I had a great experience at Midas thanks to Joey and Xavier! They were super friendly, showed amazing hospitality, Xavier offered me coffee and to turn the TV on for me while I waited. Joey gave me a great deal, and their overall professionalism made me feel valued as a customer. Highly recommend this location!

My experience at Midas on 8811 South Texas 6 has been absolutely unacceptable. Back in October 2024, I came in for an oil change and dealt with Anthony. I explained that my warranty would cover the cost, but I needed to place the money on hold until the warranty company confirmed it. Anthony contacted the warranty company, and they confirmed coverage, but then he admitted he "messed up" and couldn’t refund my money. To make up for his mistake, he promised my next oil change would be free. I specifically asked if this was documented in my account to avoid issues, and he assured me it was. Fast forward to today: I walk in expecting them to honor their promise. Instead, the front-line employee says he needs to speak to the manager. The manager then claims there’s no record of the free oil change in the system. Here’s the kicker: neither of them even asked for my name, phone number, or license plate to verify my account! They didn’t make the slightest effort to look me up—they just dismissed me outright. It gets worse. I asked the front-line employee if they were taking walk-ins, and he said yes. But moments later, the manager says they have no availability for hours. Yet, while I’m sitting there, I watch someone else walk in and get serviced almost immediately. This place is an absolute joke. They’re disorganized, dishonest, and don’t care about their customers. They made a mistake, promised to fix it, and then conveniently “forgot” about it when the time came. I wasted my time and money dealing with them, and I will NEVER come back. If you value your time and sanity, stay far away from this place.

Excellent service did the job properly in timely and professional manner and will definitely will be coming back even though I live quite far away. They have great waiting room with great coffee available for their customers. I would definitely recommend their service to others. Their prices are quite reasonable and affordable for service they provide. I wish them all the best for their business.

I recently visited this dealership for an oil change, and the experience was disappointing. I wasn’t warmly welcomed, and the staff member assisting me had an unpleasant attitude. When I inquired about certain charges and mentioned that I could have gotten a similar service near my house for a comparable price, he simply put my car key in front of me and told me I could go there instead. I took his advice, left, and went somewhere else where I received much better service. This response felt unprofessional and unfriendly, leaving me quite uncomfortable. That said, I do believe that the person must be a good individual going through a rough patch in life. I genuinely wish him well and hope everything works out for him and his family. But as a customer, I believe customer service should remain a priority. I’d rather pay more elsewhere than deal with such an experience again.

The coupon was for a synthetic oil change for $49.99. By the time the final price was worked up, it came to above $75 because the guy kept adding all sorts of fees and said that is with the coupon. I told him the car is a Toyota and not a luxury car. Then when confronted about the price, the caucasian male became hyper and started yelling saying bring the car down from the lift. Overall, felt like they advertise a lower price then add all sorts of fees to bring it up to the regular price. We went to Texas Automotive next door and got the same synthetic oil change for $38 dollars, as advertised on their coupon. No hidden fees or extra charges. It was a much more pleasant experience.

Came in for an oil change and was told I had a special oil filter and wanted to up charge then was told I needed to change my oil plug because it’s supposed be changed after every oil change and wanted to charge $10 for the plug. I feel sorry for people that don’t know about cars or routine maintenance and get bamboozled at places like this. Never coming back.

Overall the workers are very nice, but they tend to lie about the wait time like if they tell you a couple of minutes it’s more like 15-20 mins and if they tell you 25 mins it’s going to be 40 mins. With that in mind the seating area of the store is very clean and spacious.
