Meineke has been great! A complete report with pictures about what needs attention now, later, and maintenance suggestions is provided after every visit with no extra charge. It really helps me feel confident ink ow what's going on with my car. Having visited lots of smaller shops, I was never super confident that I was getting the right information or getting charged fairly. Meineke has definitely earned my business with their fair pricing and helpful vehicle inspections.

Excellent customer service!! I had someone from another company come and do the transmission fluid and 2 days later my “ check engine” light came on so I brought my car to you guys to check it and turns out there wasn’t any fluid even in the car!! I have no idea what the other company did for 2 hours and 15 minutes but it totally messed up my car and you guys fixed everything for me and were so good with answering my questions and were also so kind to me!! Thanks for doing an amazing job!!

I had an awesome experience at Meineke after I took my car there due to a mechanical issue. The staff were very straightforward with me and answered all my questions and explained what the problem with my car was in layman's terms. They also recommended what else needed to be done for my car and so far the car has been functioning perfectly well.The charges were also very reasonable as I have been ripped off before without the problem getting fixed and never got a refund.As a person with very minimal knowledge about cars I am always skeptical of getting scammed but the staff at Meineke made me feel completely at ease and I will definitely be taking my car back for more work.I 💯 recommend this place.

I loved the inspection process. They go over everything with pictures so you don’t feel like you are being taken advantage of in any way. I’ll be back for my cars next tune up!

The team at Meineke were excellent. They made an honest and accurate assessment of my car issue. Provided a fair estimate and then preceded to complete the work the same day. Then they explained the 1year warranty serviceable at any Meineke shop. Great jobs guys!

This place is the best. Was going through some crap and needed my car up and running. I didn’t have the full payment at the time and they worked with me only charging me 1/2 and letting me pay the other 1/2 when I got paid two weeks later. The kicker is they DID NOT charge me any storage fees.

Xmas holiday and my alternator dies kills my battery and stuck at Union station in downtown Portland. Managed to get a hold Of Meineke and they fit me in that day! 2 hours later good to go! We had a 5 hour drive to get home so I can't say enough about them.

I will Never spend money with this company. Seems as if I was getting the run around and that a particular employee was more concerned about the price of me spending instead of interest in helping me figure out what was wrong with my car. Two different times I called to make an appointment to get my car looked at & one guy told me that it would cost two hundred dollars just to get my car looked at to get a price. Also if I called and made an appointment and an employee told me it be free of charge then don't waste my time by me coming in and then someone told me something different. That's weird Yeah so I went elsewhere and spent my money because like I said I needed to get my car fix never had to pay any other time just for you to tell me what's wrong with my car. Where I went they looked at my car free of charge and I got it fixed their great customer service. You guys suck never again

Trying to call and simply say I need to cancel an appointment at 4. Get put on hold for 15 minutes so I hang up and call back to say it quick and he doesn’t give me a chance to speak. I call back and he hangs up. I call back and he screams HOLD. Why do I need to hold to simply tell you I won’t be coming in? I won’t be coming in and I tried to tell you, oh well. Gfy. Awful customer service. I get you’re busy but if you can scream and tell me to hold, you can listen to my 5 words so you aren’t expecting someone at 4. No need for a 15 minute hold to give you a heads up.

For the most part the experience was good. Greg was helpful. The price was good on the tires, however the labor cost are just becoming so out of control. Not the staffs fault. But probably won't return to another Meineke based on overall pricing!

I will never go back. They got permission to replace a part turned out I didn’t need - then replaced the part I actually needed without checking, Acs told me it was going to be an additional $500. Then when I was shocked and mad - told me that they could ‘go ahead and rip it out then’. Replacing the part I didn’t need messed up my car forever! They also punched a hole in my A/C compressor. Told them it wasn’t working after I took my car in and they told me try didn’t touch it, so it wouldn’t have been anything they did. Took it somewhere else after the part he replaced failed.

DISHONEST - BEWARE. They did some fluid changes for me, and prices were comparable to a dealer or Art of Maintenance down the street. They weren't busy, and the services were done in a half day. Then they attempted to sell me front brakes (brakes and rotors) for $900, telling me mine were worn down to the rotors. I declined, and took the car to Les Schwab on Lombard that afternoon. Their price was $450 (including rotors). They checked both sets of brakes, and all were at approximately 50%. They said I shouldn't need brakes for at least another 20k miles. I guess that explains why this shop isn't busy.

We have been coming here for oil changes for years-mostly because I don’t like to shop around and I can walk to the nearby park. A while ago they quoted me for brakes and it was significantly cheaper at Les Schwab with the same warranty. It made me think that their skyrocketing prices for oil changes might not be market driven. Well I still went there again. It seems like they get your vehicle done a lot faster if you stay in the shop. I stayed this last time. They were chatting loudly as a group in the shop and at one point one of their friends rolled up on a motorcycle and reved the engine extremely loudly. The customer service area is completely filthy. The walls, floor, toilet seat-everything has a layer of grease on it. I cringed at how gross the tote full of toys must be as it does not look like anyone ever wipes things down. In the end they failed to even write a new oil change reminder tag. And almost charged me for a full synthetic oil change even though I have never had that done (it was caught before they put oil in as they were quoting me for another service). I worry about whether I am getting the services that I am paying for and can’t trust that I can get other services done at Meineke without shopping around first.

Wonderful customer service! Probably the best customer service and also the quickest I have received at the mechanics in a long time! I had an issue draining my battery over the course of 2 years, and after 4 different mechanic shops and 3 battery replacements the mechanics at Meineke figured out that I had an aftermarket remote starter that was short circuiting and draining my battery. After fixing this my battery was damaged later on and they replaced it and did a full diagnostic work up to ensure that the parasitic drain was taken care of. Both managers, Jared and Greg were great. I would recommend their quick and friendly service to anyone!
