On Oct 6, 2024, my vehicle (21 Kia Soul) hit a deer and the next day I contacted Masters Auto Body and notified them that I had filed a claim with my insurance. I requested Masters Auto body to do the estimate and the repairs after my insurance approved repairs. It took about a week for the repairs to start on my vehicle. On Nov. 6, 2024, Masters Auto Body advised my vehicle was finished and ready for pick-up. I didn’t get to inspect the vehicle when I picked it up before taking the vehicle away from Master Auto Body because the vehicle was blocked in. I drove the vehicle to my employment; and began looking over the vehicle. My vehicle was hit by the deer on the right front passenger’s side. I inspected the vehicle and observed a misalignment in front fender on drivers’ side was twice as much as what was on passengers’ side. I notified my insurance the next day and advised my insurance company I was not happy with the repairs; the insurance company advised I had to let Master Auto Body fix any problems, since I choose a select shop for my insurance company. I returned to Masters Auto Body with my vehicle and advised them of the problems with the gaps in fender and doors and hood and doors and the hood and front bumper. My vehicle was worked on the second time by the owner Jeff that replaced the aftermarket hood with OEM. I was notified on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, that my vehicle was finished and available for pick-up again. I picked up the vehicle on Monday, Nov. 25, 2025, and parked the vehicle inside my employment until Tuesday Nov. 26, 2024, when I pulled the vehicle out and hosed it off and after hosing it off, water appeared in the brand-new passenger’s side (aftermarket) headlight. I returned to Masters Auto Body and showed them the aftermarket headlight with water. I was contacted Wednesday December 4, 2024, that my headlight was in and if I could drop the vehicle for OEM replacement. I returned it Thursday morning and received my vehicle back with the headlight replaced. My vehicle was returned with misalignment still in hood to fenders and still has the gap from the hood and front end. The owner even talked to me on Friday December 5, 2024; I advised him that I was not happy with the gaps and misalignment in aftermarket and OEM parts, but his statement to me was it is difficult to get the aftermarket parts to line up. So ; in my opinion the rest of the AFTERMARKET parts need to be replaced. I can't believe Masters Auto Body would let my 3-year-old vehicle leave their shop the first or second time with the gaps and misaligned parts. The passengers side fender doesn't line up with the hood as seen in pictures. The gaps on drivers' side or passengers' side don't match. I will not be returning any of my vehicles to Masters Auto Body as long as Macco is in business.

From Lori at the front desk, to Chris managing the estimate and insurance claim, to the owner Jeff, making sure everything was perfect - this team is AMAZING! I will never go anywhere else for auto body needs. I 💯 recommend Masters for all your cars bodywork. I love Jeff at Masters. My 2023 Camry was hit from behind going down 20 and then I hit a deer this past Sunday and I called Jeff up immediately and told him about my car. Jeff went above and beyond and got my car and has her at his shop already torn down. Jeff makes the process very easy when it comes to insurance, claims, and rental needs. Jeff will always be the man to go too.

Not only the service and people are extremely professional, everybody is very helpful and respectful and the place is very clean and happy! Jeff and his team went above and beyond to help us and work with our insurance company. A stinky situation (my fender bender) couldn't have ended any better. I highly recommend Masters Auto Body Shop.

I took my 2018 F150 to Masters Auto Body to have some gunk that had gotten on the chrome and paint removed. Now this was not a easy job because I had worked on it for two days straight and had made very little progress. Jeff looked it over and quoted me a price of $60 dollars and I took it back the next day for him to do the work. I gave them a call later that evening and was told that they needed more time and kept it another day which was fine with me. I went to pick it up expecting to pay more than the estimate because of the extra work but was told that I only owed the estimated amount even with the extra time and work. Now that is something you don't see every day, a business that stands behind their word and work and the truck looks like it came off the showroom floor at the dealership. I recommend Master Auto Body for all body work and will use them again in the future.

“Masters Auto Body will guarantee the workmanship and paint for as long as you own the vehicle.” I must admit, I was very skeptical when I read this on their website. However, I'm here to tell you that it's 100% true! On our way back from a trip, my bumper became detached on the passenger side. Once we returned to the Charlottesville area, I called Masters Auto Body, as they had installed the bumper almost two years ago. After inspecting it, they found a defect in the bumper. Masters quickly ordered a replacement and took care of everything! We were leaving within the week for another trip, and I had my car back in pristine condition, ready for our family vacation. Thank you, Vince, Jeff, and everyone we worked with for making this stressful situation smooth sailing.

After a serious side-door collision, I had no idea which body shop to use, how to deal with another party’s insurance company, etc. Fortunately, a friend recommended I contact Jeff Cotten at Masters Auto Body. Once I got in the queue for repairs, I couldn’t have been more pleased. Jeff and his staff were friendly and responsive from beginning to end. They handled correspondence with the insurance company, answered questions in a timely manner, and kept me apprised of progress on repairs. As for workmanship, Jeff and Chris did an amazing job on the car; it looks fantastic! Jeff’s attention to detail is also admirable.. He and his team are true professionals in every sense of the word.

The entire experience with Masters was very organized and professional. Every interaction with their staff was very good. Everything was coordinated with my insurance company, including the car rental (which was a very decent car). I'm very pleased with the quality of the work. The total repair cost was a fair bit higher than the estimate, which didn't affect my out of pocket with insurance. I give Masters a very enthusiastic recommendation!

I really need to give Masters a 5+...because they went above and beyond the call of duty. Chris (manager) was was so helpful in explaining the issues with my car and Jeff (the owner) made it his priority to make sure I was totally satisfied with the outcome. It was so easy to get a car rental directly from them while my car was being worked on. And when I got my car back, it was detailed and looked just like a brand new car. Thank you Masters!

They did an amazing job repairing a big scratch I put on the side of my car from hitting a rock smh. My final bill was even $200 less than what I thought it was going to be! Would definitely recommend to all my friends & family. And even had it fixed right in time for the holidays!!! :)))))

This place ain’t nothing but the truth!The service is pleasant business welcoming.They gave me date for an estimate,gave me a date that won’t long out at all.I dropped my car off a Tuesday they told me Thursday if we don’t run into any set backs.There were no set backs my car was ready like they said.Shout to Chris and the whole Master’s Body Shop.The work is on point.People look no further this the way to go!!

I took a front bumper there to be painted. The car is 21 years old. I brought a paint chip sample from the wrecked part of the car, and what I got back was totally impressive! They matched the paint color EXACTLY to the 21 year old paint. The price was completely worth it. BTW, this was a Red corvette.
