Mercedes-Benz of South Austin is convenient to my home, so I was glad to have my vehicle serviced there instead of the Airport Blvd. location which I've been using for years. While the service center gets a lot of things right in terms of technology, my service representative was less than ideal. Communicating was difficult, follow-ups and status updates were slow and lacking detail. One area of concern listed on the vehicle evaluation was a body trim issue. I asked for clarification, but did not receive one and it went unrepaired. When I asked about it when I picked up the vehicle my service representative could not give me an answer and I was asked if I watched the technician's walk around video, which I did, and the issue was not mentioned. It was finally determined it had something to do with hoses. Questions remain. Additionally, the tire pressure notification on the instrument panel was not cleared. Not a big deal, but the small things matter. Nevertheless, leaving my vehicle for service is an inconvenience and in comparison, the Airport Blvd. location is more effective. I'll be returning there from now on.

Well, I know well that maintenance is pricey when owning a MB. So I saw on their website the "basic oil change" for the price of $250.00. So I booked it, and when I sat down with the service agent, after dropping off my car. He checks the history and maintenance records and we decide all I really need is the basic oil change, he says "$330 dollars for the oil change" I immediately say on your website it says $250.00. He immediately agreed, that he can do that. I just don't understand how he can quote an elevated amount, when it says on the Website $250.00. They were able to get me a loaner, so at least I didn't have to wait. He quoted an hour, but it took over 2 hours. Then when I got in my car after leaving to go home, the low window washing fluid was lit up. I've seen the indicator a couple of times, I just assumed it would be filled, for any service. So I called the service guy and asked about it. It made me wonder if they actually opened my hood at all. He went on to say that they would check it for a full service, but not for the oil change. He did say, I could bring it back and he would fill it free of charge. I just was a lil frustrated, that a expensive high end dealership would allow any car out of there garage, with out checking basic fluid levels.

I had an emergency flat tire and Jax was able to work me in, get my annual servicing done, and set me up in a quiet corner where I could continue to work for a few hours. Great experience!

In the past I used Mercedes of Austin on Airport drive. After a flat tire, the tow truck took my car to MBZ of South Austin. Jax let me know he had the car and the plans to fix the problem. He was energetic and incredibly helpful. He stayed in contact to keep me posted of progress. He’s the biggest reason the next car I buy will be from MBZ South Austin. Fantastic service means everything to me!

The service department here is top notch. Work is done quickly and with high quality. Also, the service advisors are knowledgeable and keep you informed. The service director runs a tight ship. It’s the only place in Austin I get my Mercedes’ serviced at. Highly recommended!

We've taken both our 2013 GL550 (for major repairs) and my 2009 SL 63 and had excellent service and care. We have purchased long term insurance from MB of SAustin covering everything. I'd highly recommend them to you!!!

For context this was my first time getting service at this dealership. My Mercedes service was A+++. It was super easy to book my appointment. When I arrived at the dealership, I was immediately greeted by the service technician. We talked through why I was there and what was going on with the car. They brought out the mechanic to ride with me so I could show them what was going on. I’ve never been able to talk directly to the mechanic for a service appointment, it gave me a lot of confidence to be able to speak directly with them and know they saw the problem I was experiencing with the car. I was given a ride home with a valet driver and the dealership dropped my car off at my home the next day. Overall getting a ride home and having my car delivered the next day saved me SO MUCH time! It was painless. My car is driving great and I think they got to the actual issue. I would not hesitate to purchase from, or get service from, this dealership! Fantastic!

This was my second time servicing my vehicle at this Mercedes-Benz location. The service was great and Jax my advisor has excellent customer service skills.
