I am from MD and was down here to handle things for my father after my mother had passed away. I was driving her van when I picked up a nail in my tire on a Sunday. I called and spoke to Keith, who told me to bring it in. When I got there they took me right back and patched it quickly. When Keith told me it was ready he also told me that since I was so far away from home, this fix was on him. He reminded me if I had any issues, I could come back any time. I almost cried - it definitely was an act of great kindness when I needed one. Customer care is definitely top shelf here.

I took my car here in a whim due to a nail in my tire. The shop got me in, got it fixed quick and for a good price! They were accommodating, very nice, and I would give them 10 stars instead of 5 if I could! Thank you so much Mavis!

Amazing experience!! I had a tire emergency the weekend before Christmas, and I was from out of state. Not only did this Summerville-based Mavis get me in promptly, but they also treated me with the highest quality customer service. They took care of my tire emergency right away. I’m super grateful to Keith and the rest of the staff there!

Came in with a tire leak. New to the state, so not sure what shops to trust. Keith checked me in and kept me company talking about the area and giving me some great restaurants to try. All said and done, tire repaired quickly with amazing customer service!! Will be back for all my car needs!

I blew a tire, after hitting a curb with front passenger wheel on the main road right next to this shop. They fitted me with a new tire within an hour at a great price, even tried to buff out scratches too. Very lovely gentlemen working there.

I had my car serviced at the Angus location on 12/08/2024. I had two back tires put on and an oil change. On Thursday, 12/12/2024, I noticed a huge oil leak. Unfortunately, I couldn’t return the car to Mavis until 12/15/2024 because I work Monday-Saturday. When I got there they declined service and said someone else had touched the car after them, which was false because we took the car there to avoid having to do it. Finally, they agreed to find the oil leak and put a new filter and top the oil off, we waited around and never got a call back to confirm the car was ready. We called them because we knew from the previous Sunday that they won’t call, when we called they said they didn’t touch the car because they were waiting to speak to him, which they had already spoken to him when we dropped it off. Once we returned we waited 15 minutes before they pulled us to the side and apologized and agreed that it was their fault. They admitted that they had cross-threaded the oil filter and that they would fix it but it would have to sit there until late Monday, which was also unfortunate because again I work Monday-Friday, plus I had my one year old daughter sitting outside waiting on a ride home. Monday morning they called saying “it wasn’t their fault” and they couldn’t fix it. So now i’m waiting on corporate to call back and resolve this issue. Long story short, don’t go to Mavis. They are rude and unprofessional, it smelled like marijuana in the office and they were joking and laughing about a previous customer that had just left out.

Well, I bought tires for two different vehicles and I will never let them do an alignment on another vehicle. It took two alignments on the first vehicle to get it right. The second vehicle was three alignments, and it was still not correct. I had no choice but to take the vehicle to the dealer to have the issue corrected at my own expense. The problem is with untrained staff on modern vehicles along with out of date equipment. It seems as though no matter how many times Tire Kingdom has been renamed or purchased by another company and their name slapped on the buildings, the crappy service still continues.

Arrived at 8 am told it would be an hour and a half it’s been two hours and my car has not been touched. Was told it would be another 2-3 hours. I paid $25 for an appointment! Last time with this service center.

I used this Mavis (thinking it was NTB) because it's closer to my home. I had an appointment scheduled in early July '24 for 4 tires. That appointment took 2.5 hours. Yesterday (10/16/24) I ran over a huge bolt which blew out my tire. I said to myself, "No problem! I can just swap it out with the spare." Except I COULDN'T swap it out with the spare because the lug nuts were OVER TIGHTENED. My mechanic friend had trouble removing them with his breaker bar AND his impact wrench! I have changed many tires in my life and have NEVER needed help. 2 strikes are enough for me. 4 stars for the front desk crew.

I had my vehicle serviced here April 24, 2024. Had a basic rotate and balance on my vehicles tires. One of the center caps was not put back on. I returned and addressed this the following day. They checked the shop and couldn’t find it. They then agreed to purchase a replacement and have it sent to me. Today is now October 24, 2024 and the replacement center cap has yet to show up. It makes me feel like they said they would replace it to get me to leave and stop bothering them prior to moving across the country. The service was good until this issue.
