This shop is great! Honest about what needs done. On one occasion they couldn't fix the issue after several days of labor and referred me to a specialist. They said because they didn't fix it they were not going to charge me!

These guys tried charging me $700 for a repair on my radiator. A brand new radiator for my car only cost $100, so I just got that and installed it myself. These guys were just going to pour some cheap sealant and charge me $700 for it. The guy at the front also kept trying to pressure me into pay for it in payments through sign some random app and give them my credit card information and social security. They think I'm stupid.

It's never fun when your car has expensive repairs but knowing that Marcos and team did what they could to properly address the repairs and keep costs low was amazing. The turnaround time for the this and previous jobs is also extremely commendable. I highly recommend McDaniel Auto Care. 1. They are good at telling you one price up front...but when they have your car..they call you with a higher price.....2. At times they will fix one item and mess up another.....I will say that when they had their other location and the owner was more involved..it was much better service

Brought in a used diesel truck for pre-purchase inspection and avoided buying a lemon. Beyond the obvious problems, the manager pointed out multiple areas of concern evaluating the car. For one example, while the transmission fluid looked good, it had a burned smell which he said was concerning that it may need Major work sooner rather than later but there was no way to know for sure. However, he didn't just tell me that. He pulled the dipstick out of a customer's truck of the same model with the same engine which was 2 years newer to see for myself. This and a couple other similar tips pretty much let me know the story I had been told about the history of this vehicle had been completely fabricated. In any case, I found the manager and his mechanic quite friendly and going a little above and beyond in giving me advice about the vehicle was much appreciated. I'd highly recommend them for pre-purchase inspections and I certainly will be back if I'm looking at anything else in Houston

Man this was some of the best and quickest actual mechanical work I’ve had done. Although I came a a good time when it was slow,they still immediately started working on my car and found the problem with my clutch(throw out bearing) and replaced it and my clutch h feels nice and smooth. Refused to replace only the bulb in a cracked tail light because the lens was cracked. Would only replace the entire assembly.
