Would give this place 10 stars if I could!! Independently owned, treats you like family, super clean! Store Manager Adree took care of me in my time of need. Was stuck downtown as a visitor and helped me get back on the road with in a couple of hours. Honest, friendly, and fantastic experience.

Woke up with a flat on a fairly new tire under warranty at Firestone (Fleet vehicle). Adrie swapped out damaged tire with spare free of charge. Nice and honest shop.

Our fender came loose during a trip to San Antonio. We were afraid it would fall off during our drive home. The Downtown Garage staff was amazing! The attendant was a very friendly Adri, and the mechanic was a very polite Caleb. We just got back home safely thanks to the awesome Caleb who secured our bumper for a safe drive home!!! No charge!!! We couldn't believe it!! We highly recommend these kind folks, and we hope you'll seek their services!!

Awesome experience! 👏 Friendly manager, communicative and professional! Only took an hour to install a refurbished, power side-view mirror. Very reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be recommending Mike’s to all my friends and clients!

Fantastic staff and service!!! So I was in town for a conference and had an electrical issues on my wife's car. This shop was right next to our hotel and Adrie the shop owner, took care of everything. They got us sorted out and back on the road in less than an hour. Highly recommended!!!!

Mike’s Downtown Garage is a super convenient place to take your vehicle. I went for a state inspection and was in and out very quickly. And, as a bonus, Adrie-Ann is very friendly and helpful. I will come here for my next oil change as well. I highly recommend Mike’s Downtown Garage!

Amazing price to replace my AC condenser with quick turnaround. It’s ice cold so loving it. Their customer focus in excellent and communication superb. Got my inspection done and now this is my go to place in San Antonio for sure !!!

I stopped in 15-minutes before closing time to ask if I could do a vehicle inspection to get my registration sticker renewed. The store manager Adrie-Ann got their employee Hector to start the inspection right away. They were quick, friendly and I appreciate them making room for me last-minute! Adrie-Ann said they also offer shuttle service for clients who need to drop their car off and get to work. Good to know! I didn't get any repair service done, so can't speak for that, but would definitely recommend them for inspections and for their professionalism.

This a great mom and pop local business that needs community support. The staff is extremely kind and easy to work with. I had my state inspection done here; they don't charge more than the $7 standard fee like some places do (Jiffy Lube sucks!). Very fast and was able to get it done in about 5 minutes. Throw them some business if you live or work in the downtown area!

As a courtesy Joe, the Good Year Manager at the Goliad location referred me to Mike's Downtown Garage. In order to get my car serviced per check engine light. It was a Saturday knowing only 3 hours before closing. Joe, went beyond the call of duty! Guaranteed customer satisfaction! Upon arrival at Mike's Downtown location I was greeted by Kyle, the most wonderful flawlessly pleasant manager. Very easy on the eyes too! He was most proficient and professional it must be a Good Year Trait 🤗 I was TRUMP-ified!!! Even though it was downtown (crazy traffic) Kyle was so entertaining he made me feel so at ease. 1st time I'd met him yet it seemed I'd known him for years. Very reassuring! It was totally worth going the distance. And yes Kyle, I will be back. Thank you Joe, for all that you do. I now know, the Good Year Guys are and will remain my Mechanic Guys!!!

Don't be fooled by the good reviews. My girlfriend took my car here while i was at work and they took full advantage. I told her not to pay if the total repair for AC was over $200 dollars and they were trying to charge over $700 but they tricked her into paying $165 just to add freon and i was too busy working to answer her texts in time to put a stop to that. I could've easily done that myself for a fraction of the cost. Thanks for ripping us off!

I work in King William so I always drop off my car here for service then walk to work. Pick it up at the end of my work day. I used to go to the Good Year on St. Mary's but they tried to scam me there. Kyle at Mike's Downtown Garage is really honest and won't push you to get work done you don't immediately need. I've been getting my oil changed and tune ups here for years. They're very dependable.

We arrived in San Antonio and noticed our brakes were making a strange noise. We called them and they were kind enough to see us the first thing the next morning! Nice service! We were very thankful.

We’ve had good experiences here in the past, but our brakes were replaced 4-5 times (honestly lost track) trying to get them to NOT squeal. The last set still squeal, but we will take them somewhere else to fix the issue. They have officially worn us down. Always nice, but just can’t justify another day without the car to face the same issue. Repeated requests to speak with the manager or owner were denied. Update…sixth time was the charm. There was really no choice but to continue to work with the garage, unless we wanted to buy the brakes again somewhere else. The garage finally purchased the genuine Audi brakes (as they promised to do the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th times) and they do NOT squeal. Alls well that ends well? But unfortunately we won’t be going back.
