Had Mel's replace brakes on my wife's car about 5,000 miles ago and they started pulsing like warped rotors. Stopped in to ask about it and Mel said they had a few problems with the part vendor lately. He shook my hand, said he would replace them free, and then did just that. Now that is service and integrity! They took care of this fast and were super friendly. Thank you Mel's!

They refuse to flair a brake line. What kind of shop refuses simple work the lady on the phone was also extremely rude

Mel was extremely rude and dismissive on an initial phone call. He made it sound like I was inconveniencing him by asking for an initial quote. Based off my one interaction with Mel I would not recommend.

I’m new to the area and had an issue with a check engine light and a headlight on my 2018 Yukon. I came in to see if they could schedule me and they just came right out and hooked up to my vehicle with diagnostic equipment immediately. They were very fair and honest and got me squared away quickly! Mel and his crew are integrity driven and very nice to deal with. I would 10 out of 10 recommend using Mel’s Auto Repair for anyone in need of a mechanic! Thank you guys!

10/10 experience. Would highly recommend Mel’s for your repairs and diagnostics. They go above and beyond when it comes to explaining things and their customer service is unmatched. They really do take pride in their work and they treat every vehicle as if it were their friends or family. So you know you will be taken care of. I won’t take my car anywhere else for repairs/maintenance. I really appreciate how fair they are with their prices. It’s made very clear that they value you as a customer. Thank you Greg and Mel! You two are wonderful!

Honestly, the best experience I have ever had working with an auto repair shop. Very kind, quick to help - called about 12 minutes before closing with a crisis - my car was violently shaking while accelerating. I called and spoke to Wade - he told me over the phone that he believed my car was misfiring and to bring it in regardless of the time. I arrived, he ran the test and it resulted in my 3rd cylinder misfiring and before leaving the same night, he gave me an estimated cost, and that it would be done the following day. The following day they called me at noon, my car was finished and it was $20 less than what was quoted. They are fast, they are honest, they are kind and I will be returning for all future work needed. Thank you so much for all your help!

Mel is honest, straight forward, polite and courteous. He has worked on two of my trucks. When my elderly mother needed her car worked on, I took her to Mel's. He and Wade treated her wonderfully. I really appreciate the great service here. Another year later, still the same great service.
