Do not take your vehicle here for any service I don’t care if you just need a bulb change. I took two of my vehicle here for an oil change one came back with a tapping noise and my other vehicle you could smell the oil burning through the vent. One of the mechanic told the manager we don’t have the right oil to fit the vehicle….so he went out in the shop and said something to him. So I’m assuming everything is good they’re order the right oil to be delivered. 3 weeks later the oil light came on low oil pressure never had this problem with no other service station…Took it back now they’re saying something else is wrong with the truck. There’s a recall on the vehicle just making up anything to say instead of taking responsibility for your mistake, putting the wrong oil in because the business is thirsty for money. Further action will be taken to get my vehicle back to the proper way it was running before it came to that unprofessional business.

Please trust me when I say this, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE FOR AN OIL CHANGE! I took my 2018 Volkswagen Atlas here for an oil change because of the “coupon” that they were offering. Biggest mistake ever for my vehicle! An oil change from MIDAS ON DECKER BLVD TURNED INTO LOUD TAPPING NOISES FROM MY CAR THAT WAS NOT THERE PRIOR TO BRINGING MY VEHICLE TO THEM! I have called the corporate number and they Don’t CARE EITHER! I have also called the store 3 times and they won’t respond! On October 17th I took my vehicle to Midas on Decker Blvd for an oil change because of their coupons. While I’m sitting in the lobby waiting on my oil change to be completed, an employee walks up to the little window and stated that they didn’t have the oil for my vehicle. Well the (manager) walked outside and authorized them to change the oil anyway! I know should have recorded. He walked back in like normal and maybe 30 mins goes by and they were done, two weeks later or my oil light comes indicating that it needs oil. I was livid! Took it back to them 11/11 and it still making the tapping sounds. No one wants to respond! EDIT: TURNS OUT THEY USED THE WRONG OIL!!!!

The staff at Midas on Decker Blvd in Columbia, are very kind, caring & professional. They absolutely went over & anbove any regular obligations to me as their customer. They extended every possible courtesy to me to ensure my safety & satisfaction. As it turns out, I was over an hour away from home & my car broke down nearly right in front in of the shop. Although I was stranded, I can say with confidence that they did not use my precarious position to take advantage. Tyrone, Justin & all of the other staff provided every resource possible to get me through this situation. Many thanks to all of them! Midas, thank you for employing tradesmen with integrity.

I would give them no stars . The guy working front registrar told me for 16 weeks that he was searching for a part for my car. Then he told me the repair would require 5 hours and 45 mins i called their sister shops and they all confirmed the job would take less than 1hr but they would have to charge me for an hour. After i called shop on decker to tell them i watched a youtube video regarding my repair plus i called sister shops and the job isnt a almost 6 hour job. Also the guy in front stated midas charge $199 per hour and my bill was at $1300 that did not include the part. After i questioning their service the manager their told me that since i did not want to accept the liabilty of paying $1300 i should take my car else where to have it repaired. My car had been sitting there for months and would have to be towed if moved. I asked him why midas in other areas said it would take less than 1 hour why cant i just be charged to fix my car nothing over. The manager felt as if i challeged him intectually. I than attempted to contact corporate and found out the number you contact for corporate is just people answering the call the business is franchise. Which means when a company is franchise and not corporate the costumer complaints are not handled accordingly nor ethically. Decisions are handled with no care. With all the money they cheat people out of the door gets stuck open going in and out. Also after contacting 1800 the manager at the store told me he spoke with the director named Justin and the director agreed that i should tow my car. It made no since that my car had been there that long because they said they were trying to find the part. Yet they would charge me for almost 6 hours when it required less than one hour. The car needed a bushing for shifting cable which was connected to shifter gear in car which only required them to remove the console and add bushing. That man told me they had to drop my transmission. If you dont mind getting ripped off than handled like trash an the end with no remorse go there. i towed my car with pride nothing made sense. Once i found out there was no corporate and it was a franchise it answered the question to why so many people where entering about repairs that where incomplete or done incorrectly.

My truck was having air pump issues and I dropped it off on a Thursday. After getting inspected they ordered the part and quoted me a price to fix it, then after the repairs started they found the valves also needed to get changed and said they can have it done on Friday and gave me a second quote for $400 more, irratating but I understood. On Friday another rep calls and says, oh sorry we quoted you the wrong price and got the wrong part and had to increase the price by $300!! They have upped the price by $700 from the original quote and drag it over 3 days!!

Came in to get an oil change only. They looked at my tires and showed me that I needed 4 new tires. They wasn’t just trying to up-sale me but took me out and showed me my tires and I definitely appreciate that. The store manager Tyrone went above and beyond along with Justin to get them ordered and picked up today. This location is the only one I will come too because they have great customer service. Thank you guys for all that you do.

Sooo I waited 2 months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure that I wasn't prematurely giving a 5-star rating. I visited Midas to get my AC fixed in April (replaced the resistor & cabin filter). They did not disappoint. Amber was so extremely helpful. She discussed an action plan with me that was affordable for my budget. The pricing was fair, the customer service was excellent, and it didn't take forever to fix my issue. By the time we were all done, I gave Amber a biggggg hug. This was my first time going to an auto mechanic shop and NOT feeling like I was being duped or taken advantage of. My AC is blowing cold as ever as we've been consistently in this 90s temperature. I'll be back soon for my oil change 💛

Tyrone, Brandon, and Emmit really helped me out today with my Honda Crv. When I called in Emmit was friendly and patient with my questions for towing my truck to them. When I got there Tyrone greeted me and gave me the game plan for the repairs on my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle Tyronne took me for a test drive to ensure quality work and to inform me of what is coming up for the next repair needed on my car that he could detect. Emmit an d Brandon finalized my invoice and I was back rolling all in one day !! Keep up the great work you THREE!!
