This location is the best one in town. Jacob is the man and got me right in, arranged transportation for me to get to and from work while they worked on my Honda. Very polite & communication was on point as I had quite a bit of suspension work done. Got it back and it drives amazing. Don't sleep on this Midas location. They will take care of you🤜🤛**🤙

Took the car in for an oil change. Noticed oil leaks on the driveway. I took the car back to see if the oil pan plug was loose. I was told that the valve cover gasket needed to be replaced. Close to $600.00. So I shopped around and found another shop to do that work. Got it done for $245.00. Still leaking. Took it to another shop that said the wrong oil pan plug was leaking. So I returned it to Midas and they replaced the oil plug. Doesn’t leak anymore. Midas tried really hard to take advantage of me. I’m an elderly woman. No apology. What a waste and disappointment. Don’t trust this crew.

I brought my car in yesterday for them to evaluate what was wrong with one of my parts and they were able to decipher what is was and I had an appointment to get it fixed the next day. They are my favorite place they are always so friendly and their work is efficient! Will definitely becoming back for whatever my car needs!

I happened upon the Midas on Tanque Verde due to their 29 dollar oil change and came back for mechanical work after speaking with the manager and his office guy. I drive older vehicles that can be challenging and after several repairs, I feel confident in recommending their techs for quality work. They even went the extra mile dealing with me at closing time when I had an additional problem with another vehicle. Love their hours of operation that include Saturdays and weeknights until 6, very convenient! Thanks guys!

I just finished getting a Road Trip Inspection for a trip I have coming up. I had also recently gotten my car looked at in recent weeks at another place. I am not very trusting on Auto Shops. I have never really had great experiences. Good mechanics are hard to find. However I found this location to have offered me a very dignified, honest, and courteous experience. Ryan the assistant manager went over all pieces of what the inspection had found and spent time showing me my car and explaining me how the things worked and why they needed repair and replacing. He was authentic and really helped me to understand my car better. Which edified me and left me feeling overall "blessed" after an Auto Shop visit ... which I think is very uncommon! And, ultimately why I find this shop to be a trustworthy place of business and worthy of a great review.

Service was Excellent back on 12/13/2024, had a 4 wheel alignment done for my 2000 saturn sl2. Drives nice and straight!!! Highly recommend this shop. Keep up the good work!!!!!

Best experience i’ve had at car shops thus far. I try out a lot of car shops but all mechanics come off as misogynistic or condescending to women but not these guys. They were helpful, courteous and very personable, great qualities in mechanics. Not wishing for any car problems but if I have them, I’ll come here. 🙂

Dont take your vehicle here especially if your on the older side they will try to get over on you. Reason I am saying this is my father in-law took his honda pilot there for a routine oil change and when he went to pick it up they caused a hair crack in the oil pan from tightening the oil plug to tight. When he went to pick it up they told him that crack was already there but if that was the case he would have no oil taking it in to there. They then tried charging him $800 to get it fixed. After my wife called them they lowered it to $399 because they admitted it was tightened to tight and that if he buys the parts he will just have to pay for the labor of $399

I took my vehicle in for brake noise and an issue with my tierods. I was advised that I needed front brake pads and tie rods. I asked what my rear brake pads were at and they were “all good” according to the shop. Within a few weeks I was hearing noise again and took my car to another Midas to have it looked at and they informed me my rear pads were “metal on metal”. I called Midas on Tanque Verde to ask them if they would be able to do anything about this since my car needed extra repairs now because they told me my brake pads were fine about 1 month ago. They told me this was likely due to a “caliper issue” but must have forgot they mentioned that they “didn’t have a wheel lock key” for my car so they “didn’t take the tires off for the repairs” so they likely couldn’t see the issue. I will not be going back to this Midas and suggest you don’t either.

I went in for an oil change and a brake job. They were super friendly and walked me through what they were doing and/or going to do. They took their time to make sure everything was done to their liking. I would highly recommend them.

Three days ago my daughter took her car in to this Midas for an oil change. Today at our own mechanic for a oil change, it was discovered that her car had no oil in it. NO OIL. This place refuses to refund her money. The are a total rip off. Do not go here!!!!

It was a great experience all around! I needed both my control arms replaced and happy I went with Midas. Jacob walked me through what was needed and how they can repair it. He was able to get the parts and replace them the day I brought it in for an estimate. He also called an Uber for me so I didn’t have to wait around all day! 10 out of 10 experience!

Stay away. This place quoted me 200+ dollars for a generic part when I found an OEM part for 40 dollars online. That is 5x the price. I was told they can only buy from certain vendors. Who? NASA? I was then told that a radiator flush would be "thrown in". After asking for a breakdown of the costs, the radiator flush was $100. Not. Thrown. In. While tempted to just get my car fixed and get ripped off, I decided I would instead order the part (overnighted it was $90) get a local, no-chain mechanic to do this extremely simple job for $50. This location was sued in 2022 for exactly this type of behavior (see attached snip from 12 News article). I guess they don't learn? I have had a lot of experiences with garages, this is the absolute worst. Midas has been sued for this in the past, maybe it is time to do so again?
