Came in with a flat tire off the highway. Short wait, folks found out my tpms system wasn’t screwed in right (photo for reference) from my last tire change, fixed it up quickly. Now my tire can actually hold its air. Can’t be more appreciative for the help! Definitely recommend, they know their tires!

Just spoke with a Felicia and I can't speak highly enough about the service I was provided over the phone. I was calling around for tire prices and she kept finding additional deals to apply to my purchase to beat the competition. Not only did the price sell me but also the service. Unfortunately they sold the tires online as I was talking with her so I had to go to the next location 4 miles away and they won't get the sale at this location so I at least wanted to leave a 5 star review to give her the proper recognition.

Rob, the Manager of Mavis in New Tampa, Florida is a true gift to the customer! His affable demeanor and empathic attitude makes one feel that one is relating with a friend, and upon that friend entrusting the resolution of one’s automobile’s problem. More than once I’ve perceived that Rob has had my best interests at heart, as he always first listens attentively to whatever is my concern and will oftentimes begin the process by going out to my car himself in order to inspect and better understand the issue before even assigning the pursuit of its resolution to one of his also capable and amenable mechanics. A nice and adroit team led by a kind, understanding and adept leader like Rob is a strong motivation to continue to take my car to this particular Mavis location! Jerry, appreciative customer. – – – – – – – – – – –  – – – – – – (Following, my review from last year of several other members of this Mavis team, which I don't see here posted anymore)... Rob, the Manager at this Dona Michelle location, has been very nice. He’s been consistently instrumental in ensuring that all the work on my car be done to the highest standards. As well, I’ve always found him to be quite thoughtful and attentive: consequently, I feel appreciative! Kishaun (pronounced “Shawn”) has for years helped me to appreciable levels, and he too has been affable and diligent, as would a trusted friend! Dante, the Assistant Manager was impressively nice and thoughtful. He considered every one of my concerns and attentively saw them through. Dante is a capable professional! Devin, the mechanic rotating my tires, was also very kind and thoughtful. He's a guy with a welcoming and affable demeanor. Michael, as well, was particularly nice and receptive while addressing and resolving both of my concerns. The ambiance of this particular store also adds to the pleasant experience. Arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. Waited almost 20 minutes to even be greeted or acknowledged by anyone, not even a hello ma’am we’ll be with you in a moment. There were originally 2 gentleman at the counter but only one assisting customers then the other left. There was only one gentleman in-front of me yet I still couldn’t be greeted? Once my vehicle was finally brought back it took about an hour which is normal. Then it came time to pay and that is partially my mistake for not asking for pricing before booking. They charged me $117 for an oil change. Most expensive oil change I’ve ever had and that’s even compared to the dealerships I’ve gone to. I commented to the gentleman, “wow that’s the most expensive oil change I’ve ever had.” And his response was, “yeah probably.” 🤷🏼‍♀️ I give them 2 stars because although timely, customer service is lacking and they are not forthcoming about their pricing. Lesson learned on my part, hope this helps others.

Called them and asked about the $188 brake special. Young representative said it would be a bit extra for a Cadillac since the car wasn't a "normal" car like Toyota,etc.Really? GM parts? He said it would be around $229 with tax for the pads and the tax would make it around $270. With 7% tax? Sounded a bit steep. When I got there, the older gentleman quoted me about $211 tax included. Nothing extra for it being a Cadillac. Fortunately, I didn't tell him about the other quote I received. So employees are giving different quotes. Do they pocket this extra cash? Seemed really shady.

Everyone there is super chill and are car guys too….lol. Everyone was very friendly, good service. Edit: Didn’t realize at first but there is a sizable chip on the edge of my wheels. Just got aftermarket ones too so this kinda sucks. HOWEVER, this could have been a freak accident or something, as everyone there seems very competent and friendly.

I had a minor issue with the bottom protector sheet of my car and visited Mavis Tyres for assistance. Rob was incredibly kind and took the time to walk me through the issue. The team provided quick service, removed the damaged sheet, and explained why it couldn't be reinstalled. To my surprise, they didn’t charge me since it was a quick fix. Great customer service and professionalism! Highly recommend them!

My experience here was excellent. They were recommended by a friend. When I first got there for my appointment, the day was not going well. They had 2 people call off. The gentleman I had talked to on the phone was from corporate, not the store, and had told me I could come in early. The first man I talked to was apologetic, but said I could wait, but it would be the end of the day before they were able to get to me. I got there around 11. But my brakes needed to be done so I sat there. Little did I know that Sean was in the background working his magic. I called my husband, who was sick, and he agreed to come and get me. By the time my husband got there (around an hour or hour and a half later), my brakes were done. Sean had been in the process of getting someone in to cover the workload and had not said anything because he was unsure how long it would take. He under promised and over delivered! He even gave me a discount for the frustration and for my husband coming all the way out. Sean is a rock star and an asset to the company. Thank you so much. I would always rather someone under promise and over deliver than to be disappointed. I was not disappointed with my friend's referral, Mavis Tires, or Sean!! Way to turn a situation around. Thanks Sean!

Updated review. 5 stars when they were Kauffman Tire. Used them 8 or so years ago, and there were no issues. After changing to Mavis, their quality checks have gone down. 1. In 2022, I purchased a new set of truck tires, drove home, and discovered they were the wrong load rating. New tires installed, drove home, discovered one tire could no longer hold air, and was flat. Had to buy a compressor and bottle jack and had to replace a faulty valve stem(pretty easy to do). 2. In early 2021, i brought in my wife's car for lifetime tire rotation and decided on an oil change. Came home, oil leak on my driveway. Brought it back and discovered it was a crush washer issue. Unfortunately, I won't be returning and recommended my family and friends to look elsewhere.
