This type of shop is very rare. Mike is a good Man. He runs his shop with honesty, integrity and unwavering, professional knowledge. I reached out to at least five other shops to fix my wife’s Subaru - they all said “it’s a blown head gasket - estate at $3000 to $4000”. When I went to Mike, he said it’s not a blown head gasket - it’s your radiator cap! We found our new go to guy! A HUGE thank you to Mike and his A # 1 mechanic Ben! Oh… and Tess 🐾

Mike and Austin are the best mechanics I’ve ever had work on my car. They were very fair in what they charged me and it was significantly less than what the dealership quoted. I plan to start bringing my car in for all work..I’m tired of dealing with BS.

This is the most honest mechanic I have ever been to. After diagnosing our vehicle they didn’t charge us, and gave us really good advice. They were humble and really helped us in an honest way.

A friend told me about Mike several years ago and I've been coming to his shop ever since. He and Austin always make me feel like they have my best interests at heart. They are honest and fair, don't try to upsell and do great work. Always a happy customer!

We've known Mike and the family for over 25 years. Mike and Austin are about fairness and honesty, not to mention the top of the line work they do! they have been helping me with my daughter's Jeep Liberty! Austin helped figure out the issue and got the Liberty back on the road. Great people! Great Service! Great Value! I highly recommend Austin and Mike!

I’ve been coming to Mike’s for YEARS now and they are one of only two shops I trust with my vehicles in the Springs. They always do great work, have always had great communication, very fairly priced, and are extremely great and honest people. I can’t recommend them enough, if you’re having problems or need something done with your vehicle, absolutely take it to them!

Dropped the car off for diagnosis. Thermostat would fluctuate between cold and the appropriate halfway point. Local dealership said nothing was wrong, but did not explain the reason for this behavior. It turns out that there are two different temperature sensors which causes the fluctuation. This problem will be corrected in newer models. Thank you, Mike for explaining the reason for this issue and for NOT CHARGING ME ONE PENNY! 💖💖💖

Mike is the most honest, respectful, and kind owner I’ve ever met. Another shop quoted me $1500 to do a job that didn’t even need to be done on my car. When mike looked at it, he realized that that was not the real issue and he was able to fix it in a timely manner while still keeping it within my budget. I cannot recommend him enough! I will only be bringing my car here from now on. This is the best auto shop:)

No other shop offers the skills, experience and honesty Mike's offers, from a simple oil change to an entire engine rebuild. This shop is great. Austin was super easy to work with. He was open, kind, patient, and took the time to really hear me out which is very hard to find nowadays. Definitely a refreshing experience and would recommend this place any day.

6 years ago when I was struggling to get by mikes Japanese went above and beyond to get me back on the road at an incredibly fair price. Years past now I’m building a wrx Sti and mikes Japanese specialize in these and have done incredible work assisting me In getting after market parts installed and gives incredible advice all the way through. This is the best shop in all of Colorado.

Extremely great place to take your car. Both Mike and Austin are very good people that run a great mechanic shop. I have a 2003 Subaru WRX and I never knew where I could take it until I found this place. Won't take my car anywhere else now.

I have a 2017 Subaru WRX, the AC was not working and I had a check engine light on. I have always had trouble scheduling and having work done by the Subaru dealer here in town.I called these guys and got scheduled very easily. they were very polite and listened to all of my concerns. They repaired the car and I think the pricing was very fair. I plan on using them for my fleet vehicles, I would highly recommend them.

I have had my fair share of problems with auto shops until I started going to mikes. He is honest doesn’t take advantage of the fact I don’t know cars well. He’s always been nice to me and my family. His prices are always fair, especially since he does amazing work. If your looking for a fair, honest mechanic I HIGHLY recommend Mikes! Especially if you’re a female like me who has been taken advantage of by other mechanics.

Mike and his team provide consistently excellent customer and vehicle service. He is reliable, professional, and pleasant to work with. I lived 50 minutes from his shop, but it was always worthwhile to make that journey for the high service quality and reasonable prices. Mike is honest and forthcoming about vehicle condition, maintenance, repairs, etc., and clearly communicates the crucial details in a way that's easy to understand whatever your proficiency in auto repair may be. You can count on him for an accurate and comprehensive assessment every time. While I lived in CO, I exclusively relied on Mike's for all of my regular/scheduled maintenance (Toyota), as well as repairs and replacements, for over three years without any issues (whether with pricing, appointments, assessments, service, etc.) and I highly recommend his shop to anyone in the CO Springs area.

They took amazing care of me. I’ve been jerked around by two other repair shops in town, spent over $2,000 trying to fix a problem. Mike’s looked at my vehicle, told me what to do to fix it and didn’t even charge me. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
