I don't usually post reviews but I must say the service I received from Tyler Williams was excellent. He answered all of my questions and kept me informed on the progress of my car being serviced. The technician who serviced my car was also very friendly. I'll definitely use this Meineke again.

The manager demonstrated a commitment to convenience by offering me a ride home, allowing me to leave my vehicle overnight for necessary repairs. This level of attentiveness was particularly beneficial given my proximity to the location. Based on this positive experience, I have decided to entrust the maintenance of both my vehicles to Meineke in the future!

Went to the meineke car shop December 11 2024 to get my brakes and rotors done for my Range Rover. Front desk guy appeared to be in a bad mood from start. Of course like any other shop they list out all these other problems to try to get more money. They give me an estimate of $2000 to fix a windshield wiper, a mark on my car, caliper, and brakes & rotors. I told them i only want brakes and rotors done and nothing else. You can tell the black guy at the front desk had an attitude and didn’t like that i wasn’t trying to spend more money. I think they just wanted to make the most money off of me since they saw i had a rover. They refused to service me if i didn’t get the caliper done. I take it to my dealership mechanic and they confirmed that I DID NOT need my calipers done and just needed brakes and rotors and only spent $400 to get it all done. I always come to meineke for some stuff and they’re usually cool people but ever since they changed their staff, it’s been very low vibrational in there and just money hungry. Beware of scam if you have a high end car. They will say something is wrong when there isn’t just to get more money and refuse to service if they want you to spend more money than you actually want to. BAD BUSINESS

I took my vehicle into Meineke at 3702 W. 86th street in Indianapolis for a recommended replacement of spark plugs and an ignition coil on 10/30 and now it’s 11/12 and my vehicle is still there. $1860.00 later and my car won’t start, they’re trying to tell me I need a new engine, and I can’t get a response back from corporate Meineke. I feel like I’m being scammed. I would give them zero stars but that’s not an option on here. 11/19/24: I got a response on my google review and was asked to call a local number but it was only the local shop and I spoke to the same person that I’ve been dealing with this whole time (and not helpful). He supposedly took a message for a district manager that was to return my call but never did. I still have not heard from the corporate office despite having called twice. My car is still sitting in the parking lot.

The Service that was preformed on my car was top notch! All around break job and swey bar repair has made it fun to drive my car again. Highly recommend Meineke for these or other needs to be done the right way! My car may be old but drives and handles like a whole NEW CAR Now. Money well spent for the long haul. 👍😁

Thieves. I sent an email to the store and shop about a stolen document. I received a call back from the store but missed it. When I called back the same mechanic who had transferred me to a supervisor when I made my appt pretended to be a supervisor when I inquired about the document stolen from my glove compartment.

This auto shop charged me 150 just to look at the car and not do any work. they quoted me 2500 for work, then i tok at another pace they looked for free and quoted less so i am not sure they are honest, truthful. most auto shops will not charge 150 to look at the car for 3 mins.

Went in about a month ago (2019) to get a full 3” exhaust including x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers ran. Everyone there was really nice, would recommend them to anyone needing work done. Did a great job on my exhaust! Also almost forgot to mention the price was very fair as well, was actually about $40 less than what was quoted. Thanks! Update: Went back in to get a simple 12” section of straight pipe installed. They refused to work on the car because the exhaust was altered (By them by the way) and not up to the factory specs. I explained that I only needed a small 12” inch section on the rear fixed which was no where near or had anything to do with the altered part of the exhaust, so why they would even focus on that part is just plain stupid. I guess when your business is threatened by the Covid-19 pandemic common sense just kicks right in! Needless to say I would never recommend or return to this place! One very important mention! The guys that were originally there when Meineke did my full custom exhaust were all friendly and helpful! These guys were no longer there when I returned, and because of my first visit you get two stars instead of one! Felt the need to updated again, because I always want to be completely fair! Most exhaust shops WILL NOT do the work I wanted them to do! One would have to find a shop that works on custom and performance vehicles! That being said, they are not the first to turn down the work, but they are the first to do an entire job then say that it’s something that they don’t do. One thing I’ve never understood is, if you’re not touching or altering a part that has already been altered by someone else, then why are we even discussing that particular part! Don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone getting fined for NOT doing anything! Not to mention that it’s a non street driven vehicle. That’s like someone not wanting to do an oil change because you took the evap system off the engine! Makes no sense. And for that reason I will add one more star.

I appreciate how the staff at Meineke quickly checked my car when an engine light came on. I had a bad alternator, and I couldn't drive the car home. One of the staff members drove me home. Thank you Meineke!

I went in there because I put too much oil in my car and I was honest and told the guy so what they did is they took out a little of my own oil and charge me $66 so when I realize the car was doing the same thing that I came in for I went back and that’s when he told me that. Oh I have an internal issue now, so I said so why would you even? Drained the oil if you know there’s an internal problem and why did you not tell me before I left to go get my car checked at the dealership you just now tell me that when I bring it back.

My experience with this shop was a work order for spark plugs and a cylinder head-gasket replacement (2013 Subaru Outback). The initial price VERY high for the work being done, an additional $65 being added to my bill, as well as taking multiple days longer than expected, and I had to reach out to find those things. Communication was disappointing, the price was excessive, and they didn't even put coolant in my vehicle when done with the work! The only reason I went here was because I knew they would work on my car and my car is my lifeline. I will never make that mistake again. The work seemed successful, but very very unperforming in communication and detail management.
