I had a great experience at Lucas Tire. Walked in on a Sunday and got four new TPM sensors at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful, and for the first time in Chicago, I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. I’ll be coming here for all my car service needs!

Needed to replace one tire, not in stock, the tire was there the next morning, Costco needed 5-7days, Lucas installed the tire, checked the pressure in the others and re-installed the spare also checking its pressure, great service!

This is a great place for more than just tires! They fit me in for a last minute oil change at the end of a cold day when I'm sure everyone would rather have gone home. They even put air in my tires without me asking! Side note, there's lots of other stuff in the neighborhood so it's easy to drop your car off for service and go run an errand or two or grab lunch while you wait for it.

Twice they have tried to overcharge me. One person would quote me a price, and then when they call me, they tell me it's a different price. I have a picture of one such event. I dropped off my car with simply a request to have my winter wheels/tires put on. Just have to take off old and put on the new. This costs $40 at Ashland tire/auto. However, here, they quoted me $35, and so I said ok. Later they said, they added a balancing to it, so it was $140. After I told them I never agreed to that, they honored the pricing, but they hemmed/hawed and said that's not the right price.

We brought our Jeep grand Cherokee in for servicing and to address a couple other issues we made an appointment on Saturday morning. The work was done promptly and we had our car back in less than two hours. Great service very communicative at a fair price.

Was not a super great experience. My car broke down and I towed it here, only for them to charge me for a $150 diagnostic fee even when I knew the battery was the issue. I received many rude and abrasive phone calls from who I believe was the manager about paying up front for the battery AND the diagnostic fee before they even checked out the rest of the car. Eventually I just decided to scrap the car and they charged me $75 for just looking at the battery. Even when I got there to scrap it, they repeatedly tried to bargain with me on the price for parts. I would not go back there for any car problems.

Lucas Tires provided me with excellent service, competitive rates, and nothing but professionalism. My car is running great and I generally recommend them. I do have to issue a caveat that I caution against paying for services with them through Snap Finance. My experience with Snap has led to inconsistent billing and inflexible payment methods that have brought some frustration. I don't blame the business, as the people at Lucas Tires have no control over this. They're nothing but honest and provided quick service. I strongly advise you approach Snap Finance as carefully as possible though. Pay off Lucas Tires in full if you can afford it, you'll thank me later!

Rich was excellent help and stayed to make sure I was taken care of even though it was Christmas Eve. He made recommendations for tire replacements and quickly completed the work. My girlfriend and I ended up having a nice Christmas Eve date at Lucas tire and auto repair! 5 stars! (The only downside was they gave me green tire pressure caps, which, while festive, were not my preferred black caps).
