Mike is always helpful by telling you what exactly is wrong. He will even tell you that the mechanic you went to before him was incorrect and will save you about $300. Been going to him ever since and will continue until one of us moves. Mike you are amazing!!!

Michael is the most honest mechanic I know. If he doesn't do a particular type of vehicle repair he will say so. If he does, you can count on the work to be done properly and at a reasonable price.

i've gone here twice for quick fixes on my car (securing something loose under my car and checking my tires) and michael has always fit me in and never charged me. he's friendly, efficient, and good at what he does!

Honest and very well priced. Always communicates his findings with a lot of detail. Can take a long time to get your car in, but it's well worth the wait.

I moved here relatively recently and was anxious to find a good mechanic like the one I had in my hometown. Mike is great! I had to book ahead a little ways, but it was worth the wait for the quality, speed, and cost of service. I know where I'm going for my future repair needs!

Just got my older car back with work on the rear suspension and and oil change - and Michael's wife Kelly came and got me so I could get my repaired car - wonderful people, good service, reasonable prices, and convenient location. I will be using this repair shop again and again.

Excellent Service! Michael's Automotive mechanics are honest and trustworthy! They have fixed my vehicles for over twenty years. Never had a problem or issue with any of my auto repairs. They will communicate with you up front as to what needs to be fixed right away or if something may need repaired soon. Highly recommend this place for auto repairs and oil changes!

I've been going to the same dealership on the east side of Indy for several years. Sometimes I get great service and Sometimes I don't. My last trip they pretty much told me my car had A LOT of miles on it and I should probably be thinking about trading it in. In this economy...no way. I started going to another dealership on the north side of Indy. I got great service and never once did they say anything about my high mileage vehicle. I don't want to make that drive up north just to have my car serviced. I went to my trusty friend, Google, and found Michael's Automotive. He schedules appointments and doesn't overbook for more work than he can handle. He explains things so anyone can understand. His pricing is fair and doesn't have all the mark up the "stealer"ships do. This is a family owned business that has been around for a while so it's not a here today gone tomorrow shop. I'm confident if you start taking your vehicle here you may never go anywhere else; it might take a while to get on the schedule but don't let that deter you. Top notch mechanic and excellent customer service.

Mike and his team are great. Mike himself is very explanatory and straightforward, which I appreciate. He did a whole round of fixes on my older car. I would just recommend making an appointment way in advance. Because he is so popular on this side of town, his books are almost always jam packed. I trust him with all my car needs.

Mike is one of those small town mechanics you hear about on TV sitcoms. He does the job right, goes above and beyond. He has worked on my mom's vehicles and mine when I don't have time to either fix it myself or it's too much work for me to complete in a reasonable amount of time. Stopped into Michael’s today because I remembered hearing about this shop word of mouth from the neighborhood. The experience I had with them was wonderful! I needed my tires aired up and originally had made an appt at the east side Pep Boys location, but no one showed up so I left. I explained what happened at Michael’s and they were fast at helping me air up my tires and at no charge. Very welcoming atmosphere too, if I need other things tuned up or fixed on my car I’ll be visiting again!

I will never visit another auto mechanic before checking with Michael’s Automotive. Michael is a true professional and cares about the local community. Traveling from out of town and was in need of an oil change. I stopped to see if they would be able to fit me in. Michael was extremely polite and worked with me on getting my car serviced. He was honest and fair. I am in and out of Indy often, and will definitely return here for any future automobile needs!
