert in cars. Overall a great experience!
