Avoid this place!! I took my car here to get an oil change about 2 weeks ago, and my car started acting crazy so I took it to a mechanic, turns out the oil was extremely low and dirty which means they did not change the oil at all. I haven’t driven the car much since then, so there’s no reason why there is barely any oil in my car after only a couple of weeks.

Made on-line appt for 0930 next day to have Virginia required emission test pursuant to re-registration. showed up 10 mins early but waited an hr before told this Midas doesn't honor appts for just emissions...need other work to secure appt. Waste an hour but able to witness the lack of customer concern. I do not recommend.

This local Midas has a very competent mechanic Dennis that worked on my 2006 Honda Accord. I go to Midas because of their reputation. They make sure their customers are satisfied.

When I drove up I saw a rundown shop with 5 bays, but only 2 working bays and many cars sitting around that appeared inoperable. When I went in I said I had a 0930 appointment through the Midas website (with confirmation email) and the manager said they didn't have a connection/it did not download. However, he did get me in before my scheduled internet time at 0928. My schedule was full synthetic oil change with free tire rotation (a $34 fee). They changed the oil but mechanic forgot tire rotation so I reminded the manager that he did not perform tire rotation. He told mechanic and mechanic put car back on the stand and performed tire rotation. Total time was about 35 minutes as stated by manager when I signed up.

Total disappointment! I made an appointment for oil change at 11:30 am for oil change, they completed at 2:45 pm. The $29.99 coupon is a sham... The total using the coupon is about $70. Supposed to provide visual inspection report .. none provided

Chris and Raf run the place well. Straightforward and quick. Have always been serviced well here and will continue to return. The techs here are quite smart, especially compared to others on the same street. Don’t let the negative reviews turn you away… They are solidly busy here for a reason.

Extremely dishonest managers and incompetent technicians there. Try everything possible to avoid this place. They should be ashamed of themselves. I paid big there for a brake pads rotor and caliper replacement job and next day when I went to another place to do safety inspection and was told the brake was still sticky. I had to bring it back but the technician denied there was any issue. The owner and the managers there were obviously very dishonest and refused to fix it for me unless I pay even more. I had to go to another store to fix the issue. This place is full of a bunch of disgraceful owner/managers and totally incompetent technicians. Be alert! Don’t trust them.

If I could I would give it 0 stars. I recently visited the Midas Fairfax location due to a problem with my car's wipers, and the experience was nothing short of appalling. Upon entering the office, I could see two men through a door on the right, leading to the workshop. One wore a Midas top, and the other was a mechanic. Despite making eye contact, neither of them made any effort to step into the office or ask if I needed assistance. After standing there for a frustrating 18 minutes, another individual entered the office. He completely ignored my presence and began working on the computer without even a glance in my direction. When I finally said “hello,” he didn’t bother to look up. The sheer disrespect and lack of basic courtesy displayed by the staff were shocking and disheartening. These men seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves than attending to a waiting customer. Such a blatant disregard for customer service is unacceptable, and I will certainly not recommend Midas Fairfax to anyone. Respect and kindness are paramount qualities that this staff sorely lacked.

Responded to an advertisement for a $29.99 oil change and tire rotation special. Made online appointment that was confirmed. The store said they had no record of the appointment and that an oil change would be $60. I declined the bait and switch and left. Not recommended.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT service your vehicle here. Drive the extra 10 minutes, spend the extra money somewhere else, but do not trust the mechanics, the owner or anyone who works at this Midas shop. Trust me, just go somewhere else.

Horrible. Quoted and took vehicle for TPMS service. When I called in two days later to see if it’s ready, the guy tells me the person at the check in misquoted and therefore the revised price would be $60 more. The original price was already $40 more than the shop next door. I’d recommend not to go to a place with such horrible customer service. Glad they didn’t touch my car, might have caused more problems.

I believe it's only fair to share our unfortunate experience with this Midas location. We brought our car in on June 12th after noticing it was driving poorly and struggling to accelerate. We were quoted just over $2,000 for a catalytic converter replacement, with the promise it would be done in a few days. Weeks went by, and after countless follow-up calls over the course of eight weeks, we were met with nothing but excuses—either the wrong part was ordered, or it would be "done soon." Frustrated, we informed them on August 6th that we would be taking our car elsewhere. Suddenly, they assured us it would be ready the next day. When we finally picked up our car, the issue was far from resolved. No refund was offered, and we had to drive our still-struggling vehicle to a trusted mechanic much further away. The second mechanic confirmed that the catalytic converter replacement was unnecessary and that this location did nothing to address the actual problem. Whether it's incompetence or shady business practices, this Midas seems more than willing to take on jobs they clearly cannot handle, just to make a quick buck. I wouldn't trust them with anything more complex than an oil change—and even that might be pushing it.

Utilized this facility on more than one occasion. All the staff was very friendly and the car repairs were completed in a timely manner. Shane was especially helpful. He seems to have a good rapport with the customers and he is very helpful and patient with all the questions he gets asked. A good attitude can go a long way in a business. Thanks Shane!

Iv called lots of store to get my oil changed and stores like jiffy lube Valvoline all were charging above the price for example they all charged 130.00 to 150.00$ for synthetic oil!! When I called Midas they said we change 75.00$ you can't beat that in Fairfax County this place will always have my business!!

I’ve been visiting this shop for years but the recent service they made to our car was disappointing. Seven days ago, we brought our Ford Escape 2014 for oil change. we paid $74. Then the next day, we noticed an oil leaking near the right front tire. I brought the car back on Monday, but on my way to their shop, engine fault service now suddenly showed up on the screen. I still went to the shop and told the guy what happened. To make the story short, we ended up paying $819 for testing the coolant system for leaks, diagnostic, and removing and replacing the water pump. The guy said he was going to give me a discount but we still paid the same amount. After we picked up the car, My husband drove the car to his work. but on his way back to the house, the car ran from 45 to 10 mph. He managed to come home safe, but we haven’t touched the car ever since. I called the office for inquiry on Thursday, The guy told me that he needs to see the car but to be honest part of me is scared of bringing it there because of uncertainty and the cost. Plus we need a tow truck to carry the car to the shop.

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change, Ford Escape 2013, got refused by the worker(5 pm March 1st 24), when mentioned promo,from their page( synthetic blend oil change for 29.99$). As a guy with an "expert like" voice said, it takes only full Synthetic oil. So here is the Ford manual picture that it's not! Waste of time, avoid that place by all means!!!

I had an appointment for an oil change at 1:30 pm. I arrived on time and signed the job order. I didn't expect it to take long, but in order to give them plenty of time I went for lunch next door. My lunch took an hour and a half. By the time I was back expecting the job to be done they hadn't even started. I decided to cancel and go, I'll go to another Midas location next week. It's a simple enough job and it's not like it's cheap. I trust Midas, but not at this location.

I've been a customer at this Midas for many years and highly recommend them for good, fair service. Since I wait for my vehicle, I call to schedule and Shane has been great at finding days/times to limit the wait and make sure needed parts are on hand. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Shane (Manager of the store) is excellent. He works hard to find you the best deals on tires, is communicative, and a nice guy to boot. Shane has replaced tires on both of my cars, heartily recommend him.

⚜️Bonsoir Mesdames et Messieurs de ce magasin, ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ ⚜️J'espère et prie pour que tout soit bien avec vous avant de commencer mon examen mixte triste et française de furie de toute cette entreprise à cet endroit et combiné par chantilly. ⚜️Bien sûr, pas la France chantilly parce que c'est différent là-bas qu'ici en Amérique tous ensemble.⚜️ La bonne partie de votre entreprise est que vos transactions pour le changement de pétrole sont géniales chaque fois que cela s'est produit. ⚜️Cependant, le pire de cette affaire bizarre est les choses suivantes. Je sens et crains que l'histoire se répète toujours quand les gens s'amusent ou dirais-je de le faire de la manière française avec tous les moyens nécessaires. ⚜️Cela signifie venir juste à temps où il n'est pas trop tôt ou pas trop tard. Juste à temps, mais je me suis rendu compte que le rendez-vous n'est même pas venu à la place puisque personne n'a ouvert la porte et des tonnes de courrier qui attendaient devant les portes.⚜️ C'était bizarre et étrange en regardant dans le garage fantomatique et la petite réception. ⚜️Ensuite, je devais aller vers un autre endroit et payer non pas le prix budgétisé, mais un peu plus que d'habitude. ⚜️Enfin, j'ai appris une leçon douloureuse du modèle commercial décontracté Midas et qui n'ose jamais prendre rendez-vous lorsque tout le monde ne vient jamais tenir le rendez-vous et le respecter puis avancer de toute façon possible, etc. ⚜️Je suis tout simplement sincère et franchement sincère mais modestement décent aussi, ce qui est une autre manière française. Pas de blague à tout prix. ⚜️Ça m'a rendu un peu fou, fumant et frustré à l'intérieur car je devais aller à l'emplacement suivant qui ne me faisait pas un campeur heureux. ⚜️Car il est logique de passer à travers les mouvements de moi-même tous ensemble de cet endroit à un autre dans l'église des chutes parce que je pensais avoir beaucoup appris en si peu de temps doux tous ensemble.⚜️ J'espère qu'il y a une sorte de réduction spéciale française pour moi la prochaine fois où personne n'était là pour prendre ma voiture à l'intérieur. ⚜️Je vais dire un autre vrai dicton dans la politique mondiale française et francophonie disant: «Ne vous mêlez pas aux Français sinon nous utiliserions nos cartes françaises fortes et puissantes comme la diplomatie française et le veto français à tout prix. ⚜️Quoi qu'il en soit, Dieu bénisse et Jésus t'aime.
