Had an absolutely fantastic experience with the guys here! They really went above and beyond to help me out with both my car and getting my warranty info over to CarMax. Ernest Sanchez was so great and patient with me, and didn't make me feel lesser because I didn't know much about the technical side of what was wrong with my car. I will definitely continue to come here for any issues I have, and my husband has also began to use them! I am editing this to add that I have a 2016 Honda CRV and my husband drives a BMW, and they treated both cars equally with top notch services for both types. Thanks again, everyone that works over there!

Over the weekend, my granddaughter's starter on her 2010 Honda Civic went out. Without hesitation I called Mendo Motorz for assistance. Talked to Mike and he courteously assisted me with an appointment to do the work. Arrived on Monday, the earliest I could get a tow truck to get there, around 11am, talked to Ernest, got checked and by 1:30pm was told my car was ready. Oh my, talk about lightning speed service! Never been serviced so fast anywhere and with great courtesy!!! Thank you so much Mendo Motorz. You've made a repeat customer very happy. Update to Starter problem: SOLD ON MENDO MOTORZ!!! The starter smoked and went out again on my granddaughter's Honda CIVIC two months after having it repaired as noted above. Mendo Motorz courteously took the car in to look at the problem and fix it. Well, it was a faulty starter. I am so very impressed with Mendo Motorz on how quickly they initiated repair on the Honda Civic and called me to tell me it was ready for pickup and get this, NO CHARGE because the repair was well within the documented warranty period. This is the first time I have had a repair done free of charge. I am SOLD on Mendo Motorz and highly recommend the to anyone needing automotive repair. Thank You Mendo Motorz. 02/05/2025.

AMAZING!! The current service was out of this world. My car didn’t start Christmas Eve. Was the first one there after Christmas. Ernest met me at the front desk with a welcoming greeting and got my car in the bay immediately. They did amazing work. They aren’t trying to rip you off. Very honest and trust worthy mechanic shop. I’m so glad I found a shop I can trust. Would recommend 100%!! P.s. their friendly nature was to everyone who walked into the door.

Found these guys after receiving subpar work from another “highly-rated” garage. Can’t say enough good things about them. Kevin’s honest without any BS, tells me what I need and more importantly what I don’t. Works done right the first time and most repairs come with a 12 month service guarantee when they supply the parts. These are the only guys I’ll be bringing my vehicles to from here on out. Highly recommend!

I researched a bunch of places in SA looking for a fair shop. This is the place to go. Mike was super helpful and Ernest was THE MAN These guys definitely know their stuff and cut out what you don’t need. Ask for Ernest because he definitely knows what he’s talking about. This shop helped me in a bind and I will definitely go back here in the future

If I can rate this shop 10stars, I would definitely give this shop 10stars. I would like to thank all the mechanics of this shop. The workmanship and work ethics are OUTSTANDING. I would also want to thank the man, MR KEVIN! Very straightforward, honest, and the most important thing is his "concern and care" for the customer and the vehicle. He will give you all the updates and follow up about the vehicle. NO unnecessary recommendations just to get money from customers. For a customer like me that is so important and helpful. I treat my vehicles like family. I take care of them like my kids. Mendo Motorz showed that care and concern that I am looking for a automotive repair shop. Thank you so much to MR KEVIN and the whole MENDO MOTORZ TEAM! I also want to thank MR MIKE for always assisting me with my questions on weekends. My 2019 Dodge Durango and My 2018 Chrysler Pacifica now found a new automotive repair shop and that's "MENDO MOTORZ".

I’ve been taking my cars to Mendo Motorz for a couple years and they’ve been very reasonable. Work has always been done correctly and the service team has done everything within the promised schedule and price range. Great to do business with fellow veterans in this area.

These guys are incredible! My car has been very slow to start the last couple weeks. I thought it was my battery or my alternator. I took it to AutoZone since I have a warranty on my battery with them. The guy there runs a 10 second test then pushes me out the door with a $330 alternator. I then call Mendo Motorz and talk to Ernest Sanchez about putting it in. He finds time same day, quotes me up front what it will cost, and what time he'll be done. He then calls me at the exact time he said he would, and explains it's not the alternator but the battery and gives some reasons why. He went ahead and did a small fix to help the car, and told me to go back to AutoZone and return the alternator. I'm blown away by the awesome service here. Super honest, great communication, and reasonable price. I'll definitely be coming back next time I have car problems, which I will have, because I have what my 3 year old refers to as "a poo car." Thanks again for everything, and God bless all of you here! Updating my review. I've used these guys for multiple other cars, and have had the same quality every time. Kevin even showed me the parts he switched out, and why they were faulty. They're a great balance of quality and price. They've worked on my Mazda, Nissan, and Dodge, and have done a great job. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Awesome job. I had transmission issues and needed it rebuilt because it’s a 99 Lexus RX 300. It took a little longer than expected but my vehicle had other issues like the ECM module that they were able to repair thank goodness. I am very happy with there work and customer service Kevin is awesome to work with.

It's hard to say enough good things about my first experience with Mendo Motorz. The service was first-rate, they went above and beyond what I expected, and they did it all on the same day I asked for the service despite the extra work that was discovered during the initial dianostics. They provided complimentary shuttle service to/from my home in Windcrest, and their price quote was right on the money!
