After getting an oil change and tire rotation, my tires began making a rattling/thumping noise as I was driving home. I pulled over into a parking lot to realize one of my tires was missing 3 bolts and the other 2 were very loose. They asked me to drive back to the store slowly to get it fixed with no apology. I had to ask for someone to come out because I didn’t feel comfortable driving with a very loose tire. Someone came out and fixed it. I was told I can’t get my money back, just a credit for next time. Awful experience and I don’t want to go back for a next time.

If you have the pleasure to work with Nate- know that he will carry your car burdens as his own. I never had to call and check up, he kept me posted, and the dudes working in the shop are all seasoned pros. Legit dealership quality work without the markup. 115/100! You will never see me anywhere else!

Today is Friday and I woke up and needed a oil change. I could never get into my Nissan dealership. They’re always booked up even on the weekend so I go to Midas on Michigan Road and Nate takes care of me. I have done newer things in Midas, I am going to be a lifelong customer all because of Nate. He always let me know when there’s coupons or online so I don’t have to spend all the money and he has ways on financing for different purchases. If you have a big something big that you need big but you guys come on over to Midas..

My truck died on the road across the street from this Midas location late Saturday afternoon. Was able to get it to Nate and his crew about 4pm and they said they would make an alternator swap happen today. One of the guys got in his own truck and ran to Washington street for the parts. Then they stayed late to get me back on the road. Wow! Thank you Nate, Rich and Matt!

Nate is a very good worker ! I paid for my service and noticed something was still off. I immediately took it back inside to have it rechecked. After a second diagnosis, he apologized for not realizing there was another problem beforehand. He even went above and beyond to go ahead and fix the problem at no extra charge. I appreciate people who take accountability, and I’m very grateful for Nate being so kind today !!

I was at your 86th Michigan Rd location , my car was getting hot. I came in was greeted very kindly by Nate. He got my car in and the technician checked it out, I was really nervous and worried about what was going to happen. They came back and told me what the problem was and my heart dropped. I was then sent options for financial assistance, I didn’t think I would get approved, but Nate was very encouraging and positive. I was approved and it brought me great relief. He then was able to work with the dealership to get the parts in the same day! I was also offered an Uber to get me to my destination. I would recommend Midas to family and friends! Nate was my HERO! I spoke with Damien on 12/21 the DM to be quoted for an oil change and tire. He told me he would order me a tire and it would be there that day by 12pm. By 4pm I checked on my vehicle and it was not done. Only the oil change. The tire was never ordered. Me and the store manager Nathan had a few words and he basically told me to come get my car and forget paying for the oil change. Now mind you I drove my vehicle to this location with no problem I just wanted a new tire and oil change. When I went to pick my car up it was not drivable the vehicle was sitting on the rim. And what worries me the most is they had to drive my car to the parking spot while it was in this condition. This is not the way I dropped my car off and I should not be paying for a tow to pick up my vehicle because I am not comfortable with them working on my car again. Especially tires. My car sat on the rim all weekend, that is not acceptable. I need to be contacted by someone and the person who worked on my vehicle does not need to work on anyone else’s vehicle.

If you need new brakes go here, simply cant beat their prices and lifetime warranty. just keep the receipt and you never pay for brake parts again

They did a wonderful job, Nate, and the staff did a wonderful job on my wife lexus rx350,other mechanic shop could even do the oil change on this vehicle, but they it .wonderful work.

Dude was generally just snide and unhelpful as he wouldn't explain things, rolled his eyes and shook his head when I asked questions, etc. I wasn't given an accurate total on the phone or by email until I came to pick it up after the work had been done. And he left trash in my car. Pretty unprofessional.

Nate and his team did a great job solving a problem he inherited from the Midas West Side Location !! ( Avon ) ! Nate was very professional and had the problem solved and vehicle returned in 24 hours !!! Excellent Communications and Professionalism. I would like to also recognize the Regional VP for getting involved and quickly solving my service issues. I will return to this location 100 %

I had a TERRIBLE experience at this auto shop. The manager has a very bad customer service. When I got there, my car was taken into the shop, it was taking so long and the response from the manager was not even comforting at all. I later realised my mileage is only over 2000 miles instead of 5000 miles and not even due for an oil change. I told the manager I'll like to have my car back since it's not due for oil change yet. But he kept telling me theyve already started working on it. He told me it was going to be $102 for the oil change for 5 quarts of oil. When he realised I already detected he's trying to cheat me, cos the oil put In the car isn't 5 quarts since the oil change isn't due, he offered a $20 off. The filter was not changed. He went on saying I and my husband are giving him too much problems. Like seriously? You charged me ridiculously when u obviously saw the tag on my dashboard that my oil change isn't due and I told u too, but u still charged me for the oil you didn't put In the car. I will not be coming back and I'll for sure let other people I know who comes here not to patronize you guys!

I would give negative stars if it was possible. I am not a car savvy person by any means but came in to Midas to have my breaks looked at. After being told my breaks would cost a couple grand I said i would like to look around and compare my options. I was then met with amateur customer service if you could even call it that. I believe the exact words were "feel free to call back once you realize you've made a mistake" These folks are trying to grab any and every penny out of you because it helps their commission. I would stay away!!!

Terrible place to do business. Dropped it off for a diagnostic and the guys charged me 4 times what the other Midas locations charge and was an asshole about it. Do not recommend this location on michigan road.

The shop manager at Midas kept me informed of what repairs was needed, once he and I figured out what had already been completed, and what had been recommended a few weeks prior! He also worked diligently on best pricing for the parts! Very courteous staff — and great banter! I would recommend this Midas location (W. 86th & N. Michigan Road).

This is the worst car repair shop I've ever been to. I had an appointment at 8:30 a.m. to get my window fixed, which cost $850. However, the service was never properly completed. I stayed at the shop until 1 p.m., and even after the repair, my window was moving slowly. When I got home, it stopped working entirely. Despite multiple calls, texts, and even another visit, no one made any effort to fix the issue. Instead, they told me I would need to spend another $400 to resolve it. I was never reimbursed, and they never attempted to solve the problem. Now, I’m forced to file a lawsuit to get my $850 back since the service was never properly rendered. See you in court.
