I needed a tire plugged quickly and went to university Mavis and immediately got Ivan and he had his associates to immediately address my flat tire.

Will never go back. I needed a tire plugged. They said it had two nails in one tire so they couldn’t do it. Instead they came about with $2460 of other stuff that they wanted to do to it. We own a shop back home and that stuff did NOT need to be at this time. Pretty much anything around my tire area they said needed to be replaced. They told me my breaks were 80% worn when I just changed my breaks literally the month before. Not to mention they looked at my car for all of maybe 5 minutes. I know this because I could see them through the window. All they did was lift my car into the air, walked around it, didn’t even take the tire off and wrote up what they wanted to do. I am a young female that they thought they could take advantage of. Terrible service. If i could do less than one star i would.

Had an emergency flat tire while traveling from out of town and stopped by on chance. The entire team took care of the flat tire, my other tires, AND put on a spare for me. The team was kind, helpful, and quick, especially given our surprise visit. Cannot thank them enough! Highly recommend!

I stopped in to ask how much air to put in my tire and Ivan took the time, went outside and showed us where the recommended tire pressure was located in my car.He showed us how to use the air machine and checked all 4 tire making sure we knew how to use the machine.

I took my sister to Mavis on university city blvd for new tires. When we got here they show us the tires we saw online the prices was different than in store. They honored the online price and help her choose better tires to last longer on her suv. Octavia, Javon, Ivan, was very knowledgeable on tires, tread, and insurance. I really appreciate them for helping her.

I called and scheduled an appointment two weeks prior, and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived, and there were not five cars with the same appointment. The price that I was quoted when I set the appointment was the price that I paid after I was serviced. I had to work while I was waiting, and Jovan ordered me a Lyft, free of charge, and sent me home. Because I been totally unprepared to be sent to the comfort of my home to wait for my car to be repaired, I did not think to get my housekeys off of my car key. I thought surely they're gonna charge me for this Lyft now because I have to come back for my key! Instead, Ivan brought my keys to me himself. When my service was complete, and before he sent a Lyft to come pick me up, Jovan went over what had been done to my vehicle and restated the (unchanged) price. When I showed up to pay, Jovan also provided a short education on how the parts that were used work together to give me the result I was looking for. Then, (yes, it continues) They called me back later to let me know that my wheel lock was there and that they would have it until I returned. Any other place would have forgotten who it belonged to, and that would have been an added expense for my VW. Did I mention that throughout this experience, they were professionals and gentlemen? As women, we get taken advantage of so often. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer for all my car health needs. Thank you so much, Javon and Ivan! You are the best!

I received tires on 12/17/2024 and needed an alignment. The guys were so helpful that I came back the very next day to get the alignment. The young lady at the counter was very helpful and made sure that I was aware of the time and the price before receiving any service. Mavis will always be my go to for tires and brakes.

The staff at this location were very helpful and willing when several others claimed they could not replace a wheel stud. They were also charging 300 to 400 dollars when I was charged $50 for the stud, lug and labor. They went over and beyond and I would highly suggest you stop to see them before going anywhere else.
