If you wanna be treat right don't go to this location horrible customer service. I came at 8:00am for service waited more than an hour for them to tell me their guy was running late. The manager is just horrible!!! Save your time and money and go to a different location!!

Took appointment for 11.30am for service, drove to this service center which is 22 miles from my home and staff says today it can not be serviced as per service center owner's instruction and I had to visit here again on Monday. If they can't service my car today then why did they confirm appointment at 8.45am same morning. Pathetic. Will not visit Midas henceforth.

What’s the point of making an appointment if nobody shows up to open? I scheduled an appointment for 7:30a, gave it 15 minutes and still no one showed up. What a waste of a Saturday morning.

I recently had a terrible experience with a tire and oil change at Midas. I paid upfront for a new tire, expecting the service to take a few hours; instead, it took over a day. Worse, they stripped two of my wheel studs. I needed the car ready promptly, as I was moving to a nearby city for graduate school and a new job. The delays disrupted my schedule. The front desk attendant, whose name was either Travis or Trevor, appeared tired and unprofessional, wearing a sleeveless undershirt. I noticed what looked like track marks on his arms. While I couldn’t be certain, his demeanor and behavior gave me a gut feeling that they probably were. Upon completion, he informed me they could only secure three out of four lug nuts and advised against driving on it. Pressed for time, I agreed to handle the missing lug nut myself. When the replacement lug nuts arrived, I discovered only two were fully fastened; the third was halfway on, with visible damage suggesting it had been hammered. Multiple mechanics, including friends and other shops I consulted for quotes, confirmed the improper handling. Travis or Trevor had downplayed the severity of the issue, suggesting I could drive carefully until fixing the fourth lug nut. But he did technically inform me that It wasn’t a good idea, with like a winky face and shoulder shrug kind’ve vibe that suggested, you’ll be fine as long as you replace it soon. Not mentioning at all how bad they messed up the studs. But he mentioned it enough so that when I seen how it really was he could say, “he always covers his butt.” And he did, yes, technically he did. The whole vibe of the customer service was that Midas is essentially an enemy, who is on the defensive for their shitty service, not a friendly and trustworthy company. Now I have to get new studs and have my car at another shop for more money amidst one of the busiest weeks of my life. Given the situation and the shop’s condition, I chose not to return to Midas. However, due to the inconvenience and repair costs, I called to seek a resolution. Travis or Trevor responded unprofessionally, interrupting me, providing inconsistent information, and hanging up multiple times when I expressed frustration. The poor service and dismissive customer care turned a simple tire change into a significant ordeal. I should have gone elsewhere; I recommend you do the same. Mind you I didn’t notice how bad condition is that is apparent in the picture because I have one of those crappy wheel covers that goes over the wheel, and I just couldn’t have imagined upon leaving that they would’ve actually sent me out like this. I guess I was spoiled by having a trustworthy mechanic for so many years in a row before this. I didn’t think I had to be so vigilant but now I know.

JAVIER IS AMAZING! I was on my way to pick up my daughter in 36° weather, in the rain from school. I realized my tire was completely flat and had a panic attack. I pulled into Midas and Javier welcomed me in with his gentle calm nature, changed my tire, and sent me on my way in 10 minutes! I highly recommend MIDAS and Javier! Javier remained calm and kept me grounded while I went through that stressful time! Thanks, JAVIER!

Came to Midas for a pressure test/leak test, before a long road trip! everyone was super friendly on the phone, and in the shop! They were able to get me in and out pretty quick. Definitely recommend this place! Great to have in the neighborhood. Thanks guys

Had an appointment at 7:30 this morning. Service was terrible and waited without any communication from the manager until after 12:30. Mechanic brought me the keys, no manager or any other employees there to check me out. Finally another mechanic came in and, even though I could have walked out without payment, I asked to be checked out. The mechanic went to get the manager from the office. When he came out, it appeared as though he had been sleeping. Ridiculous.

I had a good experience here. What I’m not okay with, is the fact that the employee at the front was clearly sick/exhausted and he told me that you guys still made him come in. That’s not cool, treat people better. I could care less if I had to wait longer because someone was sick, I’m not coming back to Midas because of this because if they can’t treat their employers right…imagine what else is going on.

Unfortunately, this will be the last time I use Midas after multiple issues with them over the last couple of services. This time around, I came in for a tire rotation, an alignment, and an oil change. There were several red flags about this service, but I want to highlight the main issue which was that my tires were clearly not rotated (at least one tire stayed in the rear position, which should never be the case after a rotation). After noticing, I called the shop and requested the workers give me detail on the tire rotation -- both techs who worked on my vehicle "didn't remember how, but the tires were rotated". When I highlighted that some of the tires were in the exact same position, they didn't know what to say and didn't make any offers of clarifying/rectifying it (I had to outwardly request rectification myself after going back and forth). Now I can't even say for sure if my alignment was actually done, which is a costly service... Now I will likely have to spend the money again, at a place I trust more, and this will have been an expensive lesson that I should have learned last time. Be warned, this place is cheaper than most, but you may just be paying for nothing at all.

Horrible. I had a sensor replaced at the Midas in Dallas. 4 weeks later the engine light came on again. When I went in to Austin location, to have it diagnosed, it was unclear that they intended to charge me another diagnostic charge of $178. The recommendation was to replace a different sensor. When I asked why the first sensor did not fix the situation, the associate became very irritated and told me to do it or pay the diagnostic bill and go somewhere else. They refused to give me my keys until I paid. Two other associates came out and surrounded me. Being afraid, I simply paid. It was horrible.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! Do not take your car here. Came for an oil change that turned out my oil pan was broken took a month of waiting to get my car. Finally was ready to pick up and had to turn around for them to reattach my skid plate that they didn’t tighten because it was scraping while driving. I Decided to take it to Nissan dealership for another oil change after Midas “fixed it” just for them to tell me the part was broken in a different spot. When I called and asked Walker the manager where he bought the oil pan from which Nissan dealership so I could use the warranty he refused to give me any information, and acted extremely sketchy and defiant about giving me any information on where he bought the part after reassuring me it was a Nissan part. Come to find out that the part he bought my car was not a real Nissan branded oil pan so how much money he scammed is crazy (I was charged $1200 for part and labor). Broken part, aftermarket part, and now I just found out that these people cut my skid plate under my car in half to work on the oil pan now leaving me with no skid plate and oil pan that needs fixing. Walker refused to refund me my money so I will be reporting him and this Midas to corporate. Ridiculous! Do not take your car here just go to your car brand dealership it’s not that over priced at least the Nissan one isn’t, and I wish I would of done that then trust these people with a brand new vehicle.

Scam If I could give less then 1 star I would. It takes a lot for me to give a bad review. Was told that a bundle deal of brakes and rotors was 400$ front and back. He really made it sound like it was for both, but they got me for 400$ each 800$ total. Maybe they should explain to the customers what the total price is gonna be instead of leaving this grey area where your not technically lying. I couldn't afford it financially when the job was done, was told they can put the old rotors and brakes on for a extra labor cost. All I wanted to do was fix the squeaking noise my brakes were making they talked me into saying it was all 4 of my brakes and rotors. Then when that was all finished told me it was my wheel bearing. I drove off noticed my stud for my lug nut was missing. Drove back he told me I believe you I'll fix it tomorrow. I noticed my other lug nut wasn't even tightened on all the way, asked him if he could tighten it he said damn they told me they broke one stud for the lug nut, but they didn't tell me this other studs about to break too I can't tighten it all the way. Why wouldn't you tell the customer if you broke it. I'm honestly scared to even bring my car back there just to get that fixed for free. Only positive thing I can say is they discounted me 100$ I guess for my wheel bearing and stayed late to fix my car so I could go to work the next morning even though I gave them my car around 1. Update didn't even fix the problem my wheels still scrapping and ABS light won't turn off.

They did an amazing job. I got there about 30 minutes after they opened. They explained the different types of oil I could use for my particular make and model and the different costs associated. They changed my oil and had me in and out in 30 minutes.

WARNING DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SERVICES. I had purchased a Groupon for an alignment at this location. I went to drop the vehicle off and the gentleman tells me they will try to do the alignment… Im puzzled and ask what does he mean? He says if there is anything that needs to be serviced in order for him to perform the alignment he wont be able to do it until it is serviced. It was a bit weird they spoke in this manner so quickly but i brushed it off. The next day after about 9 hours being open, I didnt receive a call from them so i decided to call. The same person tells me the bolt on my tie rods are seized and I would need to get new tie rods to perform the alignment… I thought to myself this man is either incompetent or is trying to scam me. I decided to not opt for the recommended services and took it straight to a local competitor (Firestone). They performed the alignment with NO ISSUE. I asked if the tie rods were seized and they said nothing out of the ordinary. I would definitely look elsewhere for your vehicle services as this place either doesn't know what they are doing or is just being dishonest for financial gain.

Walker and the entire staff were AMAZING! I’ve never been to an autoshop where I’ve gotten exactly what I came for without being pushed 100 other things needed for my car lol. But, they DID NOT do that! They gave me exactly what I came for with NO HASSLE! And it took WAY LESS time than was expected! I’ll be back for my next oil change!

Great service and I definitely recommend Midas! I am a woman in my late 20’s with little to no knowledge of cars so going to an auto-shop I trust that will not try to price gouge me, or tell me something on my car needs repairs when it does not, is something that will make me into a loyal customer. I’ve gone to several Midas and each time the service is quick, and the employees are respectful and kind. I always do my research on average pricing and even will call around to other auto-shops for repairs on my car and Midas always comes lowest and is even willing to price match. Thank you for the great service and making me trust auto-shops!
