I am new to Austin, Texas so I was really worried about finding a new mechanic, as we all know how easily we can get ripped off. I am so happy I found this place. It was incredibly well run, organized, clean and modern. They have newer technology like a “online portal” to make it easy to pay and have all the issues written out (which is also saved incase something wasn’t fixed right). The business is ran by an incredibly kind, hardworking and smart family. All husbands, wives, daughters and so on work there. You can tell they all care about the business. Also they speak perfect Spanish and perfect English. Make sure to try out their taco stand! Killer al pastor tacos

They are professional. Pricing is a bit high but will work with you. I was quoted $6850 for a rebuild. After I told him never mind, I'll take it somewhere else, he said it can be done for $3800. Wow. About $3000 difference.

Took my truck here for alignment, balancing , all engine belts replaced, spark plug & cable replacement . Excellent service, same day service as well. They also provide uber service for transportation while service is being completed on your vehicle. All my problems were fixed the first time. I'll stay doing business here.

As a business owner I’m rather disappointed. I looked past the reviews to give them a shot because I always imagine those people are just being over the top for something personal on their end. Long story short. 1. Bad business ethics 2. Don’t own up to their tardiness 3. Deceptive with the process 4. Price gouge (must of thought I was uninformed) 5. States it’s $240 an hour for labor on a European car. And $180 on American cars LOL Overall do not recommend as you can find a fair price down the street on congress

I took my vehicle to this location as the company I work for had been taking all of our work vehicles there and I thought it was a reputable place. I had already taken it to another mechanic that I typically use, but he was going on vacation so he was able to diagnose the issue as needing new motor mounts, but was unable to replace them because he was going to be gone for two weeks. My husband and I took our vehicle to the shop. We informed the man checking us in and we were told we would have a call by noon the next day. I called them back at 6 PM the next day because I never got any communication and was told that the motor mounts need to be replaced, but they were also going to replace the transmission mounts and another set of mounts as well. We approved the quote went forward with the repair. We were told my vehicle would be ready the next day and they would give us a call before the end of business. The next day once again, I had to call at 6 PM because I did not receive contact and was told my vehicle was getting ready to go for a test drive and I could come and pick it up. we went to the shop paid for it and noticed my vehicle was still in the bay. I asked if that meant my vehicle had been tested and they said no if it was test driven, they would have parked it outside. I thought that was weird, but got in my vehicle and left an immediately noticed my car was still shaking. As it was closing time, I called from right outside the shop and explain the issues and I was told to bring it back the next morning at 8 AM. I was onsite at 8 AM the next morning & there was another gentleman there as well who also had been told 8 AM and we found out the shop did not open till 9 AM. I came back at 9 AM. Explain the issues and was told by the gentleman I had checked the car in with "Well it's shaking a lot less so that's good." I believe it was the manager that then walked up and said it was just the steering wheel shaking. I asked them to look it over and mentioned maybe a bolt was loose and was told "No we do everything to specs." My husband was called midday and told that we needed to provide our title registration insurance or drivers license because now that they have replaced the motor mounts they needed to fix some thing in my computer itself. He was going on shift and asked me to give the shop a call. Once I did, I explained that the registration is on the window. The insurance is in the vehicle and they had already scanned my ID the day before at the time of payment. At this time I was told it would cost an extra $480 in order to update the computer that the motor mounts had been replaced. I asked why that was not quoted with the original quote. If that's something you have to do once the mountains are replaced, and I was basically given roundabout excuses. I told him not to touch my vehicle that I would come pick it up and take it directly to the dealership. Once I picked up my vehicle and took it to the dealership, I found out they installed not only the motor mounts backwards, but the transmission mounts, and that was the cause of the issues. I went ahead and had the dealership proceeded with correcting the issues as I had already given Martinez auto a chance to correct whatever issues were wrong and they stated they wanted to go into my computer. I also found out that the dealership charges $190 to go into a computer however at no point in time should your motor mounts affect your computer system. I'm so glad I did not allow them to go into my computer cause I can't imagine what else would have to be repaired by the dealership afterwards. I strongly advise against using this company since not only were they unable to do the work properly the first time, they refused to fully look into the issues the second time. Using them end up, costing me more time and money.

These guys did a great job! The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the issues I had with my truck and gave me options on how to fix it. They got the work done in one day as promised. I highly recommend going to Martinez!

In a world where quality and customer service is almost non-existent, these guys stand out above all as being top-tier competitors in the market. I don't think my vehicle is driven this nicely since I bought it, And I didn't have to break the bank on repairs to achieve it with Martinez Auto repair. These guys are amazing! They know what they're doing and I won't go anywhere else. I will be back. Trustworthy and highly respectful.

Was told I needed a new alternator from a test from auto zone - turns out it was just a battery. The service was great and staff courteous. I really appreciate the honesty of the staff letting me know the cheaper option was the correct remedy.

I was out town for training and the under part of my car fell down dragging. Not knowing what to do. This business was close by. I stopped in, they were soooo friendly and helpful !!! I can’t thank them enough for helping me in a bad situation and fast !!! Thank you !

My company had a van that needed some work done. It was easy to make an appointment for the overall system check and we got the quote for repairs the next day. From the time we approved the quote to the time the vehicle was ready was just a few days. We would definitely use them again!
