This was the first time I have used Minnie’s. I needed an oil change and front brakes. The team at Minnie’s was so easy to work with and very efficient with getting my van back. Will be using Minnie’s from now on!

To say I was satisfied with the service I received at Minnie’s Auto Repair would be a gross understatement. It was beyond any expectations I had going there for my first visit. I was greeted promptly when I came in for a scheduled oil change. They had all my info from the appointment I set up so things were ready to go. I sat down to wait in what had to be the nicest appointed lobby of any shop I’d been in. It was quiet except for the TV going ( in a separate area of the lobby no less in case you would rather sit quietly across the room ) which was at an appropriate volume. The folks at the reception desk could be heard every now and then but it was still nothing disturbing. I almost caught a nap in the 20 min or so while i waited for the service to be completed. What I could hear from reception though was perhaps the most detailed explanation of what was going on with a customers car. The service tech and manager ( I’m assuming ) actually listened to the customer on the phone ( there were breaks in the phone conversation so again it seemed like some positive listening was going on. ). I was probably paying more attention to the couple conversations I could hear but I’m a technical person by nature so it was interesting to hear them tailor the explanation and remedy to whatever level the customer on the other end could understand. There didn’t seem to be any hard selling going on. As a matter of fact, they offered to break up the service for a customer into small bite sized pieces so it was less overwhelming. Something I’ve not had the pleasure of hearing any shop I’ve been to really do. My wait came to an end, I paid and was on my way. I’ll be back with both of my cars for my future service needs.

Great service and relaxing atmosphere I called last minute because my headlights went out. I didn't have a turn signal or regular beam the only lights I had were fog lights. They got me in, fixed the issue and were very helpful. The waiting area is so relaxing with comfy furniture and plants. They even had a coffee bar with small snacks. I paid what they quoted and not a cent more. They were a blessing!

Took my car when a lot of other places wouldn't. They also didn't try to shift me, which I greatly appreciate, lol. I'll be going back to them in the future for sure.

Prompt service, good communication, clean and cozy waiting area, fair pricing as quoted. I had an overheating issue with my 2007 Pacifica that turned out to be a very easy fix. I feel another shop or technician could have easily taken advantage of this situation but Sara thoroughly explained the issue and how it was fixed and only charged me the diagnostic fee I was quoted since the repair was so simple. Sara and Lynette were very professional and I will be returning to Minnie's for any future car issues.

Minnie’s is great! Super fast and accurate diagnosis and repair! My car went from not running to fully normal in one day. They caught some problems that had caused the trouble, so it turned out to be a little bigger problem than I expected, but they did what was necessary and got me back on the road the same day! #Grateful

We recently had the most pleasant experience with Minnie’s Auto Repair in Columbia SC. We were in our way to Myrtle Beach for a few days of vacation and my vehicle broke down on Intherstate I-26 at exit 103. We searched the internet for a repair shop close by and after reading their reviews we chose Minnie’s Auto. We spoke with a very helpful employee named Sarah. She took care of calling us a tow truck since my insurance roadside assistance tow was gonna be anywhere from 90-120 minutes away. There we were 3 ladies with 5 kids one being 7 mths old and one 2 year old along with a 7,9 and 11 year old. We then had to get a rental and go to Minnie’s and unload my car into the rental. As I entered the business I felt so at ease . The ladies at the counter were so very nice to me in my terrible crisis. So off to the beach we went and only to find out a couple of days later that my engine had locked down. They provided us a number to Kia to start a case on repairing my engine. Since there are cases of the engine locking down throughout the nation. Had to have it towed 112 mikes back to my hometown. Received word yesterday that it is under warranty and they are replacing the engine . I would definately recommend Minnie’s auto if you are in or around Columbia SC and need assistance with your auto repair. May God bless these wonderful folks at Minnie’s I feel that God placed them in our path for a reason. Thanks so much to them for their kindness to us . :)

My opinion and experience with this place is not good, I went to Minnie's to get a replacement starter,ended up with a car not running at all. I know the mechanic was not efficient, and would recommend anyone go elsewhere besides this place. I spent 550+ at this place and yes this place put me in a bind with not having a running car and monies I lost,which I had before I went to this place. Minnies need to hire mechanics that has knowledge of what they are doing with people's cars. I do not recommend this place because they worked on my car and messed up my engine. Beware and bypass this place you will be better off. Minnies don't deserve a star at all from me,but will not let me post this warning. I do not recommend this place at all.

I had my 2015 Grand Cherokee Summit looked at for noise when braking. The mechanic replaced the back breaks and told me it was the driver side motor mount. Something told me to have my vehicle looked at to see if the mount was replaced and sure enough the original mounts are still on the vehicle! No movement on start up or shut down, no knocking noise what do ever. This shop thought they had a fool and charged me for services they didn't provide. Patron at your own risk. Consequences are sure to follow. Come to find out the noise came from the driver side wheel bearing.

We had a bizarre problem which took a long time to resolve and ended up with getting the computer replaced in the car -- something you don't even consider when your car won't start! Minnie's took the time to diagnose and test every system in the car until they narrowed it down. I can't say enough good things about this shop.

I had my son’s dodge charger towed in for a starter replacement. The ladies kept me updated from the beginning to the end with the repairs. Called to get a quote for repairing a brake line I knew was leaking. They said they needed to see the vehicle to be able to give me an estimate. Was told the vehicle would be looked at the day it arrived. Had the car towed and dropped off first thing in the morning. Called before they closed and no one answered so I left a message. The next day still no response. When I finally did get someone to answer the phone they said they still didn't have an estimate. The car then sat over the weekend untouched. On Monday they said all the brake lines would need replaced and it would be $1500. I stated that I only wanted the one that was leaking replaced like I had asked. They insisted that the fuel tank would need dropped and they would have to do all of them. Which is just not true. I then arranged to get the car towed back home and when I called to let them know it was getting picked up they told me I had to pay $75 diagnostic fee. I was never told I would be charged until picking the vehicle up. They were incredibly rude and deceptive about the whole process, and I left feeling like I got scammed.

This place is great! I had to get a tire sensor fixed and not only are they great female mechanics but the waiting area is very nice! You have a place to charge your cell phone. They have free drinks and snacks. The furniture makes you feel like you’re at home. And they have cable tv. And the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about what you want or need for your vehicle.

We have two cars on which they have repaired. They have the absolute best repair warranty (free) than any other shop we have used. If I had known that a few years ago, I would not have used Love Chevrolet, since Love's warranty was only 30 days and Minnie's is 1 year or so many miles. The gasket and seals replaced by Love's "sprung" leaks in about 6 months and I later decided to hire Minnie's to do it right that time. Had I gone to Minnie's the first time, I would have saved me about $1,000 in the long run. Great receptionists who take pains in recording a customer’s comments and asking key questions about what's happening or they think is wrong, etc with their vehicles; and the service/mechanical personnel do an incredible job of further trouble-shooting and repairing the job orders and always calls to get and getting authorization before any work is done. Honest and hard- working personnel.

I got my car back from them less than a month ago, and when I checked my oil there was none in the tank after I was charged for an oil change. I took it into a different shop and there is no leak. What the hell? I was charged several thousand dollars for repairs, what else did you not do?!! And what's more, it must be a requirement to be extremely rude and condescending to work here.
