Great place to get your car checked out for oil changes, etc. The owner is always extremely kind and very upfront and honest. He will make recommendations based on what you actually need vs. what to keep an eye on. So tough to find people you can trust when it comes to cars so I'm glad we found this particular location.

Brake problem light came on, made online appointment for the next day. Dropped off early, associate called upon inspection to discuss what was needed. Texted me when the car was ready. I'll give Hillsboro Midas an A+ on all counts.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. It is, without exaggeration, the *only* auto shop I've been to where I didn't feel like someone was trying to pull something over on me. Erick and the other staff are polite, straightforward, honest about exactly what your vehicle does and doesn't need, and on top of all that their pricing is extremely reasonable. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

My worst experience since I made my appointment online and never received any notification about my appointment and I called to be sure that they received my appointment and they told me to just go and give my name and that they would find me in their system and when I arrived it turned out that they didn't have any of my information they just made me waste my time and by the way the receptionist was very bad-tempered since I don't know if it was just because he saw that I was Hispanic I felt a little discriminated against that he sent me to a boy who supposedly spoke Spanish and in the end they didn't do anything to help me in the way that they would have at least offered to make an appointment directly with them but no....

Erick and the Hillsboro Midas team have been consistently excellent for all of the years I’ve been seeing them. You will get an honest, straight-forward explanation of what needs to be fixed in your vehicle, as well as an accurate assessment of what needs to happen ASAP, what can wait, and what your options are. All of it is explained in a way that is clear and easy to understand even for someone who has no familiarity with vehicle maintenance. I cannot recommend this shop enough.

I have been using Midas for a couple years. Eric and his crew are top notch. I never feel like I am going to get ripped off or pushed to have services I do not need. If he cannot fix the issue, he let's you know, instead of charging you to try. Highly recommended this Midas location. Thank you Eric and crew!!

I googled to find a place to get my oil changed and Midas on SE Oak came up as one of the best. Erick is efficient, funny and calming. I have an older pick-up truck and they had me in and out within an hour. Erick filled me in on what will need to be looked at in the future, but for now, my truck is just fine! I'm so glad I found them. Very reasonable prices, no upselling.

If you'd like honest vehicle service and maintenance, this Midas shop is the only place you should take your vehicle. For example: Our idiot light goes on sometimes and usually it's something really stupid. It's typically not their first time around the block. They just know vehicles! And, if it's easy-peasy, typically no charge for their time. Try that at another repair shop! They always double back at each oil change to check concerns they've had since our last visit. Really gives my wife and I peace of mind on the road. They accept text messages which is really efficient for everyone. I've been going to Midas at 146 SE Oak St. in Hillsboro for over five years now, for all my vehicle needs. That's got to say something about their service! And I've watched the staff discuss concerns with women without talking down to them. I've heard, "Well, it's not crucial. Think it over and let us know." That's a rare interaction under these circumstance! I've really come to appreciate their business style!

I have a Range Rover and am always unnecessarily overcharged for maintenance at Range Rover of Portland. My friend, who also has a Range Rover, referred me to Eric at Midas in Hillsboro. What a great guy! Unfortunately, honesty isn't something we always get when it comes to our vehicles; however, Eric at Midas, delivers. I was so impressed with his transparency and how he went over everything in detail with me. He definitely put me at ease. The brakes were completed in a timely manner and I saved about 60% of what Range Rover of Portland was going to charge me. I highly recommend this location for maintenance! Thanks again, Eric!

Went in for oil change service for honda accord. Great experience. Carter was very helpful. Also, explained different overdue services that were needed for the car during pick up and answered my questions. Service was completed well within the estimated time given to me.
