The store manager Jason is amazing. I came in on Christmas Eve a few hours before closing and he made sure I was taken care of before the holiday. I’ve been to a number of shops and this location has excellent customer service and shows you that you are more than just a transaction (they care)

Great experience, I had trouble finding someone to do an inspection but they were so nice and welcoming and let me know it was no problem if I could leave my car. I dropped my car off late morning for an inspection and it was done early afternoon and they let me know right away. Quick and easy I would not hesitate to come here for other services in the future.

I have been a client of Meineke since 2012. My 2011 Mazda has 306000 and is still in great running condition… all because of their care and maintenance. From the basics to heavy mechanical issues they can do it all. Thank you!! It’s cheaper to keep her when she’s well maintained and when I purchase again..it will be Jasen, Jackie and Meineke.

I have been coming to Meineke for years with my uncle James David Tucker and always was extremely pleased. I took my Ford Escape to them for my transmission because I have always been so pleased. This time, however, I wasn't so pleased. I had asked them to inspect my car while doing the transmission and I'm not sure if that was done as no air was put into my tires or windshield washer fluid (which they always did in the past). Anyway, my car ran fine for about 2 wks but it seems to jolt really hard when changing gears. I finally contacted them today as now the engine light is on and it is acting like it does not want to change gears. I'm bothered because they kept my car for so long (3 wks) working on it and had no idea they would keep it that long and it cost me well over 4000. to have them fix my car. I wonder if the same people own this shop or did it change hands. I hate writing this because for years I recommended all I knew to go to this place and now here I am. I am going there today and praying they will fix my car and not take 3 wks to do so. Sincerely, Tina Martin

I’ve been taking my cars to Meineke for years and always had a good experience. The last 3 times I’ve gone, they have failed to call me when my car was ready. I’ve had to call and check at the end of the day when I hadn’t heard and they always say ‘Oh it’s been ready’ but nobody called.

These guys are either idiots or scammers or somehow, by the grace of God, both. I took my car in for a Park/Neutral Switch Input Circuit High code. They switched out the part. Charged me $470. Today, I called multiple shops to see how much it would cost for this service and was told on average $200-$300. I picked up my car last Thursday (10/10/24). The check engine light came back on Monday (10/14/24). I brought it back in on Wednesday (10/16/24). When I parked my car in their lot for service, the check engine light WAS on. I took a photo of it. I already knew what the code was, but did not disclose due to be being wary of shops and being taken advantage of in the past. I heard them say to each other (thinking I couldn't hear) "just reset the code". When asking for service that day, I also mentioned that my brakes were spongy and asked them to check them out. I left my car and went to work. Around 3p they called to let me know that "there was no code found. Check engine light is off now. But you need all new brake pads and rotors, and the brake fluid is bad; never been changed." My car is a 2005. I said thanks so much, I'll be in later to pick it up. Jason was surprised that I didn't want them to do the brakes and said "oh! okay." I picked up my car and asked my husband to look at my pads and rotors. He said they are fine. I then took my car (same day, yesterday 10/16/24) to Mincz. Mincz informed me today that pads on front were good 6-8mm and rear pads and rotors are brand new. They said calipers were sticking and a slide pin? was seized so they lubed it all, test drove it and said it is good to go. $130 for the hour it took. I still have no resolution for the code and because Meineke reset it, I won't know until it comes back on, whenever that may be. They 100% were attempting to take advantage of me with the brakes. If you know anything about cars, this is probably a fine place to take your car (or not). But if you are even slightly trusting, this place will take advantage of you. And no Meineke, I will not be reaching out to resolve this issue. If you would like to contact me to resolve, please feel free. You have mine and my husband's contact information.

I have been to this dealership once and had a pleasant experience but my recent visit is the reason I will be returning. Jason provided excellent customer service and he is very personable. I got an oil change done and the service was faster than last time… not to mention I got quoted for tires cheaper than Discount Tire so I will be returning sooner than later!

Meineke on Broad is THE BEST!! Can’t emphasize enough how many times they have saved me when the dealership or another auto place either can’t fit me in quickly enough or tries to price gouge me.. Meineke always saves the day. They were able to fit me in same-day and my car was done within an hour. The service is impeccable, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Will go back next time my car needs anything.

Came in due to an urgent issue with my brakes. Jason was very accommodating and got me in immediately. The mechanics were able to diagnose the issue, fix it in a reasonable amount of time, and squeeze in an oil change. I also noticed Jason going above and beyond to assist another customer. Overall I felt very taken care of and would recommend this location.

Excellent and friendly service! We were on a road trip and discovered that the brakes on our car had a problem and needed replacing. It was our first time in Richmond, VA. I called early Saturday morning, they said to come quick. I did. I got my brakes replaced in about an hours time and was able to be on my way. Our Richmond visit was excellent and this added to our experience. Thank you to the Meineke on Broad Street! Highly recommend!

First took my truck to another well-known named muffler shop to have my muffler replaced because it was closer to home and I was driving on expired tags and no sticker having just purchased the truck. The other shop wanted $976.00 to not only replace the muffler but they wanted to replace all new exhaust system from the catalytic converter back. I told them I only wanted them to replace the muffler they kept trying to push me replacing all the exhaust pipe. I then took it to meineke and they replaced the muffler and welded it to the exhaust pipe ensuring no leaks. While they mentioned that there was some rust inside of the exhaust pipes the outside of the exhaust system was solid with no rust visible. I saved over $650.00 letting meineke do the muffler replacement without them making me feel pressured into replacing a large portion of the exhaust system.

Has been our regular mechanic for 12* years. Last 2 visits, not so great. Sadly, my go to person at Meineke is no longer with us, but last visit, they acted like they had no idea who I was and like I had never been there. That’s fine, I get it- new person, but no record of my car or my husband’s car for 10+ years seems a little sketchy. I just let it go. My husband’s experience 2 weeks ago was just terrible. We dropped of his car late Thursday, and let them know we would be early Saturday for pick up. State Inspection & oil change. We arrive back Saturday, no state inspection performed. The excuse was the inspector is a senior citizen (????) not sure what that has to do with anything, and why the didn’t at least call and let us know they couldn’t do it. Have no idea whether the oil change was done or not, new sticker on windshield, but light on dashboard for oil change is still on? I also need my oil change, unfortunately I am taking it to someone else in the first time in almost 15 years. It makes me sad- but our last visit was a waste of time.

Meineke not only repairs vehicles but provides education on how to best maintain ones vehicle and maintenance.
