Very kind, honest, and neighborly shop. I stopped in here to get a slow tire leak fixed and they managed to help me on the spot, despite being busy with scheduled appointments. When it came time to pay the man at the front desk asked me if I lived in the neighborhood, and when I told him I did he refused to accept payment. I tried my hardest to leave something but he wouldn’t take my money. I’m planning on dropping by with cash for the young guy who did the work on my tire just as a thank you, but didn’t have any on me at the time so I couldn’t tip him in the moment. This is the type of neighborhood business that you want to support, and Church Hill/East End is lucky to have them.

Excellent mechanic, fair, and honest. I've had work done a few times, but more recently my car failed inspection at Sheehy Ford for tag lights (license plate). So I replaced the lights and took it to Lotsey. It failed again, for bad front brake pads. However, they showed me the pads and it was clear they needed to be replaced bc I've done my brakes in the past. In the end, they did the work in an hour (90 min less than I spent at Sheehy for an oil change and inspection) and charged me less for pads and rotors plus labor than Sheehy would charge for tag lights. I highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with the service so professional so prompt explained everything I needed and why I’m on top of everything they squeeze me in when they didn’t have to hundred percent recommend definitely going back in my opinion this is the one and only stop for any of your automotive repair needs

I have used Lotsey's services a couple of times now and it is by far the best experience I've ever had at a car shop. I keep coming back for the fast service (I have never had to make an appointment and they are usually done with my car within an hour) and the very kind mechanics who try to get you the best price on tires. I've never felt like they were trying to upsell me or my husband and their prices are incredibly reasonable. Honestly the best car shop in town.

Was in town for a couple days for a concert and noticed a chunk strangely missing from my front driver sidewall one morning. Based upon the solid reviews, I came here, and am glad I did. Sherman addressed me right away and had everything lined up in minutes. He's a real professional and a good man. I decided to have both front tires replaced. Took about 20 minutes. Outstanding service, great price, what's not to like. HIGHLY recommend

Sherman, the owner, takes care of me by keeping my 2005 PT Cruiser running. It will be my last car and no matter when I show up he and his great team of mechanics take care of it. There the BEST!!

This place has the kindest and most efficient staff! I stopped in for an oil change and mentioned my hubcaps had been stolen. They ordered new hubcaps for me on the spot, had them delivered there in 10 minutes, attached them, and only charged me the manufacturer’s cost. I will never go anywhere else!!

Low tire pressure came up. Even after I added air the pressure stayed low. No appointment and they took my car right in. Great customer service.

My daughter had a coolant leak so we came here spoke with Sherman and he assured us they would take care of it. Fast, courteous and reasonable cost of service. As a mom and my daughter a student we were nervous looking for a shop that wouldn't take advantage of us and I think we found that place. Would definitely recommend.
