I began taking my car to Meineke when I moved to Westchase in 2018 and thought I’d found THE place for all of my car care needs. I went to them based on positive recommendations and the assurance of professional service. Unfortunately, my experience has not met those expectations. I continue to encounter the same issues with the serpentine belt on my Honda CRV. This is their third attempt to fix the problem and they just can’t get it right. They continue to replace the serpentine belt, but they don’t care to find the issue as to why the belt continues to unravel within a couple of months of replacement. Are they replacing the belt with a faulty one or are the mechanics not skilled enough to find the issue? I don’t know the answer to that question, but I’ve paid them a lot of money for a repair they are unable to complete. I picked up my car on Friday and I already can tell you that they again didn’t get it right. My vehicle is making the same squeaking, grinding sounds it makes before the serpentine belt goes out. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in Meineke. The photo below is attempt number three. The owner will send the same message “sorry we fell short, give us another try,” But they can never get it right. Cloe Cabrera

I brought my daughters 2004 Hyundai Elantra in for work several months ago. It has 142,000 miles on it. They replaced the front control arms, all 4 shock struts, fuel pump, front brakes, the valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and wires, coil, and timing belt and tensioner. The work they did was excellent and outstanding in every aspect. I’m so glad they were the ones who took all of the parts we purchased and installed them. She’s keeping her car for a long time. The Meineke on Hillsborough Ave is the only place I go for auto repair. Greg and his staff of mechanics are outstanding! Her car runs better than ever...I’m a Meineke customer for life! I started going here when they first opened and needed customers. I referred my family. Well, now that they are busy they never have time for me anymore. It’s frustrating because I have needed help on multiple occasions for repairs or trip checks, and I’m always turned away. I’m done. Seriously, you can’t do a five minute check to make sure I’m going to make it safe on my trip? Boooooo

It was quick and easy to get in to get my car looked at. Customer service was great. I would totally use their location for oil changes, brakes, ect. Unfortunately, they could not duplicate the burning smell even after a 20 minute test drive. The next day the smell is still there. It’s on a Mercedes so I can’t blame them for not having a ton of knowledge on a luxury car when it’s not their area of expertise. Overall good experience.

This is my go to shop. Never had a problem getting an appointment always upfront about what’s wrong with the Vehicle. I trust him with my family’s vehicles. Definitely use them again.

They may not honor their warranties. Find workarounds to charge more. AC repair be ready for >2k which may or may not guarantee you will have AC. Manager Chris Seils ( completely devoid of personality) or staff will play shell game when routing you to franchise owner. Will remove review if I ever hear back from someone that actually cares. Attached charge took my warranty covered AC bill over 2 k. Those at this location could not have cared less

I brought my 69 F100 in to have the AC checked out. I saw a few other classics around the shop and knew I was at the right place. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it…..AC blows ice cold.

I simply never ever leave reviews anywhere at all positive or negative, but I had to leave a quick review for this shop. They were super friendly, quick and most importantly did not try to sell me absolutely anything as they usually try to do at places like this, and note that there were a couple reasons that for sure they could had legitimately tried to sell me some additional items/services so thank you guys. Bonus: the shop itself is very comfy with live TV, free snacks, coffee fountain drinks, and even a public computer and work station 👍🏻

Meineke has been our go to place for auto services. They are nice, have always been fair and I don’t feel like I’m being taking advantage of. The waiting area is really clean and surprisingly nice for an auto place. 😊
