I had a driver with power steering fluid leak at the TA nearby for 2 days. TA guys were constantly adding what parts are needed, wasting our time with ordering/returning it. One call to Mikeys and nasty 5 min drive from TA without servo was worth it. At Mikeys, they fixed our problem, simple O-ring, not a hose, not a power steering pump, not pump mounting bolts?!, not murky fluid... Thank you guys! I should post this on TA reviews also so more people hear for you!

MIKEY’S TRUCK SHOP is the place to go to getting your diesel fixed, everyone was so professional and welcoming it made me feel very comfortable . The service was top notch I love how my truck was repaired with care and patience. Throughout the process while they were working to make sure it was in good condition, thank you so much Mr. Ryan I will definitely be back in the future if I ever have problems with my diesel again .🙏🏾

Asked if I needed water or coffee as soon as I walked in!! Very professional and knowledgeable mechanic when I didn’t understand what was wrong with my vehicle he explained it in a way anyone could understand!! The turnaround time was also very reasonable. If you are bringing your diesel anywhere else in St. Tammany your doing it wrong!!

Brought our 2013 F-250 diesel here for a bad brake booster and possibly some excessive crank case pressure. After about a year of not having our truck, supposedly the motor had been rebuilt and reinstalled into the truck. Picked the truck up and drove it for about a week when suddenly there was oil dripping and splattering under the truck from front to back. Spoke to the owner Ryan over the phone who stated that the turbo was bad and I needed to have it towed in even though the truck was still running good with no other symptoms other than an oil leak. Anyways we brought the truck back and agreed to replace the turbo do to the owner pressuring us that it was the problem and threatening not to uphold his warranty on the rebuild. After a "new" turbo was installed we picked the truck up and pulled out on the highway when the check engine light came on and the truck lost all power. We took the truck back and told him it was not fixed and he stated he believed it was a problem with the tune that was on the truck. So after more pressure from the owner we allowed him to install a new tune on the truck with the promise that it would fix the issue. We picked the truck up once more and it was still was having the same issue so he states that he believes it to be a computer or wiring issue. So he priced a new ECU for the truck and we told him to order it. After over a year of waiting for the ECU to arrive we ended up taking the truck to a Ford dealership who diagnosed the truck and stated that the supposedly new turbo that was installed was a remanufactured turbo and that the VGT was mechanically stuck open causing the issue and the solution would be replace the turbo. The truck only had 5,000 miles on it from the time of the rebuild to us taking it to Ford so we approached Ryan about covering the cost of this turbo since he had installed a faulty turbo and he refused any financial assistance and even went on to state that the Ford dealership had no clue what they were talking about. After paying Ford to install a new turbo and after over two years of not having a functioning truck it is finally running decent again.

Had truck problems on May 6th 2024...called to find out the owner (Ryan) was in today ..he was the one to deal with the issue my truck had.. which was fuel not going to engine....after being told what the time frame would be Ryan dropped us at the hotel...kept us informed on work. We had a freezer in truck....he provided us electricity for the freezer while we waited for truck to be fixed. When the time came to pick up the truck he sent his wife Brinkley to pick us up at hotel. In the past I have dealth with garages but never have I dealth with people with so much compassion and love for the business .... his passtime. Thank you Ryan & Brinkley for everything Joane &Mike 🇨🇦

I brought my husband’s diesel truck to this place after explaining to Ryan what the problem was ( fuel pump not working) he agreed he could fix it. After have the truck for over 3 months, he explained many different issues he had to repair from us letting shady tree mechanics operate on the vehicle. Understood, he explained he could not get it up crank right up and stay running, my husband told him he would pick it up and bring it elsewhere. He insisted on figuring the problem out. He changed the fuel pump regulator 3 times only to find out that still was not the issue. Yes he worked with us on the price, I guess. We were charged $5000 for nothing. He took $500 off. After paying $4500. We picked the truck up ( the worker gave my husband ether and told him he would need this to get it started) what does that tell you, only for it to have the same problem. Now he’s saying it’s the injectors. This is not a mechanic this is a scientific lab where they experiment on your vehicle and then charge you for their time. Whatever the problem was, no matter the cost it should’ve been repaired not picked up to bring to mechanic shop. I don’t know how a person can charge someone and still don’t have the problem fixed. That’s what a diagnostic is for, to see what the problem is and give you a price not price you as they go along. NEVER AGAIN AT THIS PLACE. You do better going to the dealership. I pray people start walking in honesty and integrity. $2500 donation. I put this place in GOD’s hands. My vehicle was there for 3 months because you couldn’t figure out the problem. The bill didn’t come until you through stuff together. And said we’re done. And yes, I do feel entitled, entitled to get a vehicle repaired once I brought it to a suppose to be mechanic shop. Some people are just in denial and won’t tell the truth. Whatever it was you were suppose to fix it that’s why you call yourself a mechanic. Big mistake. The truck was suppose to be repaired. When all you did was get it to start after spraying ether on it. Come on man. That’s ridiculous. You can take good reviews but not bad ones. No one is perfect not even you. And you only took $500 off. I hope and pray no one else experience with you what myself , my husband and your previous customer experienced. Hopefully you don’t pull a gun out on them like you did my husband after him being upset for donating $2500. You are suppose to be a mechanic and all I hear is what the problem was, something we already knew but not how you resolved the problem. Whatever needs to be fixed we can afford it but what we can’t afford is to give money away.

Ryan, the owner, is probably one of the best guys I've ever met. I was traveling across the country in my f350, pulling an rv when I blew a cylinder. I was able to limp into the shop and was expecting to get a hotel while they worked. Ryan let me pull the rv into his back lot where he let me crash overnight before I was able to make other arrangements. Bent over backward to help me out when life tried to kick my teeth in.

These guys are awesome. My husband and I broke down on our way back home to Alabama in our company truck along with our three car hauler. The owner himself towed both the truck and trailer back to his shop diagnosed and repaired what was a bad fuel pump on our 2009 Ford f250 4*4. He and his staff had us up & running within a few hours at a reasonable price. There's still good people out there! God bless this company

I brought my bus in due to a potential starting issue. Ryan was very knowledgeable of the engine and tested the glo plugs and took a look for me. Turns out it may be more a computer issue but I’m glad for his advice about my cam sensor. Very friendly and helpful service

Not a good place to bring your vehicle spent 4000 for them to guess on what was wrong and still doing the same thing also took my truck and all of a sudden came out with a fuel leak and parts not put back on properly
