This was the third company I had made an appointment with to have repair/service done on my mower. The first was no call no show, the second no show but called a day later. Mind you I had taken off work both days; frustrating to say the least. Lost all hope but decided to try one more before loading it up and hauling it to a mechanic. That’s when I found Lowcountry…. We had a 10 am appointment. I received a courtesy call the afternoon before, they weren’t late in fact they were 45 minutes early also notifying me when dispatching. The technician was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. He made a wonderful repair and was very thorough making me aware of the condition of my mower and what to expect moving forward with maintenance. Top notch! They have a customer for life! You are making a mistake if you call anyone else.

Came across this company several years ago. Never heard of a Mobile Mechanic before and thought I would give it a try. Best decision I ever made! The fact that they come to your home, do the work, and very glad to explain What they are doing to you is fantastic. Not to forget, to mention, their prices are great! From the time I make the appointment for them to come and service my lawnmower it is up and running within two weeks for the new season. I was having to wait up to six weeks to get my lawnmower back when I brought it to the local shop and was twice as expensive! This company is the best! I cannot say enough good things about them and I’m so thankful that I found them.

Awesome service for a great price. They took care of my self-propelling issue with my mower in 30 minutes or so and got me running again. Very well mannered people and great customer service. They even mowed part of my yard. Highly recommend these folks if you’re having issue with your mower, mowers are just too expensive to replace and these people give you a good deal.

Charged me $40 for a 5 minute check to tell me it wouldn't be worth fixing my push lawnmower. Which I appreciate the honesty, but applauded at the amount he charged. I had a riding mower for him to look at, but at that price for a service call I changed my mind.

Contacted company for a quote to fix a self propelled mower that wasn’t fully engaged, assuming it needed a belt replaced or more, and Steve suggested I check the cable tension first (wasn’t aware it had this) and told me how to do it. Said he didn’t wanna charge me for a trip out if that’s all they needed to do once here. Went outside, found the adjustment nut, and issue solved in a few minutes. Appreciate his help versus just coming out to take my money, which he could have done, and will definitely use his services when the needed arises.

Low-country Mobile Mechanic is an incredible throw-back to the days of trusted service, good advice and integrity. I needed them a few years ago, and they proved timely and reliable. Yesterday I called them with another problem (different lawnmower) and after a brief discussion, the technician said, “I’m happy to come check it out, but I suggest you check ______ first. I don’t want to waste your money on a simple fix.” I checked what he recommended and 10 minutes and $2.25 later the lawnmower was running like a champ. You know they’re honest and good when something like this happens. Thanks!

Top Notch Service. The shop which used to service my lawn mower went out of business. I found this shop on the web and decided to give it a try. The service was excellent. When most shops (including my former shop) take 2-3 weeks to service and have your mower ready, these folks inspected and fixed my mower in literally 15 minutes while I waited. And the price was very fair. Will be taking my mower there from hereon.

Unbelievable service. Steve called me back IMMEDIATELY and set up an appt for the following day. He even called me to let me know they would be 15 min late. Who does this today! Got in touch with them yesterday and told me they could be here today. Gave me a fair price and the owner son came over and got my tractor up and running in about 45 minutes. Completely took the carburetor apart and cleaned it as the float was stuck I believe. Anyway, Ethan the son of the owner was a very polite and respectfully young man and did a great job. Highly recommend to anybody

Professional, honest, fast service and fair price for excellent work. Mr. Steve Hilton and his son are very knowledgeable and responsible. Mr. Hilton initially provided advice over the phone to try to troubleshoot, at no charge! This is true “old-school” customer service which is so hard to find nowadays. I will continue to use this gem of a company to service my John Deere riding lawn mower and highly recommend them to anyone who needs their equipment serviced in the comfort of their own home. Steve is the real deal. He repaired my pressure washer in record time while being very social. Steve gave me tips on how to maintain my equipment and get a good life out of my other small engines.
