I came here because I had a slow leak in my tire. I trusted them to quote me whatever the repair would be. They said that the nail went in at 45 degrees, so they couldn't patch it, and they would have to put new tires on. Well, I took a look at the nail, and i could see 100% of the head. So they lied to me. I ended up taking the car to another place, and they patched it up. I don't appreciate being lied to, I am happy I took the car for a second opinion. I wouldn't recommend going here as they clearly are in the business of lying in order to get your money.

I took my car here on Monday and have been going back and forth about writing a review. Ultimately, I do feel people should be forewarned about this place, especially women - so here I am. I took my car in for an inspection and when I got there everyone was so nice and welcoming. I sat down in the waiting room & waited for almost 2 hours for my car to be inspected. The girl comes out and tells me my emissions passed but my safety didn’t pass because i need a new front control arm, and quoted me over $1600 for the service and a wheel alignment. As a woman, with very little knowledge about cars, I’m pretty naive in car mechanics , but $1600 to pass inspection seemed insane especially because I take really good care of my car. She must have sensed my panic, because she pounced on the opportunity to offer me a payment plan, which would result in a soft credit pull and $600 monthly payments for 3 months. Once I declined the service, their attitude completely changed. I ended up taking my car to a mom and pop shop and passed inspection for $53. The idea I would’ve been swindled into paying $1600 for something I didn’t need is infuriating and I feel people should be weary about doing business here. It’s been bugging me all week, because they’re prying on people who are relying on their knowledge and trusting their business. I will not be going back to Midas.

Review edited. Midas failed me for safety inspection on my new-to-me used car that I had just purchased from a dealership. Midas said I needed new front brakes and rotors to pass. The dealership that sold it to me would only cover the work for free under my warranty if I brought it back to them. Took it to the dealership where they brought me into the shop and showed me the brakes and rotors (which were fine). The brake pads passed PA inspection by more than twice the allowable brake pad measurement. Midas tried to scam me into $1600 worth of unnecessary repairs. Whomp whomp.

The team at this location is very friendly and eager to assist. I will be back for all my car services Update: the above was my first time there. Every time after, when i went, i had to go back soon after with a new issue. That could be a coincidence, but it never happened before I started going there or after I stopped. I also had trouble starting my car at one point and they said it was my alternator and starter. I replaced both during different times, but later found out that it likely was never my alternator. I paid triple the price of what other shops said they would have charged me for the alternator. The starter they put in my car died 6 months later and I had to get it replaced. It was under warranty, but I had to pay $200 in labor. I can’t prove it, but it seems like they do what they can to make sure you keep coming back, and not for the right reasons. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I’m glad I moved away. The King of Prussia location has always been fantastic, so I can’t say it’s Midas as a whole.

They fit me in of a same day oil change and I sat on the free wireless and did work while they did a great job changing oil and flushing coolant. Highly recommended!!

Very helpful! My tire went flat across the street and thank god for this location. Even though they were about to close, I was still able to bring my car in and they got me right!

I’ve dealt with Mike in the past, who is great! But I have to give a huge RAVE to Chrissy. Best all around customer service I’ve experienced anywhere, in a very longtime. Chrissy went above and beyond, at the end of the day, everything was great. Thanks again Midas for another pleasant experience.

This place is a scam. Do NOT bring your car here they will try to make up whatever story they can to make you spend more money then you need. Came in for a tire patch. They said I needed a new tire (I did not need a new tire) They tried to upsell me on $2,000 worth of work that I know for a fact I did not need.
