My partner and I have been taking our cars here for several years. We are both very pleased with the integrity and honest mechanic work and services that they provide. It feels good to be supporting a local business with decades of experience in the industry. I believe that they really adhere to their tagline and slogan “we only fix whats broke”! As someone who is a part of the middle class, it feels good to be able to afford the maintenance and care of my vehicles and it doesn’t drain the wallet. After claiming I needed all new suspension system costing $1,500 , John proved that a local shop of national tire and service company were fabricating the need. They said I would lose the warranty on the tires I purchased from them if I didn't make the repair.

I'm happy with the upfront and friendly staff, and I had good experiences with everyone I met. I had the front axle replaced after the CV boot fell off my driver's side wheel. And rotors and brakes after that, since they were also worn. It made sense with the history and usage of my vehicle, so while it was a chunk of work I'm happy my car is handling the way it should and is safe to drive. John offered to let me get my car the same day if I needed to, and after-hours which if I had any emergencies would have been very appreciated. I picked it up this afternoon and everything is as it should be. Prices are fair and competitive, and overall I had a good experience and will be returning for future maintenance and repairs.

Live in Prescott and was down in the valley for training. My 2022 one-ton Chevy was having some DEF issues(as expected) and John saw me the next morning and diagnosed the problem, cleared the codes, and reassured me of the issue and that is was under warranty and the dealership will fix it. He didn't try to sell me anything or have me throw money at the problem. What an honest guy! My only issue is that I wish he would open up a shop in Prescott!

Stopped going to my Hyundai dealer in Scottsdale as service became atrocious. Came here to Lowery's and boy, am I glad I did! Nice shop. Older unit, but immaculate. Staff is super friendly. John & Harlee were great. Prices are very reasonable and the turn time was no problem. Check them out - I think it'll be your new mechanic site!! Top shop with good people that know what they're doing! The best!!

I almost hate posting a review for Lowreys Garage. Why? Because he’s already so busy it takes me days to schedule an appointment. Again you ask why? Because he is the best mechanic in the valley. He is also the most trust worthy man in the valley and probably the state. He’s an excellent mechanic and will only fix what needs to be fixed. He will tell you honestly what potential problems you may have in the future but will not “manufacture” problems to pad his bottom line. My whole family uses them and he has never let us down. Again it’s with mixed emotions I post this but he is the best in the valley. (Also he has no negative reviews. How many businesses can say they have never let a customer down)? I know this will mean he will get busier and that will have a negative effect on me but overall you will be impressed with his workmanship and integrity.

John is a hardworking and honest man who isn't going to rip you off. You often have to wait to get in, but the wait is a direct result of how many clients he serves due to his trustworthiness. I highly recommend him if you need a mechanic.

Great local shop. 👍 they communicate very well. They will list out things to work on, in a priority level. Needs.. shoulds... wants etc.. John and his team knock it out of the park. The last car I bought I only did because they looked at it and gave me their opinion on it. I even have my mother use them for maintenance.

I wish I was a bad enough person to rate this shop poorly so I didn't have to compete with other people for an appointment because the prices are great, the quality of the work is excellent, and the staff really goes out of their way to take care of you.

You will not find a friendlier, caring, knowledgeable, more honest staff anywhere else! I have been to many repair shops that I would never go back to, but finding this shop has renewed my faith in people. I had my check engine light go on when I was helping my daughter move into her home on a Saturday afternoon. I called Lowery's Garage and talked to John. I was not far from the shop and he told me to come by. He ran a diagnostic check to see what the problem was right then and there. He told me what the problem was and said he would order the parts I needed and then give me a call when to bring it in. He reassured me that it was ok to drive fo the time being. Then when the parts came in I had him do that repair and an oil change. He did a thorough check over the whole car. I was shocked that the price was not more than it was! Everyone was so kind and helpful! When I left I was about a mile away, I noticed my right turn signal was flashing oddly. I called the shop and they told me to come right back and they would look at it. When I did it turned out to be a burned out bulb which they replaced with no charge. If I was able to I would definitely give Lowery's much higher than 5 stars!!!
