Horrible! I went for a pre-sale inspection I paid $100 for it. They told me the car was in pretty good condition and it needed a spark plugs and a new battery and everything else was in working order an hour later I bought the car paid $6100 and on my way home from the dealership, not once, but twice the car broke down and overheated so it’s a zero stars for me. I think I need my money back. Honestly I have no car now and I’m out 6100 thank you Meineke.

Awesome and friendly staff can't say the same for their prices though prices are ridiculous bring ur pocket book and they will try to lay on extras to nickle and dime you some more they charge for the diagnostic even if you get the work done there.Now, as the time never heard of a policy like that in my life be prepared, you've been warned

A Good group of guys who work hard and take good care of their customers , making sure they get the best service possible is what I like about Meineke ! I wouldn’t recommend going no where else but them , thank you ! Just came in there over the weekend 12/7/24 got my car serviced I left and noticed after that day of the weekend now it’s Monday I didn’t drive Sunday but Monday today I looked on the hood. My transmission dipstick was hanging out. It wasn’t pushed back. I had some kind of hose cord or wire that was connected to something And it was not connected back to the piece that was missing on and my battery Had some kind of stuff sprayed on there all I ask is whoever is the technician working on my car to explain their work and show me their work so I know what kind of work they have performed on my car. I’m removing three stars.⭐️ because that is a lack of detail on your end as me being a customer and I have paid and spent 5K for all the work total that Meineke has performed on my car recently ! Going forward I just want the technician that worked on my car to explain and detail what work they performed on my car instead of telling me what was kind of done and handing me my keys and me driving off please double check your work triple check your work to make sure everything is put back in place before giving it to me. The customer. Thank you peace ✌🏾😒

Great experience at this Meineke. Was able to get an estimate via phone and got same day service at a great price, especially compared to my dealership. The crew was very professional and well informed. Took time to explain services needed and recommendations for future service. Location was convenient. If you want to wait in the area, close to many restaurants and bus lines if you prefer to head home. Will be making this my go to shop for all maintenance needs.

When I brought the first car I bought this year in January I ended up taking it here for some repairs. That first experience left a bad taste in my mouth, but for the second car i bought the experience was a lot better. I actually think the reason I had a bad experience to begin with was because of how i bought the first car, ever since that initial repair that caught me completely off guard ive found that meineke actually has some of the most affordable prices in my area of portland. The people there are also always very kind and they get the work done in a timely manner. One of the employees even made it a point to ask my pronouns which I really appreciated. Id definitely suggest them for car work!

I bring my car to meineke for all services and any repairs it needs. They always treat myself and my car very well. it's nice to walk in and be greeted by name. i love this shop. always a pleasure to have my car serviced there, and the wait is normally not a big deal. (depends on what kind of work needs doing). thank you meineke at eastport location

Tom and his staff member took me in for a last minute same day booking to fix my brakes! They were upfront with what to do and told me the truth and to disregard any unnecessary care when I asked about another shop’s recommended repairs. Honest and respectful customer service

Tom is the best! He transferred all my repair history from the Vancouver store and got me new tires, breaks, rotation, battery, and rotors for $1,200. And apparently, if you get your brakes done here, they're warrantied for life?? Best dang mechanic team in Portland. Just pick up your car before it closes because the area can be sketchy.

Usually go in for oil changes and little stuff and they always treat me right, I’d recommend this place for anyone who doesn’t have warranty on their new vehicle like me 😂 on a side note they’re trustworthy and legit, they will not charge your stupid fees or anything and they’ll only recommend whatever maintenance that needs to be done based off your car history but will not pressure you into doing it. Great people that work here and the manager I believe is super chill and respectful.

Firstly, five stars for Sierra! She was fantastic! Both times I've come in recently, I felt so comfortable with her demeanor, professionality, and knowledge. It's nice to see a female face in a field predominantly male. Unfortunately, it took me coming in five times for the oil leak I've had to be discovered and fixed, so one star off because of that. But, it's finally fixed and now I don't have to have an unsightly oil stain on my street. I've been going here for a very long time and I've had great experiences always.

let’s be begin to tell the terror of this place. i chose them out of every place in town because they promised to swap my tires and do an alignment on my car in one day. the front clerk was polite and worked with me to find the tires adjacent to what i was looking at and booked me promptly for service the next day. i bring my car in on a friday morning (20mins early 10:40am) to my appointment. they say it will be done in two hours. i bus to work and bus back arriving at 1pm. they tell me my car has not even been touched or started on. i have another job at 3 that requires me car. i talk with the lead mechanic and we agree to try and get the tires on and come back for the alignment the next day so i can get to work. i return an hr later and the car is still not done and i am going to be late for work. the rush to finish the tires i drive to my job and am late and cant work (gig life loss of 90$ job) i return to the shop so they can at least do my alignment as promised. having missed my job my sister asks if they can replace my wipers for free. they do. drive off. wake up saturday to my tire being flat and in salem. drive to the shop on a spare tire. they accuse me of hitting a curb and causing the tire to fall off bead making the tire flat. i roll my eyes and say whatever just fix it. they find the problem being the tire stem and still accuse me of hitting a curb. they said they could fix the tire by 4pm ( it’s noon). i have plans to be in astoria with my sister and friend for the night. we agree for them to leave my car with the keys locked in it in the lot for me to pick up sunday morning. sunday morning comes and i go to retrieve my car. it’s not there. i assume they forgot and just locked in the store and ill have to wait til 8am to pick it up. i have a job at 3am sunday in which my partner drives me to and from making him late for work. we arrived 8:02 monday and ask where my car is. the head mechanic i have been dealing with this whole time says they don’t have it. i remind him we agreed to work on car and leave it in the lot. he says he wouldn’t have recommended that and to let him know how they can help. i walk out of the shop to start the or process of reporting my car stolen from their lot. my partner goes into the bays and looks for my car. not there. he starts arguing with the workers and i send him off to work while i deal with the cop and them. i want to point out. nowhere in any of this frustration have i yelled or made a fit or anything. i have called the cops and made the report, posted on social media of my car being stolen, cancelled my jobs for the day and on the phone with my dad telling him the whole story. (40 mins after arriving at the shop) the head attendant says he found my car. where did he find it when it wasn’t in the bays 40 mins ago!!??? the pull the car up and the tire is still flat. they pull it back in and fix the tire. no one is talking to me about anything and i am trying to unclaim my car stolen. where was my car? why did no one one talk to me. why was i not called initially to tell me the car was behind schedule!!? so loss of work 180$, filing a fake police report, and stressed all weekend over a new tire swap and alignment that cost me 670 dollars. WTF!! never go here i wish i had the time of day to boycot their store for the day

Called on a Saturday afternoon and asked if they had time to look at and fix my car. I told Tom I was coming from deep SE and he said they could get me in as soon as I got there. Took me 20 minutes. Upon arrival they suddenly didn’t have time. Told me to come back Monday. No thanks. Just be honest. You wasted my gas and my precious time. Boo. After reading other reviews, I’m grateful they didn’t have time.

They made a mistake when installing the oil filter and oil leaked all over their shop floor and all over the engine. They did a sloppy job cleaning the engine and still oil everywhere. The next day I found out there are oil on my driveway. I had to go buy oil/engine cleaner to clean the engine and my driveways. They cost me a lot of time and money cleaning up their mistake. A simple oil change took 2.5 hours

first an overfill; smells & looked like drain oil. they corrected that by "draining all the oil" and adding new. the "new" oil looks (still have it for proof) and smells like drain oil. I changed it myself & filter was extremely over tightend
