I have been using Metric Motors for over 5 yrs for all of my Audi A4 car service, hands down the best. Jose and Andy are always friendly, courteous and go out of their way to explain all the repair work. And they stand by their service. I highly recommend them!!!

I brought my Audi A3 to Metric Motors in October 2024 for a regular inspection, oil change, and to check out some noise coming from the rear suspension. Initially, I was a bit concerned due to some mixed reviews about the recent ownership change, but I honestly don't know what those people are talking about because this place couldn't be any better! Jose not only identified the noise immediately but went above and beyond by reaching out to the mechanic who had installed the wrong struts in my car about 1.5 years ago. He managed to convince that mechanic to fix the issue for free! (Jose even mentioned he could fix it himself but didn’t want me to spend extra on repairs, which speaks volumes about his integrity.) Metric Motors is truly a gem, filled with honesty, expertise, and kindness. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else from now on. A special thanks to Angelina as well—she’s incredibly sweet and helpful!

They ordered a part for me and in the mean time the problem resolved itself with a new battery. I offered to pay for the part but they graciously declined and said they would hold it for a week and then return it if my status held.

You know the business is reliable and trustworthy when they don’t try to rip you off . Lol I took my BMW for annoying alarm on dash board . After checking the car without charge, Jose said this is nothing dangerous and assured ok to drive without being it replace right away . I really appreciated his honesty and all of my friends who own BMW bring their cars here and are very happy about the service.

Honest, professional, and efficient service! Joel and Jose have saved me so much time and money over the years. Each time the Audi Dealership told me I had to make expensive repairs, I took my car here for a second opinion. Joel or Jose either did the repairs at a fraction of the quoted cost from Audi or flat-out told me that no repairs were needed with no charge for the inspection. Easily the best car garage I’ve ever gone to. I give it my highest recommendation!

I VERY HIGHLY recommend Jose & Metric Motors for anyone looking for an honest, affordable and dependable service shop to go to. After a really bad experience at the dealer, I took a chance on Metric Motors to tell me like it is and give me a fair assessment of what I needed to take care of on my 2011 BMW. I take excellent care of this car and they recognized it, but also gave me a very fair price on the work that needed to be done. The initial repair work for a leak was done quickly, on time and with no other "hidden" things wrong diagnosed with the car, unlike previous experiences with other folks. I had to take her in again for an air conditioning change (that saved my life in this last heat spell), also a really positive experience. Thank You Jose & team!

Jose is the best! I was able to schedule an appointment and get my car serviced within two days. Jose did an excellent job in replacing my brake pads and even fixed my wiper blades that were not properly aligned. I highly recommend Jose and his team and I’ll be coming back for all my future repairs.

Very good technicians, owner knows his stuff. Price is extremely competitive. Whatever work your German car needs, it's best to have it done here. I wouldn't pay double for dealership work that's sub par.

Was in SF for a few days, needed to get my brake pads changed asap, they did it for less than the competition and helped me with a few more lights I had on. The next day my trunk wasn’t working anymore I went there and they gave it a look and helped me out a bit more. Best garage I’ve been in this country. Thanks for everything 🙏

I had the best experience with Metric Motors. They were able to replace my parts all in one day. Joel was extremely professional, and I mentioned that I needed to replace a rear tire due to a screw I saw. They looked at it and turns out it didn’t even penetrate the tire. They saved me from spending money on a tire that I didn’t even need. I absolutely love this place and they are my forever mechanics to my Benz. I highly recommend them. These guys know what they are doing. Thank you Metric Motors.

Joel and Jose are pleasant to talk to and they listened to what my concern was with my car. First time I go to this place and so far my car is running good after getting fixed. They get very busy so depending the problem it might take longer as expected.

Joel and his team are the absolute best. I'm so glad I found them when I moved back to SF. I finally found a decent repair shop with a rad service advisor in SoCal when I had to move back to SF (Thanks Covid). I was worried I wouldn't find anyone honest or well priced in the area. Thankfully after having a few convos with places in the area I decided on Metric Motors. Joel and the team were able to help diagnose the complicated problem with my car and give me an honest quote of what I should absolutely fix and other problems I could maybe wait a few months on. Surprisingly, money has yet to grow on trees so I can't fix everything all at once. I HIGHLY recommend this shop! I've been back a few times for maintenance and the team has done solid work on my car and even gotten it back to me the same day. They're really nice people.

These guys know what they are doing, and will not rip you off. In fact, I don't think they charge enough for the level of service provided. They diagnosed my Mini turbo and quoted a price 1/5 what the dealer wanted for the same job. I wish I had found them years ago.

I have a 2011 Audi A3. I rarely write reviews but was absolutely floored by these guys. The service and quality of this shop is second to none - I honestly don’t believe any of the 1 star reviews, must be competition. I first went in 5 months ago for an oil change that was fair price to say the least but it was done within an hour and Joel was the friendliest mechanic I’ve ever met (I know that’s not saying much, but trust me). Also worth noting is that the first person I interacted with had special needs and he told me that Joel had hired him on for 15-20 hours a week to help around the shop - at this point I was committed to the shop. I’ve been back twice for complications with my car and the service has always been super friendly and prompt, and the price is on the cheaper side - especially for SF. I’ve worked in construction my whole life and deal with shops and mechanics on a regular basis. This isn’t your everyday shop. I couldn’t recommend more!

One of the best if not the best independent European garage I've ever done business with. Honest, friendly, and experts at their craft, I've gone back multiple times now because I trust them with my car. I have an E39 M5, and most shops either want to gouge me or don't know what they're doing. The only potential drawback is they are pretty busy (always a good sign for an Indy), but if you want quality service at reasonable prices, look no further.

Tachometer went out on my '89 Speedster. After three weeks and a rebuild car was returned to me with no explanation of the damage done to other electrical instruments. 6 weeks later after sourcing the parts I was able to get the instruments back in working order. My estimate is that Metric Motors did about $850 damage to my car. The worst!
