Nick and Brandon at Maxi Riverside were so wonderful. They explained all recommendations and the work was done quickly. The whole process from scheduling to picking up after repairs was seamless. They even arranged an uber for me when I dropped off for repairs. Highly recommend!

Recently, I dropped off my keys before opening hours and noticed they were holding a team meeting. I came here after getting an almost $3,000 quote from Tire King who said I needed this that and the next thing for my car to be in good shape. When I brought it to Maxi, they were honest and gave me a report with photos and quoted me a reasonable amount to fix up my car before I took it on a long road trip. I would highly recommend them!!

The guy at the front desk was nice and professional his name was Nick I believe, and the mechanic was nice as well who was inspecting my vehicle on what the issue is, but this repair shop is really getting over on people or just me., and it could be because it’s the holidays.. no way my regular car, and the issue that it had should be $1,600.. and they still get you with that diagnosis fee which is almost $200 so regardless their still getting something out of you if you do no get the issued repaired by them.

We had Keith do the work on our Jeep. He went over it like a fine tooth comb found a few things wrong. We got them repaired and life is good. I truly do recommend this place. All the other places in Clay County are nothing but rip balls you want it done and done right at a very fair price go see Maxi and tell him Ken sent you

A-1 Customer Service!! Brad, Nick and the rest of the crew are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Shot out the the mechanic crew as well. Did I mention if you're in a certain mile radius they'll provide an Uber so you don't have to wait while your vehicle is being serviced!! Superb auto service!!

Friendly, professional and great customer service. I found them by accident due to my car breaking down in their parking lot. They provided me with an uber, and had my car up and running in less than 24 hours. It is 100% worth it to use them for a significant repair.

I encourage anyone to try Maxi Auto for their car service needs. I had used Maxi 3 times prior (1st time at Hodges location -- very good experience!, + 2 times at Riverside). This 4th time at Maxi Riverside was exceptional. Brandon took my initial phone call and then documented my information when I arrived in person. He took my concerns seriously and seemed genuinely caring to solve the puzzling issue I was having. He thoroughly looked into the issue, and gave me follow-up phone calls with updates and next steps. He was sincerely polite, transparent, and approachable at every instance. Sean, the technician, managed to savvily find the problem causing the issue, and his solution saved me from a future costly repair. When I received his technical notes on the issue and the solution, it made so much sense and I knew it was an honest, accurate assessment. Brad, the manager, greeted me when I returned to pick up the car. He was friendly and helpful in explaining answers to some questions I had, so that I can be proactive in preventing a recurring issue. Nobody there ever used any intimidation tactics or presented me with a massive list of other repairs I should consider. They focused on my main concern and took care of it with excellence. I am so appreciative for their work and conduct!! Thank you!!

Maxi Auto Repair Shop is the most reliable and convenient auto shop I’ve been to in Jacksonville. They are consistently excellent in their work, and every service is worth every penny they charge. Unlike other shops, they’ve never tried to upsell unnecessary repairs or services. They truly live by the motto on their wall: “We Diagnose, You Decide.” They thoroughly assess any issues and empower you to make the final decision about your vehicle. This morning, I brought my car in after another shop had messed up my air filter. Maxi Auto not only fixed the other shop’s mistake but also didn’t charge me a single dollar for it. That’s true customer service! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They are reliable, dependable, and consistent—Maxi Auto Repair and Service is the only place I’ll trust with my car in Jacksonville!

Maxi's always does an amazing job. They also will give you a run down when you get an oil change and give the option if you want to fix anything else. They're very professional, thorough, and very easy guys to work with. Brad is very helpful and knowledgeable and Nick was prompt and helped me with any questions I have.

My car engine light came on and started sputtering. Luckily Maxi was close to my work and was able to take me in quickly. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had my car fixed fixed and back to me within 24 hours. Not only that but they provided me a ride back to work after dropping my vehicle off. Brad and the rest of the staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this shop if you need Car repairs.

Never fixed my issue that I came for. Went back to tell them then they tried to say it was another problem causing that noise not what “they fixed” but they never fixed the whole reason I was there which was to figure out what the noise was coming from very disappointed and not going back again.

The guys at the Maxi Riverside shop were professional and knowledgeable, and were able to resolve an electrical issue with the airbag system in my car that other shops hadn't fixed. The cost was a bit more than expected but took care of the problem so the airbag system is working properly now. They were great about communicating by phone and text to give updates on the status of the repair and when the car was ready for pickup, and sent a report with photos of the mechanic working on the car. Also arranged an Uber ride to get home and back to the shop, which was very helpful. Overall a positive experience, the shop seems well run and they appear to want to do a good job for their customers.

They did pretty good work. They repaired my car once before last year when my air went out...and now for some strange reason it's blowing hot air again...after replacing the a.c unit less than 2 years ago, it shouldn't be doing that 😑

We brought our older model vehicle into the shop hoping to diagnose some related issues with the recent cooler weather. After not initially finding anything, they were kind enough to keep the car overnight through the holiday in an effort to make sure nothing was wrong. Lo and behold, nothing was deemed necessary to fix! Just run of the mill old car sounds. Not only were these folks friendly and personable, they are honest above all else, being so gracious enough to not charge anything for no work was completed. But I know these guys test drove, checked under the hood, and everything else to ensure my car was safe to drive. Rest assured, when my car DOES need something done, I’ll be taking her to Maxi Auto Repair in Riverside! Special shout-out to Brad and Keith for being top notch gentleman.

Great service and team. Sean diagnosed the issue in my truck within 30 seconds of hearing the noise and was able to fix within 24 hours! Brandon the gentlemen at the front desk did a good job guiding me through the process and answered all my questions. The manager Brad worked with me to help provide great service.

I went to Maxi Auto repair for the first time. My experience was very positive. I felt this place was very genuine and I am planning to go there again for oil change and other things that I may need. They fix up a cover underneath my car that was hanging. I didn't even ask for it because I forgot about it. Previous place wasn't able to fix that even after asking. That is one example have for their attention to details.

In addition to diagnosing the main problem… Maxi Auto Repair provided a very thorough inspection and recommendations for other items/repairs that will be required in the future. The print out included parts and labor cost itemized separately so that they can be budgeted and done individually. It was a pleasure to visit the shop and meet Brad, Brandon, and Sean… greeting, conversation, and answered my questions in detail. Made my decision very easy to allow them to take care of my vehicle. I will be going back to keep my vehicles serviced and repaired. Bruce

My husband and I took my 2018 Chevy Camaro to get looked at. The service was excellent from moment one. They first test drove the car with my husband in it so they could get a clear picture of what we were experiencing. They said they don’t like charging people unnecessarily! That won me over because we have all had bad auto mechanic experiences! They did a full and thorough inspection and found the issue. They couldn’t fix our issue because it was something we needed from the dealership. It still was the best service we have ever had at a mechanic shop!! I HIGHLY recommend them!!!
