I had a very disappointing experience at this car service shop. I came in for a routine oil change, and immediately after, I noticed a rattling noise coming from my car. When I brought it up to the mechanic, they claimed it was "just bad timing" and told me the intake runner valve had broken and needed replacement. They quoted me $500 for the part plus labor, which seemed excessive. After doing a quick search online, I found the part costs around $100. I can’t help but feel like this is either extremely dishonest or careless work. My car was fine before the oil change, and now I’m stuck with an expensive repair I didn’t expect. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value honesty or quality service.

Excellent car repair place, got my pads and rotors replaced within a day for industry standard price, even applied brake lubricant for free a few months later. Ryan was especially helpful when I needed to dispose of old antifreeze.

Had a great experience here when I needed reassurance regarding a battery issue. They promptly took care of me and my car. I would recommend and would come back for sure. They are open on the weekend as well which really came in clutch.

I had the best experience at Midas in Pacific Beach. Ryan and Anthony were so kind and helpful, and not to mention did an amazing job with my car! I recommend them above all other car shops in Pacific Beach, they did such a great job and I trust them with my car 100%!

As bad as it gets. Dropped my truck off all day just to show up at 5pm and have them tell me they couldn’t get to it. I live around the corner and have brought my truck here 3 times (out of convenience) and there has been an issue every single time. Not worth the risk, go somewhere else.

I came to Midas to patch a tire as I had a nail in my tire before work. My experience was so great, Mark and Anthony were amazing, everything was fast and professional. Would definitely come back!

Midas on Garnet Ave. Pacific Beach I had a nail puncture in a tire while I was out of town. Pulled into the station and asked about getting a tire repaired. He said give me 20 minutes and I’ll fixed for you. Gave me a great price on it. I was in and out in less than a half hour. I couldn’t be happier.

Midas was the 5th place I called and they got my business. Ryan and Ali identified that I needed work done on the front two brakes and not all four and they weren't trying to oversell. I appreciate the straight talk and I will be happy to recommend it to all my fellow cab drivers.
